Drain Cleaning & Sewer Services in Chester County
Drain clearing and sewer camera inspection — see what is in the line before deciding what to do about it.
Drain Clearing and Camera Inspection
A slow drain is a nuisance. A drain that backs up into the house is not, and the two often have the same underlying cause. DiBiase Heating and Cooling Company clears blocked drains and inspects sewer lines with a camera so the decision about what to do next is based on what is actually in the pipe.
What the Symptoms Usually Mean
One slow fixture
A single sink, bath or shower draining slowly is almost always a local blockage in that fixture's trap or branch — hair, grease, soap. It is the simplest case and usually the cheapest.Several fixtures at once
When the lowest fixtures in the house go slow together, or a toilet bubbles when the washing machine drains, the restriction is further downstream in a shared line. Clearing one fixture will not fix it.Gurgling, or smells
Gurgling is air being pulled through a trap because the line cannot breathe past an obstruction. Persistent drain smells can indicate a dry trap, but can also mean a partial blockage holding waste in the line.Backing up into the lowest drain
Waste appearing in a basement floor drain or a ground-floor shower means the main line is restricted. Stop running water and call — continuing to use fixtures makes the mess worse. Why We Camera the Line
Clearing a blockage restores flow, but it does not tell you why it blocked. A camera inspection does: roots at a joint, a bellied section holding water, a collapsed clay segment, or simply years of grease. That difference matters, because a line that blocked because of roots will block again on a schedule, while one that blocked because of a single obstruction may never do it again.
We would rather show you the footage and let you decide than sell you a repair you cannot see the need for. Whatever the camera finds, the footage is yours.
How It Works
We diagnose first, then give you a flat-rate price to approve before any work starts. If opening something up reveals a second problem, we stop and re-quote rather than letting the number drift.
Scheduling
Plumbing visits are scheduled during normal service hours. Our 24/7 line covers HVAC emergencies. If the main line is backing up, say so when you call and we will get you the earliest slot available.
