Found this when I opened the Blower Door on a Goodman Gas Furnace. The Filter was completely torn apart and out of the track. Needless to say, I replaced that Filter!

Working on two High Efficiency Lennox Furnaces in Downingtown. As I was testing the combustion of one of the units I took this video. Those are codes flashing on the Control Board. Their are two different codes flashing. One code has the small “h” which indicates the system is running in variable speed heat. The second code “A950” tells us how many CFMs the fan is moving. This equates to how much Air the system is moving.

How old is your Water Heater? Checking the age of a Bradford White Water Heater in Kennett Square while I was performing a Heat Tune Up on the Heater. Water Heaters in residential applications typically last between 10-12 Years.

🎶I love Fishes because they’re so delicious, gotta go fishing!🎶. I remember that song from when I was a Kid. I think it was on the Commercial for the Goldfish Crackers! These fish are not for eating, but the song popped into my head as I was taking the video.

If you watch the video and look closely you can see the Steam coming off of this Trane Heat Pump. I was testing the Defrost on the Heat Pump, which is designed to melt any ice or frost off of the Outdoor Coil.

🎶🎶Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow 🎶🎶. They are saying 2-3” of Snow this afternoon! Are you ready? Is your heater ready for this Cold Winter? Found a Low Capacitor on this Carrier Heat Pump system in Victoria Crossings while performing a Heat Tune Up.

I am in the Glenmoore/Downingtown area working on a Carrier Propane Furnace. I took the video of me testing the Combustion outputs of the Furnace. We have good Flames and the Combustion numbers are reading right where they should be!

Just stopping for a second, or fifteen, to enjoy this beautiful sunset view across the farmland.

Replacing this old Contactor on a Payne Heat Pump System in Cochranville. The pads on this Contactor are worn and pitted, which could cause it to not work properly and eventually cause issues with the Heat Pump.

Just replaced the Gray Vinyl Tubing Line on this Aprilaire 700 Humidifier in Honeybrook. The gray tubing goes from the Solenoid Valve (pictured) to the Humidifier. It is what feeds the Water across the Water Panel inside the Humidifier. The previous tube, had a small crack in it and was leaking water.

See that little guy there?! It may be small, but that’s an important part of the Furnace. I’m replacing that Capacitor which is for the Blower Motor. It is testing below the recommended rating. If it gets too low, you risk damaging the Blower Motor. That’s what Preventative Maintenance is all about!

I have my Manometer hooked up to the Gas Valve and I am adjusting the Pressure while the Trane Furnace is running in 1st Stage, which we also call Low Fire. The Combustion Numbers were slightly off while it was in Low Fire, so I increased the Gas Pressure a small amount.

This is a picture of the new Condensation Pump Tubing that I just ran. The old tubing was very dirty and becoming clogged. To avoid any issues with the Pump overflowing or failing because it couldn’t pump out we recommended replacement of the Tubing. Tested the pump several times to ensure that it was pumping and draining properly.

Just started a Heat Tune Up on this Trane TAM 7 Heat Pump System in Victoria Crossings. This is like peeking behind the curtain. You can see the Blower Motor on the bottom, the refrigerant Coil in the middle, and at the top is the Electric Heat Kit for the unit.

Working on an Amana Gas Furnace in Glenn Mills. We installed this unit back in May of this year. Even with brand new systems it is important to keep up on maintenance. This will allow us to fine tune any settings if adjustments need to be made. System replacement is an investment, and it is important to keep that investment running like new!

Working on an Amana Heat Pump System we installed in January of this year. This morning we had a training on the Air Scrubber products. We did not install this when we installed the unit, but after this mornings training I am very excited to see it! I’m going to get some feedback from the customer on how they like this Air Quality product. I’ll keep you posted......
