There was concern I smelled gas coming from an area right by my water heater. I called DIBIASE at about 10:30 AM thinking I would have a technician out the following day. The scheduler recognized the urgency of the situation and had a tech out the same day at 5:30 PM.The tech had been to our house before so it was nice to see a friendly face. He was able to diagnose the issue quickly and completed the repair quickly as well. The repair was completed in about an hour. As always, The tech was very friendly, personable and answered all my questions.

Great Service, Personal and Thorough

This rating is based on the follow-up inspection as the unit was installed at the beginning of April. The unit has been running as expected without issues. I mentioned an area or two where I felt the unit was not quite proficient; however the technician went into the control settings and made and adjustment that has resolved the issue, and the unit has been working fine ever since. The technicians were the ones who installed the unit, and were great to speak with for both installation and follow-up. They were both personable and answered all of the questions I had; in addition, they allowed me to ask specific follow-up questions in order to get a better understanding of how the unit works and certain maintenance items. I have dealt with a handful of HVAC contractors in the area for both home warranty work, and when pricing out replacement units. DIBIASE was by far the most professional, prompt, and attentive to the needs of our situation.

Reset furnace and observed operation. Found furnace firing up and shutting down after 5 seconds. Tested flame sensor and removed and cleaned sensor. Tested operation.Recommend full thorough cleaning on furnace and removing and cleaning of blower assembly. No filter is installed on unit. Recommend installing filter right away. Filter size is 18x18x1. Pitch on vent pipe is incorrect and also the vent pipe is too close to drywall and needs to be corrected for safety . Drywall needs to be removed to assess what needs to be done to repair.
Service call that the Humdifier was leaking. Humidifier was turned off upon arrival. Turned Humidifier on and tested. Found Humidifier Panel was corroded and water was leaking over the top of the tray. Humidifier was cleaned and serviced in December. Hard water could cause the Water Panel to corrode prematurely. Cleaned Humidifier Tray and replaced Water Panel. Blew through Drain Tubing to ensure it was clear. Turned Humidifier back on and monitored. Allowed Humidifier to run for 10-15 minutes and found no signs of Water Leaking. If was leak occurs again, recommend replacement of the Water Panel Tray and Feeder Tube. If the Feeder tube cannot sit in the proper position on the top of the tray is it can cause water issues. Included an estimate for the Water Panel Tray and Feeder Tube for an Aprilaire 500 Humidifier.
