Completed (2) AC tune ups for 1st Floor system 4 Ton Amana communicating 2stage AC system 2nd Floor system 3 Ton Amana AC (Non communicating) Both systems were installed April 2021 Replaced 16x25x1 filter Replaced 16x20x1 filter Both very dirty last replaced in October. I recommend replacing every 2 months For each system: Indoor and outdoor coils in good condition; cleaned back side of 2nd floor outdoor coil with water Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components; left estimates for surge protectors again. Homeowner agreed. Installed surge protectors at the (3) ciruits of the 2 systems that did not have surge protectors. (1) At second floor outdoor equipment and (1) at each of the 2 indoor blower motors. Tested afterwards. 5/28/26 Dan I arrived for a no Cooling call on a 8 yr old Bryant system. I started with inspecting the indoor unit. I confirmed that the filter was ok , but I had no power. I lost communication to the thermostats and the indoor unit. Found indoor fuse was blown . Before replacing the fuse I wanted to go outside and look at the contactor to make sure it’s not shorted and or there’s no wires that are touching, causing a short. I found the outdoor contactor was indeed shorted , had 3.4 ohms at the coil. I did quote the customer for a new contactor and a diagnostic fee This is not a recall Or warranty. The customer agreed with the repair. I removed the fail, contactor and replaced with the new OEM contactor and then tested system operation. Everything is back up and running I collected for $419.33 paid by credit card.

Powering the panel from a separate transformer is preferred. Replaced 20x25x filter Inspected heat exchanger, burners, flue pipe, inducer assembly and hoses Burner compartment and burners are rusted. Including the backside of burners. Found failed gas valve at 60,000 BTU natural gas furnace. Offered to replace along with plan membership. System and house from 2018 but equipment was never registered for extended 10 year parts warranty, so valve not covered under warranty. Replaced White Rodger’s gas valve, set gas pressure and tested system today. Checked for gas leaks at furnace from shut off valve to new gas valve.
