6/25/26. Performed quality assurance on recently installed trane a/c system. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked temperature split. Checked 454b refrigerant pressures and temperatures. Customer had concerns with how noisy outside unit is. Found outside fan screw were loose causing vibration and noise. Tightened up and now system is quiet. A/c is working properly at quality assurance check.

I looked at the overall install of the new indoor coil and the outdoor a/c. I inspected the ez trap and the drain line. I checked the system level and the level of the disconnect. Made sure all penetrations were sealed. Checked the electrical connections and checked the breaker size. I checked for caps. Everything is in good working order.

6/12/26. Talked to homeowner about water leaking situation. Found bucket under condensation line when I arrived and towels on the floor. Homeowner said that his wife put duct tape around pipe. Removed duct tape and found broken condensation pipe. He told me this happened after the tune up. After accessing the situation explained to him that the drain is on the negative side of the air handler and should really have an ez trap installed. Provided estimate. He decided to just get the condensation pipe repaired for now. Repaired as a recall since he said we broke the pipping. Also found air filter was pulled up inside air handler. Removed 16x20x1 filter and put in a 16x25x1 so this does not happen. A/c is working properly at time of service.

6/7/26. Fully assessed water leaking situation on Goodman gas furnace a/c installed last week by dibiase. Found water inside the drain pan of the basement system. Poured water inside condensation pump and found water spraying out of 3/8” vinyl hose at a connection made with 5/16 copper. Took photos. Condensation line had to be adapted to due to going over dry wall ceiling. Used 3/8” barb fitting and re secured with hose clamps with new piece of 3/8” vinyl hose. Gave system a call for cooling. System is getting a 22 degree temperature split . A/c is working properly at time of service. No charge recent install.

I seen other 3 amp on top of unit maybe it has happed in the past. No issues found with any shorts. Continued with tune up check outdoor unit electrical components check refrigerant levels and pressures ok all within range. Cycle ac unit ok. System don’t have any surge protection or bacteria protection, I provided estimate to add these safeties. Collected 129 for service plan paid by card.

Found capacitor compressor and com terminals reversed causing fan to run in reverse. Switched terminals and tested operation. I opened up damper and made big difference on airflow to sons room, this is the maximum airflow this room can get without doing major construction work. Customer is happy with the final outcome. System is from 2000, blower motor is set to high, box filter is clean at this time. During today’s visit I only work on ductwork system and airflow. Customer stated cooling system is working fine. System currently operational but at end of normal life expectancy. Due to age and likelihood of issues moving forward, replacement of system is recommended.
