Estimate

(Upon arrival found system not running) performed ac tune check electrical low and high voltage connections and components. Inspect air filter drain and indoor coils. Found zoning board not functioning properly. For testing purposes jump wires, noticed lot of bacteria growth inside air handler coil. Temp split is only 16/17 check outside unit inspect capacitor and contactor within range, compressor start in rough shape. Refrigerant levels are lower than normal r22. Unit is from 2008. System will no cool property during hot weather. This unit uses r22 to add refrigerant cost coils range from 1000 to 2000 dollars. Would recommend getting an estimate to replace system. Provided estimate to replace zoning panel. provided estimate to remove zoning panel and wire both thermostats.

Checked the AC side of the system on an early 6 month check . Checked the air filter and found good . Checked the wiring connections and the voltages on high volt and low volt. Inspected the indoor coil and flushed and tested the drain line. Checked the blower condition and inspected the blower amps and tested for static pressure. Went to the outdoor unit and Checked and tested the pressures by using superheat and sub cooling methods to check for proper charge. Checked the amps for the compressor and the fan motor and checked the indoor cooling temps at the supply and return. The AC system is working fine at this time of service.

Performed 6 month check on recently installed Bosch heat pump. Check all settings and electrical connections and components inside and outside check supply and return airflows. Check air filter drain trap and pump ok check heat pump performance on heat and cool mode. Used inverter board to check temperature and refrigeration pressures/levels ok. No error showing. Cycle heat pump ok. System, is working properly.

Completed AC tune up for 4 Ton Amana AC system Aprilaire 213 filter ok Indoor coil ok. Outdoor coil had a good amount of debris especially on back side. I cleaned in place today with nearby hose which improved head pressure. I left estimate to thorough clean outdoor coil for next year. Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components; left estimates for surge protector for outdoor unit. Measured temperature split and static pressure Inspected drains; cleared trap. Left estimate for overfill protection safety switch. Checked integrity of compressor motor (mega ohm test) Assessed refrigerant charge checked pressures. AC system operating well at this time.

Completed quality assurance for Bosch Inverter. Aprilaire 413 filter Inspected all aspects of install: mechanical, wiring, ductwork connections, drain piping, and safeties. Verified electric heat amps. 40A 10KW Tested system in cooling. Checked temperature split and refrigerant pressures. Set dipswitches correctly for defrost run time. SW5 1 and 2 ON. Install passes quality assurance.

4/24/25. Recovered all refrigerant from heat pump system. Removed existing txv and bi flow filter dryer from system. Brazed in new txv and filter dryer. Pressure tested at 300 psi nitrogen and soap checked. Vacuumed down system to 480 microns. Added in 6lbs of 410a . Refrigerant pressures were 326/123 with 4 subcooling 16 superheat. 24 degrees temperature split. A/c is working correctly at time of service.

Completed AC tune up for 3 Ton Bosch inverter system Replaced 18x20x1 filter Indoor and outdoor coils in good condition Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components; equipment has surge protection on both circuits Measured temperature split and static pressure Inspected drains; clears EZ trap, tested pump; added treatment tabs to drain pan. Assessed refrigerant charge checked pressures. AC system operating well at this time. Homeowner renewed plan membership today.

Provided water heater Replacement options
We have been happy with all the technicians DiBiase has sent out. Knowledgeable, willing to explain things in ways we understand, friendly, suggesting products with Lu high pressure sales.
As always Curt knows his craft. This is the second time My wife and I have had him out for service on our heat pump.

Fully assessed no heating situation. Homeowner gave me information about what Brian brink has done over the years. Zoning is now disconnected and zone dampers are in open position. System is running off of living room thermostat only. Ran system in heating and cooling modes. In cooling mode heat pump ran perfectly. R410 a refrigerant pressures were 256/119 with 10 subcooling. As soon as we switched to heating mode. Found system running for about 29 seconds and shutting off. Found system locking out on code 4&code 6. Code 4 is suction sensor out of range. Code 6 is possible stuck outside eev valve. Recommend replacement of eev valve and board entirely and suction line sensor. Parts will be under parts warranty only. Need to contact distributor and find out pricing and availability. Customer has cooling not heating.

Completed AC tune up for 3.5 Ton Amana heat pump system Replaced Aprilaire 213 filter provided by homeowner, recommend replacing every 6 months. They make an Aprilaire 213CBN filter which does a better job with allergens, Indoor and outdoor coils in good condition Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components; left estimates for surge protectors Measured temperature split and static pressure Inspected drains; clears EZ trap, tested pump; added treatment tabs to drain pan. Checked integrity of compressor motor (mega ohm test) Assessed refrigerant charge checked pressures. * Left estimate for APCOX whole home air treatment system, has UV light to prevent biological growth at indoor coil and ever carbon technology to control allergens and vocs. 0 ozone emissions. We will have to move the humidifier duct to the left to make room for proper install of APCOX. AC system operating well at this time.

