Service call that the Gas Furnace was not working. Upon arrival spoke with customer about issue. Was informed that the system went through several attempts to start and run and then began to run later. Turned heat up to test operation. Found inducer motor running but pressure switch was not closing. Found a bees nest in Intake Vent Pipe at burner box screen. Removed and blew through Intake and Exhaust Piping and removed another bees nest from the intake pipe. Exhaust Vent pipe had a lot of water that had accumulated. Found the Exposed Exhaust Pipe is pitched the wrong way in one section. This could be causing water to pool and not drain properly which could also cause pressure switch problems in the future. Cycled system multiple times and measured pressure across the Switch. Pressure switch was rated for 1.4†WC and was testing at 1.7-1.8†WC upon completion. Burners on unit are very rusted. Also found Heat Exchanger was very rusted. Cleaned Flame Sensor and performed a combustion
Performed heating maintenance, checked air filter. Ok. Blew out condensate trap and drain. Cleaned burners and flame sensor, inspected heat exchanger. Checked voltage, amperage and electrical connections, measured capacitor values. Started gas furnace, tested limit and safety switches. Maintenance fuel pressures. Performed combustion test. Checked operation and temperature rise.

Performed both heat and a/c tune up on carrier propane gas and a/c system. 16x25x1 air filter is clean. Checked all electrical conections and components.blew out condensate drain. Checked gas pressure. Performed combustion test. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. Both gas furnace and a/c are working fine at time of inspection. Found flame sensor worn almost entirely thru. Called distributer for price and availability. 4/22/20. Installed flame sensor and checked flame signal. Had a reading of 5 micro amps . Furnace is functioning correctly at time of service.
Performed ac tune up check electrical low and high ok replace air filter, flushed drain and test pump ok added tabs, check temp split ok check outdoor unit refrigerant pressures capacitor and contactor ok noticed locked rotor amps are over 100 with potential relay and start capacitor only draws 26 amps informed customer and recommended converting to cscr customer will think on that option
Performed precision heat tune up on comandaire geothermal. Replaced Aprilaire 213 air filter. Checked all electrical conections and components. Did have some corrosion around loop circulator pump, but no water leaks. Checked air temperature rise which was 22 degrees. Also had a 7 degree water delta t . Which is good. Checked compressor amp draw, it was within specs. Geothermal is older but is working fine at time of service.
Performed LP gas heater check up, check electrical clean filter test pump ok recommended replacing flame rod and blower cap, customer ok with pricing blower cap reading 12.5 rated at 15" and rod is in bad shape cycle ht gas pressures combustion test ok, recommend replacing burners lot of rust on the end cones, and carry over,
Tested hot water heater pressure at 80psi and house pressure is 50psi. Expansion tank is good . Relief valve needs to be replaced. Replaced relief valve and tested out . Checked for water leaks around new relief valve . Relief Valve never opened after water heater satisfied. Tested temperature, pressure and full operation of water heater and Water heater is running to standards.
