Estimate

Arrived at the customers home , he said he’s getting airflow to the first floor amd the basement zone , but nothing on the second floor. The Customer has a zoning system on his furnace. I tested all three zones the first floor and basement zone work fine but the second floor zone is not lit up and is staying closed with a call for cooling . I checked my voltage to the damper and It’s getting a call. I forced the damper open for the meantime to get air up to the second floor customer will need a new zone damper . The size is 24 x 10. The motor is on 10 side. We will need to get pricing and availability for the customer, but the customer does have cooling now in the second floor, but will need the zone to work properly collected for my diagnostic for 149 paid by credit card.

Completed AC tune up for 3.5 Ton Goodman AC system Replaced 16x25x1 filter Indoor and outdoor coils in good condition Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components; left estimates for surge protectors Measured temperature split and static pressure Inspected drains; added treatment tabs to drain pan. There is no drain safety. Left estimate for drain pan safety switch. Left estimate for wet switch, which will shut system down if water is detected in equipment pan. Checked integrity of compressor motor (mega ohm test) Assessed refrigerant charge checked pressures. AC system operating well at this time.

Installed new trane airhandler and heat pump outdoor. Reused return and adapted supply. Tapped/ caulked return and supply. Adapted high volt and installed new heat kit. Ran new condensate line with ez trap and condensate pump. Ran new vinyl from condensate pump to outside. Installed new thermostat and wired in low volt with safeties. Ran new line set and connected to new equipment. Installed new heat pump on leveled pad and snow legs. Installed new disconnect with surge protector and wired into outdoor unit. Cleaned up work area tested out equipment. Unable to install blower surge protector due to it not fitting

Return visit to perform quality assurance on recently installed Bosch package heat pump, and also replaced disconnect for 7.5 kw electric heat package remove 60 amp disconnect and install 100 amp outdoor disconnect with breaker. Test operation ok sealed new disconnect with waterproofing silicone. Test heat pump operation, test back up heater ok. System, passed inspection.

I arrived to the customer’s home for no cooling. Checked the indoor unit coil looks good. Blower is fine. Did replace air filter supplied by customer. I went to the outdoor unit found outdoor door capacitor has failed. I quoted a customer for a new capacitor. He approved the price. He also found a $35 coupon online on our site. I removed the old capacitor replaced it with the new turned the system back on and tested system operation. Everything is back up and running at this time of service collected for the repair and diagnostic.

I arrived to the customers home to look over her system. We were here a few days ago for maintenance. I checked the upstairs air filter found good. I turned the AC on. I had good pressures and good temp splits found my second floor zone was off and was reading 80°. I asked the customer if she wanted this thermostat on and she said yes I said it at 76 for downstairs is at 74 and satisfied the system is working perfectly fine. No issues at this time no charge since we’re here for the maintenance two days ago.

Upon arrival I found thermostat was blank for main system. Found wet switch was tripped in basement due to ductwork condensating. Reset switch and cycled system. Had homeowner set up dehumidifier. cleared and tested drain lines. System is operating appropriately at this time.

I arrived for an AC check up $89. In your unit checks out found out their unit. Compressor has failed has a bad winding a mega on the unit and it all came back bad on all three leads on the compressor itself. I contacted the office. Tony is scheduled for an estimate later today in the afternoon I did collect for $89.00 . Customer system is down at this time of service.