Estimate

Fully assessed no cooling situation. Found nothing running at outdoor unit. Found no 24 volts at c&y. At outdoor heat pump. Jumped out terminals at Honeywell t-6 base. Heat pump came on in cooling mode. Found failed thermostat. Brad replaced thermostat. We then tested operation. Had a 20 degree temperature split. Checked refrigerant pressures at roof . 410a refrigerant pressures were 287/107 6 subcooling 21 superheat. Heat pump is working well at time service.

Fully assessed no cooling situation. Gave thru the wall heat pump system a call for cooling. Found 410a refrigerant pressures were 485/38. Found failed indoor txv. Will need to order new txv. Also will recover all refrigerant and replace bi flow filter dryer. Heat pump is not working at this time

Check the air filter and found good . Checked all wiring connections on the board. Inspected the oil furnace and accessories. I looked at the coil , and the drainage for the a/c side of the system. I Performed a check on the heat pump side of the outdoor unit, I checked the wiring connections, and the voltages. Inspected the components and tested the amp draws. I checked my charge by using super heat and sub cool methods . The heat pump is in good working order. Added 1 lb 11 oz to the outdoor unit to achieve specs operation.

Perform AC tuneup on two systems attic and basement unit check electrical connections and components check drain safeties on attic system flush drain and add condensate tabs. Attic filter will need change. Check airflows supply and return ok. Inspect coils indoor and outdoor. Check drain system and test pump ok. Check outdoor units refrigerant levels and pressures, check compressor integrity capacitors and contactors. Attic unit is working normal numbers. Basement unit compressor is continues to fail resistance test, indicating low resistance to ground. Indoor coil is starting to show major rust and deterioration. We can provided estimate to replace these both items. I would recommend getting an estimate to replace system. Office to follow up with customer.

Fully assessed situation. Found that after getting up on ladder and getting close to the dark spot found it to be only dirt and dust in a Cobb web not attached to the wall at all. Wipped down dirt and dust. Also found streaking down the wall which is directly in line with an outside gable vent. Possibly from ran water when the wind is blowing the rain sideways. They are going to get someone to come out to look at upgrading there gable vents. No further issues at this time.

Arrived for no heat found an error code for EE2 for open pressure switch . I did find moisture in the tube which will trip out the water switch . I checked all my drainage and its all pitched . Once I cleared the tubing for the pressure switch the system has been running like normal and running a full cycle. This is a chargeable call collected for clearing the switch and diagnostics.

Perform quality assurance on recently install unit went over settings electrical connections, indoor outdoor inspect safeties ok check airflows return and supplies check thermostat settings currently has a nest thermostat. Provide information about ecobee smart thermostat and also provided an estimate. Customer approved. Replacement of new thermostat. Set up programming on thermostat to two stage heat pump to stage electric heat. Locking out electric heat at 40°. Minimum on 20 mins for compressor. Set up thermostat on customer‘s phone and went over operation.

Upon arrival, I performed quality assurance on new installation. Check static pressure and temperature differentials. Checked electrical connections and insured penetrations were sealed. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures. Changed settings on thermostat to read from room sensor at homeowners request. Pressures and temperatures are appropriate at this time.

Performed precision a/c tune up on Goodman a/c system. Replaced 14x25x1 air filter. Checked all electrical conections and components. Checked temperatures supply and return ok flush drain line and trap ok. Unit does not have drain protection. Check outdoor unit refrigerant levels and pressures ok. Capacitor and contactor ok. Provided estimate to repair low voltage wiring on outdoor unit. Customer passed in this recommendation for now. Unit is from 2012 would recommend getting an estimate to upgrade system. Customer will call office if interested in new system. Noticed water heater is from 2012 and has failed expansion tank provided estimate for repairs.

Reviewed areas of insulation that were disturbed by mold contractors. Created and email estimate to add more insulation and replace the bath fans with insulated flex duct.

Customer had an issue with the oil boiler talk to customer. Upon arrival issue was registering on the board. It looked like it was a communication error potentially from memory card. Went through relearn process so memory cards are realigned. Check operation of boiler ok system came on all the times. If issue comes back new memory cards will be needed. During same visit check mom’s heat pump. Went trough settings on thermostat noticed that the heat pump was not set up correctly on balance points. Chris decided to set 35° 40 degrees balance point for the heat pump. Also hydronic coil is using for back up heat, locked out emergency heat to 40 degrees and set to not run together per customer request. Cycle heat pump ok check refrigerant pressures and levels using Bosch control module. All numbers look good.

Perform AC tuneup on 4 ton daiken ac unit, check electrical connections, low and high voltages inspect air filter 20 x 25 x 1 check condensate drain add tabs to the pump. Check supply and return air temperatures took photos of indoor coil. Check outdoor unit refrigerant levels, capacitors and contactor ok. Cycle ac unit ok inform customer about not having water protection and bacteria protection, this can be install for extra safety protection. Left estimate for recommendations. Also provided estimate to install soft start components for outdoor unit.
