Concerned over gas leak.
Chris - Thorndale, PA
Luis was our technician. Because he has done much of the maintenance on our units after install, he is very familiar with our system. Luis is friendly, efficient and takes the time to listen to all of your questions and explain everything in detail. I've dealt with a number of different HVAC professionals as we used to have a home warranty company. Luis and the other DiBiase techs are significantly better than any of the other HVAC company's that serviced our older HVAC system.

Luis was the technician who serviced our Central Air in the spring, and serviced the furnace for the fall as well. Luis was prompt in his appointment window, friendly and answered all of the additional questions I had. Everyone from DiBiase has been very professional. Luis was great with offering little tips on what I can do as general maintenance in order to keep the unit running well into the future.
Excellent customer service

There was concern I smelled gas coming from an area right by my water heater. I called DIBIASE at about 10:30 AM thinking I would have a technician out the following day. The scheduler recognized the urgency of the situation and had a tech out the same day at 5:30 PM. The tech had been to our house before so it was nice to see a friendly face. He was able to diagnose the issue quickly and completed the repair quickly as well. The repair was completed in about an hour. As always, The tech was very friendly, personable and answered all my questions.

Great Service, Personal and Thorough

This rating is based on the follow-up inspection as the unit was installed at the beginning of April. The unit has been running as expected without issues. I mentioned an area or two where I felt the unit was not quite proficient; however the technician went into the control settings and made and adjustment that has resolved the issue, and the unit has been working fine ever since. The technicians were the ones who installed the unit, and were great to speak with for both installation and follow-up. They were both personable and answered all of the questions I had; in addition, they allowed me to ask specific follow-up questions in order to get a better understanding of how the unit works and certain maintenance items. I have dealt with a handful of HVAC contractors in the area for both home warranty work, and when pricing out replacement units. DIBIASE was by far the most professional, prompt, and attentive to the needs of our situation.

Also added a new switch and receptical to the unit. Connected the existing oil line to the new unit and also hooked up all the low voltage wires. Turned on unit and did a smoke test, combustion test and also static pressure test.
Repaired 2 hydronic leaks inside walls. Filled and tested boiler. Performed combustion test and adjusted set points. Boiler is operating at manufacture specifications.

Service call that the Heat was not working. Turned system on and found Inducer Motor was running but the pressure switch was not closing. Found the Intake Exhaust Pipe was blocked. Cut 3†Exhaust Pipe due to being glued into the Furnace. Cleaned Intake and reassembled. Put system in operation and performed Combustion Analysis on Furnace. Cycled system multiple times to insure it was firing and running properly. Also found the Orifice on the Pressure Switch had been removed. Reinstalled the Orifice and put back in operation. Inspected the Vent Pipes on the exterior of the home. The Exhaust Vent Pipe is pitched incorrectly in the basement above the unit. This could cause excess water to accumulate and not drain due to being pitched away from the unit. While system is currently operating this could cause intermittent problems. Included estimate for the repair of the exhaust Pipe so it is pitched properly.
Removed gas flex connector, and installed 1/2 black iron hard pipe and soap checked. Installed inline vent drain. Cleaned up rust on gas valve. Checked gas pressures. Low was 1.9 w.c. And 3.5 w.c. High fire. Also performed combustion test. Gas furnace is working fine at time of service.

Service call that there was an intermittent gas smell coming from either the Furnace or Water Heater. After speaking with Homeowner upon arrival, used Leak Bubble on the Gas Line for the Water Heater and the Furnace. Found a small leak at one of the Nipple Fittings for the Water Heater. Disassembled the section of Gas Line. Cleaned the Fittings and reassembled with new Pipe Sealant. Turned Gas on to the Water Heater and retested the Gas Line to ensure there were no leaks. Relit the pilot and turned the Thermostat Control up to Hot.
