Fully assessed no cooling situation on trane inverter system installed 8/12/25 by dibiase. Found inverter would start in cooling mode and then after a few minutes it would switch to heating mode. Arrived for water leak on an AC system. This is a landlord tenant situation. Customer has a walk up attic to the indoor air handler. I checked the indoor unit. Customer replaced two air filters 14 x 14x1 . I checked my blower static had 1.1 static is high probably due to small returns. I used my charging jacket to get the pressures up. Head pressure. Got 265 head pressure, my suction stayed the same at 100 psi found indoor TXv was frosting up. Indoor TXv is failing. I quoted the cost for two prices one for non-warranty one for warranty he will get back to us and give us a call on Monday. I collected for my time here today.

Customer stated that the master bedroom exhaust fan was not working properly check fan operation. Upon arrival check suction on the fan went up to the attic and noticed that there was two hard bends at the 4 inch duct. Also cut back about 4 feet and made it so only has one bend check performance after adjustment ok suction on fan increase. No charge warranty

Perform precision heat tuneup on 1995 train 80% gas furnace. Checked all electrical connections and components. Tested blower capacitor check resistance of hot surface igniter. Cleaned flame sensor. Replaced 20 x 25 x 1“ air filter. Found old and accurate T 87 mercury thermostat. Provided estimate for Honeywell T4 thermostat. Examined heat exchanger with camera. Furnace is getting pretty old and should consider replacement. Performed Combustion test. Gas furnace is working at time of service.

Air sealed and insulated basement rim joist and sill plate. Vented 2 bathroom exhaust fans to gable vents in attic. Sealed 2 lowered ceiling areas in attic space with air barrier material and 1 part foam.
I needed an estimate for something that would’ve been small work for the company. Joe still came out and provided helpful details of what it would take to remedy my situation. I was also provided an overview of what services Dibiase’s company performs and I would recommend giving them a call for an all-around idea of what your home is missing.
Ben was professional and very thorough. Walked me through the process and quote in great detail.
Everything was done in a professional manner. I was treated as if I was an important customer. Ben was very nice.
