Fully assessed no cooling situation. Took photos of error code. Found system only had a 10 degree air split once I reset. Hooked up refrigerant gauges and found self contained geothermal low on 410 a. Refrigerant pressures were 203/81. Added 1lb 6ozs and performed electronic leak search over system, did not locate leak. Checked shrader valves the were fine. Did not add leak dye in case it would void warranty. Refrigerant pressures are now 346/137 with 20 degree air split. Will let the office know my findings and check with warranty with the distributor geo was installed 1/24/25. System is cooling at this time.

Found boiler that was locked out on E40 error code which after calling tech support can ether be a gas leak, leak in the venting inside the cabinet or a possible faulty sensor. Checked for gas leaks with soap bubbles on all of gas line, found no gas leaks. Used soap bubbles on exhaust fittings found none. Need to order leak sensor and will need to return with smoke pen to test inside cabinet. Boiler is working at time.

6-27-25 Luis return visit to install new indoor control board test operation ok cool and heat unit came on normal. Cycle ac ok.

Luis 6-27-25 Customer called in for no cool air coming out of the vents. Check indoor blower getting voltage blower trying to start but won’t fully engage, check capacitor and found capacitor reading 0 mfd and oil leaking, provided estimate to replace capacitor and test operation, customer decided he will do it himself. Customer will take care of repair.

Fully assessed sweating situation. Found supply plenum not sealed and creating condensation. Caulked and sealed around plenum. Tapped back seam. Also found humidity in basement is 57% suggested buying a dehumidifier to remove humidity. No charge due to not sealing during installation.

Upon arrival I found relay on control board was not staying energized for cooling. Hardwired high speed on fan and disconnected all fan speed wires. System is operational at this time until we are able to replace control board or system.

Customer called in for not enough cooling. (Physical Therapy). There are three units for this area. Did not check any of the other three we only concentrated on #5. Found blower running but no outside. Found tripped 30 amp breaker. Reset breaker and noticed compressor would not come on pulling 80 amp tripping breaker. Used super boost but compressor still did not response. Unit is from 2001 and refrigerant was converted from r22 to 438a. We will have to replace outside compressor and replace indoor txv to 410a. (We will need to verify availability for the 410a systems) if we can’t get this equipment full system, will need to replace. Would recommend getting an estimate to update full system.

Upon arrival, I performed maintenance on AC system. Changed air filter. Inspected evaporator coil and drain pan. Cleared and tested drain line. Inspected blower assembly and electrical connections. Cycled system in cooling and checked static pressure and temperature differentials. Proceeded to outdoor unit. Inspected outdoor coil and condenser fan. Checked electrical connections and components on outdoor unit. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures. System is operating appropriately at this time.

Checked the AC side of the system . Checked the air filter and found good , I left a filter on hand . Checked the wiring connections and the voltages on high volt and low volt. Inspected the indoor coil and flushed and tested the drain line. Checked the blower condition and inspected the blower amps and tested for static pressure. Went to the outdoor unit and inspected the wiring connections and the components . Checked and tested the pressures by using superheat and sub cooling methods. Checked the amps for the compressor and the fan motor and checked the indoor cooling temps at the supply and return. The AC system is working fine at this time of service.
