219 Sylvan Drive attn to detail missed
Scott Jenkins - Pottstown, PA
The technicians were courteous and professional but there were several issues with the quality of work performed that I observed after work was complete. 1. Dust and woodchip debris from a board sawed by the technician was left in a pile where it fell in our basement. 2. An elbow duct joining a main duct had a large gap that was neither screwed nor taped and one could feel air being lost through this large gap. 3. Other joints/connections in ductwork where one would expect there to be tape there was none and one could feel air being lost. 4. A new electric line that had to be run from the thermostat to the new furnace was not stapled to the ceiling joist in the basement but was left hanging. 5. Two large holes had to be drilled through our block walls in the basement to accommodate PVC pipes to the outside- The gaps left around the PVC pipes were only partially caulked on the top of the PVC from the outside but were not caulked at all on the bottom of the PVC. On the inside from the basement you could clearly see daylight through both holes and the void from the inside around both holes was not filled in at all. 6. The pump attached to the humidifier was placed directly on the concrete floor of the basement rather than on something that would raise the pump off the floor to avoid contact with any moisture. The salesman, who was also very courteous and professional, assured me the quality of work performed by his crew would surpass that of previous contractors. This is no different than other contractors especially given the price I paid, which was high. What concerns me the most is that if details like this were overlooked, what else was overlooked that I can't see directly? Given the price I paid, which was on the high end, I expected flawless service. It is attention to detail that produces an exceptional quality product in the end. I suppose only time will tell.
Challenging job well done
Sharon - Pottstown, PA
We have an older solidly built Kutz home with three custom-sized in-wall air conditioners that needed replaced (2 on the top floor and 1 on the second). Definitely not an easy job!! Joe was kind enough to come out on a Sunday in the rain to measure and then researched to give us the best product at a fair price. Nathan and Chris showed up on right as scheduled to remove the old units and install the new. They encountered challenge after challenge and still managed to get those units in and functioning in one day. Nathan then came back promptly (thank you Angie!) and put the final touches in place and answered all our questions. Nothing but good to say about the DiBiase team. Highly recommended. We will definitely be calling them again next year for the other three.

Friendly service. Bryan came in and quickly went to work doing a full inspection of my ac system. Any questions I had, he was quick to provide answers if he had them, or point in the right direction for whatever else I needed.
Arrived at customers home and greeted them at the front door. Spoke to Scott about what is going on with the furnace and we both proceeded down to the basement. Removed the front cover and noticed small calcium stain under inducer. Checked over inducer and no issue found other than the one clamp for the flue was loose. Tightened clamp. Stain is only directly under inducer, does not go to secondary pan. Checked over pan anyways and no issues found. Checked all piping and no leaks found. Scott said system ran good thru the winter. No staining on inducer itself. Stain could have come from during installation also. But clamp could have been the problem. Showed Scott how to clean EZ trap with brush. No charge as it is a newer install. Thank you for choosing DiBiase Heating and Cooling for your home comfort needs. Have a great day!

Customer called in the office he has seen water still leaking, upon arrival found unit satisfied on temperature, raise set temp to 70 so Heater would run, did not see any signs of water leaking, there is little bit of water in the pan from Last visit where leak was fixed by tightened rubber coupling at the exhaust, did not see any potential leak told customer to check system very once in while see if they see any water in the pan, currently pan is completely dry, and also check where the water is coming from, attic unit noticed drain line does not have heat cord, sometimes when it get really cold condensation could freeze and would have impact in heater performance and also will cause leaks, customer aware with situation, recommended having furnace check so we can go though entire system performance
Checked no heat complaint, found wet switch tripped and water in the pan. Found desuperheater circulator leaking. Disabled desuperheater circulator and shut off ball valves. Circulator stopped leaking. This is a well recommended having water tested and consider conditioning the water to prevent further damage.

Started geo heat pump, measured btu output. Checked water pressure and temperature. Checked operation and temperature rise across coil.
Performed 2 room co test before and after running boiler. and combustion analysis on boiler, all readings came back normal. Both co detectors were purchased at the same time and installed roughly the same time believe that both of the alarms are bad told customer, she said she would purchase new ones with digital read outs to replace faulty co detector

We will remove the existing through the wall air conditioners and dispose of them. We will install new Amana brand PTAC though the wall air conditioner units Model PBC122G00CC with cooling capacity of 11,800 btu/hr. We will install a new sleeve if needed. We will seal the unit at the outside All work is completed as specifications indicated above.
Performed precision heat tune up. System is running to manufacture specifications but does need repairs. New air vent 1 1/2 inch in size, new water feeder, and 4 floor needs to be bled of air but can not until new water feeder is installed. So gasket around domestic hot water seal is leaking and needs replaced.
Performed precision heat tune up on oil boiler. Adjusted aquastat Low side was adjusted to 140 with differential set to 25. High side kept at 180. Was set at 160 low with 10 diff. Noticed that the shut off valve for the cold water intake for the domestic hot water is leaking. We also noticed there were no mixing valve to the domestic hot water. We recommend installing to help control hot water supply and temperature. Adding the mixing valve will resolve the water leak at the shut off valve as well. Noticed leaking on one of the existing zone valves. We recommend replacing. Estimate will be attached with options. System is running at manufacture specifications.
Found vinyl tubing clogged . Replaced 13ft feet of vinyl tubing and tested operation.
