Boiler Installation & Replacement in Chester County
Boiler replacement sized to your home's actual heat loss — not to the boiler that was there before.
Boiler Installation and Replacement
Chester County has a lot of older housing stock running hydronic heat, and a lot of boilers that were sized decades ago for a house that has since been insulated, re-windowed or extended. DiBiase Heating and Cooling Company installs and replaces gas and oil boilers, and sizes them to the building rather than to whatever was in the basement before.
When Replacement Is the Right Call
Repair usually wins until one of these is true:
A cracked or leaking cast-iron section. Once a section goes, the boiler is finished — sections are not economically replaceable.
A heat exchanger leaking internally on a condensing unit. Make-up water constantly entering a sealed system introduces fresh oxygen, which corrodes everything downstream.
Repeated failures on a unit past its service life, where each fix buys a season.
A boiler so oversized it short-cycles. This one is easy to miss because the house does get warm — it just costs far more than it should and wears the boiler out early.
Sizing Is the Whole Job
Oversizing is the most common fault we find in hydronic replacements, and it is caused by replacing like for like. A boiler is matched to the building's heat loss, not to the badge on the old one. We run the heat loss, then look at whether the existing emitters — baseboard, cast-iron radiators, or in-floor loops — can actually deliver that output at the water temperature a modern condensing boiler wants to run.
That last point decides whether a condensing boiler will ever reach its rated efficiency in your house. A high-efficiency unit forced to run hot water temperatures because the emitters are undersized will not condense, and will not deliver the savings it was bought for. We would rather tell you that before you buy it.
We also check the near-boiler piping, the expansion tank, the circulator and the zone controls. These are routinely left as found during a swap and are a common reason a brand-new boiler behaves badly.
Benefits of Steam Boiler Installation
When selecting a new heating system for your house or building, you might overlook a boiler. However, these units can provide many benefits for your household. Let DiBiase Heating and Cooling Company provide expert help!
Technicians at our boiler service company recommend these units because they specialize in letting you efficiently heat an ample space. These transfer heat they create from steam to the entire property, making them ideal for large homes with poor insulation and big spaces to heat.
Another benefit these units provide is their ability to work in extremely cold temperatures. This lets them keep your house warm and cozy on even the coldest days.

What It Costs
Replacement pricing depends on the equipment, the emitters, the venting and the house, so we quote it in person and at no charge, before you commit to anything. Financing is available through Wells Fargo — the lender sets the terms and confirms them in writing.
