I Arrived to the customers home for a heat pump check up on a 2 yr old system . I checked all electrical connections and voltages . I checked the air filter and found good , filter size is a 413 Inspected the indoor coil and tested electric heat package. Took temp splits for the electric heat and blower motor amperage draws. I looked at the outdoor heat pump and tested for an outdoor btu output. Inspected the outdoor components and unit pressures. Everything is working fine at this time of service. I collected for $89.00 one time heat check up . I did leave a few electric water heater options for the customer to review.

Assessment of system for home

Removed old inducer motor and hot surface igniter. Removed old fiberglass gasket and installed new gasket. Installed new inducer motor and hot surface igniter. Tested operation. Checked temperature rise and performed combustion test. Gas furnace is working at time of service.

Make duct modifications to basement to add some air to the basemnet zone for conditioning. It is recommended to install a ductless unit for the space based on the size and goals. Duct Modifications to Basement Zone Office Side - Remove 2 flex duct runs feeding first and second floor running through basement. - Replace run with 6" metal pipe up to point there unit comes through the wall and connects to boot. - Install a tee in run feeding first floor (directly over bed) and face tee down to add air to the space. - Install a damper in tee on side feeding first floor to adjust and push more air as needed to basement zone. - Install 6" Imperial round diffuser to fit into tee. TV Room Side - Install a 6" top takeoff on supply run feeding first floor zone. - Run new black flex R4 around 10' and install 8x8x6 outlet box in ceiling and connect. - Install a 8x8 aluminum diffuser onto outlet box. - Cut an opening in return air drop towards lower side and install 6x12 return air g

Fully assessed no heating situation. There were (2) other contractors that had already been here. Found heat exchanger is plugged up with soot from not burning correctly. Found furnace locked and tagged out. Also found gas line disconnected and plugged up. Heat exchanger and burners both need replaced. Our office to provide estimate. Also recommend to homeowner to replace gas furnace. Customer drained down all the water in the home. No heat at this time.

Fully assessed no heating situation. Neighbor came over and took out broken igniter. Found after powering up furnace inducer motor was also locked up can’t test anything else. Provided estimate to replace igniter and inducer motor assembly. Highly recommended replacement of entire system. System is down at this time. Homeowner is going to call us in the morning with their decision,

Luis 1-8-26 performed heat pump heat maintenance on 10 year old Amana heat pump, I changed the filter. Checked electrical and wiring and emergency heat kit. Checked blower motor and assembly. Checked temperature rise ok Inspected coils. Checked fan motor and assembly. Checked refrigerant pressures. Forced unit into defrost. Unit is in normal operation at this time. Cycle heat pump ok. Customer paid for service plan renewal

Reviewed project with Matt. Looking to replace 2 ducts in basement with hard pipe 6 inch and add a tee in one run to condition basement. Also looking to add another supply in main area, need top takeoff , 6 inch flex and 8x8x6 box with grill. Add return grill 6x12 to drop.
