I arrived for a no Cooling call on a York 28 yr old heat pump system. I started with inspecting the indoor unit. I confirmed that the filter was ok, made sure the blower motor runs , and that the indoor coil was free of ice or debri. I went to the outdoor unit and inspected the system components and made sure the system has pressure. It had a failed capacitor. Joseph approved the repair to get the unit back up and running. Joseph is also aware that somebody will reach out to him to schedule an estimate or talk about an estimate for the heat pump. I removed the failed capacitor and replaced with the new OEM capacitor. We turn the system back on and tested pressures look fine. AC is back up and on . The system is 28 years old and should be replaced very soon. I collected for $447.80 paid by check number 2728.

5/20/26. Fully assessed intermittent no cooling issue on recently installed trane a/c system. Looked over all low voltage wiring at outdoor and indoor units. Made sure all connections were good inside wire nut connections. Checked over the Manuel’s to make sure all was correct, everything was wired correctly. Found a that water was dripping from the front corner of the air handler on the coil side. Opened up air handler cabinet and found the condensation was dripping out the drain pan at this corner of the pan and the air handler was not level. Found the water was up to the midigation sensor, found online that this can cause false refrigerant leak on the the sensor and shut off the outside unit and the indoor will continue to run. This is what Barbara described was happening. The air handler should stay running but not the outside unit. Re leveled the air handler by adjusting the all thread and unistrut. Issue is outdoor unit occasionally not coming on.
The thermostat was satisfied when I arrived.

After digging through found the “Y” conductor to the outdoor not truly connected or twisted around the unit “y” and “o”
Re did this connection with a WAGO wiring connector
Also adjusted fan speed to target 3.5 Tons capacity 411CFM per ton or 1438 CFM.
Charged system refrigerant to match target Subcooling.

System operating well at this time.

Lead was great but one of the support crew was very concerning to my wife - she found him snooping around the house in areas he didn’t belong on his phone which he quickly put away when she confronted him. Also job incomplete as told a board on the furnace you installed was bad and they didn’t notice until end of day so could not operate the AC unit which was our primary reason for the replacement as other worked fine…

Dillon was great to work with on helping us select the best deal for our new HVAC System! He was very professional from the moment I opened the door to let him in . He presented the options with lots of excellent knowledge and helped us understand what each possible Systems pros and cons between efficiency, pricing and parts used or needed for installation. He kept our budget in mind and stayed well within to keep the stress level down for the big purchase With NO hidden installation up selling like almost every other company tries . It was a great time working with Dillon and I highly recommend Dillon and his installation crew with DiBiase all day everyday to anyone that is in need of a new house HVAC system. Outstanding tech/sales rep in Tony; good pricing; convenient installation date; flexible financing options. Installation team led by Luke was great: on time, courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and hard working. Everything went like clockwork. I commend ownership for assembling a top-flight workforce and for establishing a culture of excellence. Tan provided thorough post-installation follow up inspection and was informative and helpful. All company personnel are on time, are courteous and are good communicators. Overall, great customer service. I recommend DiBiase without reservation. Kurt diagnosed our thermostat problem and installed a new unit. As with other DiBiase techs, he was prompt, courtesy, knowledgeable and efficient. Kurt synched the replacement thermostat to our wi-fi and provided useful information on temp and fan settings. We are very pleased with this service and highly recommend Kurt and company. Technician Barry diagnosed and corrected a sensor problem and the heating function appears to be operating properly at this time. According to the neighbor on site, he was very professional and informative. We will continue to monitor the 6-month old system. Tech Barry returned twice to make adjustments and repairs to our Trane unit. He followed up to check that controls were properly configured. In both instances he was professional, polite and determined to make needed corrections. He conducted a thorough and detailed analysis. Barrys work ethic is commendable. We will be evaluating the effectiveness of our 6-month old system over the coming winter days. Kurt made adjustments to the thermostat and outdoor sensors. As with other Dibiase techs, he was prompt, professional and personable. Kurt conducted a comprehensive assessment of our system and helped us understand how thermostat settings impact the heating function. May 2026; first hot spell of season; AC not working. Tech Dan diagnosed issue, replaced fuse, and reconfigured cramped, twisted wiring. AC resumed working. Abrupt weather change has temporarily eliminated need for AC so further tests of system will have to wait until hot temps return. Dan provided excellent customer service, as we are accustomed to with DiBiase.
