Job Locations and Reviews
6/7/26. Fully assessed water leaking situation on Goodman gas furnace a/c installed last week by dibiase. Found water inside the drain pan of the basement system. Poured water inside condensation pump and found water spraying out of 3/8” vinyl hose at a connection made with 5/16 copper. Took photos. Condensation line had to be adapted to due to going over dry wall ceiling. Used 3/8” barb fitting and re secured with hose clamps with new piece of 3/8” vinyl hose. Gave system a call for cooling. System is getting a 22 degree temperature split . A/c is working properly at time of service. No charge recent install.
Luis 6-4-26 Performed ac tune up on Amana 3.5 ton air conditioner from 2020. Check electrical connections and components, check coils and drain system check supply and return air temperatures ok. 3 amp fuse popped during tuneup, i check every low voltage wiring and load everything within range. I seen other 3 amp on top of unit maybe it has happed in the past. No issues found with any shorts. Continued with tune up check outdoor unit electrical components check refrigerant levels and pressures ok all within range. Cycle ac unit ok. System don’t have any surge protection or bacteria protection, I provided estimate to add these safeties. Collected 129 for service plan paid by card.
Reviewed equipment and airflow settings. Ductwork is not sealed and return is in poor condition. Recommended duct sealing and replacing return air box. Inspected outdoor unit and checked charge. Found capacitor compressor and com terminals reversed causing fan to run in reverse. Switched terminals and tested operation. Talked to Joe about attic insulation and improving comfort and efficiency.
Luis 5-27-26 Customer called in for airflow issues in sons room, I inspected all vents check basement duct work, I noticed one individual damper was close on one of the supply branches. I opened up damper and made big difference on airflow to sons room, this is the maximum airflow this room can get without doing major construction work. Customer is happy with the final outcome. System is from 2000, blower motor is set to high, box filter is clean at this time. During today’s visit I only work on ductwork system and airflow. Customer stated cooling system is working fine. System currently operational but at end of normal life expectancy. Due to age and likelihood of issues moving forward, replacement of system is recommended.
Luis 5-27-26 Performed quality assurance on recently installed heat pump and coil. Indoor coil does not have ez trap. Test drain and pump ok. Check connections. Customer stated he had to wire y2 to outdoor unit during installation was not wired. Check outdoor unit refrigerant levels ok. All electrical connections ok. Ez trap was not install during installation. I told customer I could install during today’s visit. Customer said he does not want it install. He did mentioned the same to installers.
No cooling: Equipment is 4 Ton AC with 100,000 BTU atrial gas furnace. System is 17 years old. Found zero volts and no LEDs at indoor control. Emergency Switch was off at stop of the stairs cause of lack of power to indoor equipment. Turned switch on and went through operations of system. Replaced 20x25x4 filter provided by homeowner. Recommend replacing ever 6 months. Needs to order more.n Cleaned outdoor coil with nearby available hose. Temperature split 18° Refrigerant database 225/119 12° SC Good Previous techs have recommended upgrading the humidifier. Provides email estimate for Aprilaire 720M humidifier System operating well at this time but is beyond what is considered replacement age for a forced air system. We were here in December 2023 and provided system upgrade quotes at that time. As a reminder system replacement quotes are free from Dibiase. Homeowner agreed to and paid for Gas Heat+AC plan Membership and diagnostic
Reviewed ductwork for 2nd floor system. Measured airflows and made slight adjustments. Measured airflows again, 2 front rooms are 100 cfm and back bedrooms are 115 cfm, bathrooms are 50 and 70. Downstairs registers are 90 and 65 cfm. Recommend running fan to circulate air on hot days.
Luis 5-22-26 return visit to put heater panels back together, see photos no charge ware from yesterday visit. Generator people to come out later today to fix generac relay.
Disconnected, removed and disposed of exisitng outdoor unit and coil. Installed new coil and outdoor unit. Installed new disconnect box and wiring to unit. Completed all mechanical and electrical connections to the unit. Pressure tested, evacuated and charged system and tested operation.
Luis 5-4-26 customer called in because heater not working second floor. We installed 2 floor ac unit month ago, I found pump not connected, and wiring not connected properly to turn off system. Corrected low volt safety wiring, and test operation, adjusted charge to increase sub cooling 454b total of 8 ounces, I tested pump, ok I run new vinyl tubing from pump to 2 in pvc drain pipe. Existing tubing 5/8 and not properly connected to 3/8. Test pump operation ok system is now working properly. I also perform quality assurance during today’s visit, no need for QA.
Did a thorough assessment of the problem and corrected it.
