They had turned off the breaker when they saw water on the floor. I checked for any open safeties and pressure switches. All switches closed. O fault codes on control board. I turned breaker back on. I did have to peas the “TEST”; button to get 24V to contactor. But afterwards I cycled system back off and on from thermostat. I tested pump and added some treatment tabs to pump. Temperature split 20° (81-61) Charged diagnostic fee

System was very low on refrigerant. 5 Ton Coleman AC outdoor unit installed 7/29/23 with indoor coil that was installed 4/9/25. The evaporator door label is from the old R22 coil. I took a photo of the sticker on the actual Aplate of the new coil. Lineset 1 1/8” suction, 55-60’ Running at 61 psi. Found leak at braised joint, suction line service valve. Offered to isolate outdoor unit unsling service valves, recover, fix leak while purging with nitrogen, pressure test, evacuate, Then open service valves and charge system. Completed work as above. Pressure test held 300 psi for 15 min after. Bubble tested new joint and all joints. Evacuated to 495 microns. Opened service valves, Charged system. Final pressures 134/300 12.5° SH 11° SC. Final temperature split measured at equipment. 78-60=18° Perfect. System operating well at this time. Took photos and dimensions of funace 21” wide, 28” deep 34 1/4” tall. On 1 3/4” cinder block. Condensate pump with safety. No wet switch, 90% Reuse

Found L6 error code at outdoor unit. Open start winding. Checked wiring harness. Checked compressor ohm values between windings. Megaohm test Pass. 35uF capacitor was reading out of tolerance. 38.8uF Adding a start kit or capacitor alone did not resolve issue. Need both start kit and new capacitor which is covered under parts warranty. Afterwards tested system operations: Ran system for 15 min. Pressures were 124/249 33SH -.03 SC… Temperature split was 12° (78-66) system is low on refrigerant. There are no leaks at brazed joints. Offers to charge system up to 2 pounds R410A and add a leak detection dye. He agreed. Charged and added dye today. Final pressures 132/263 10.6 SH 3.3 SC Good Final temperature split 76-55 = 21° Good System operating well at this time. Now had refrigerant leak detection dye which will help us determine where leaks are. Ben paid for invoice today.

7/9/25 Tan and Nathan Returned to fix recessed ceiling light fixture back into place. Used a giant 20ft A-frame ladder and placed light fixture back into place. Light is secure and does not slip out. I have had a Geothermal system for over 10 years installed by another company with which I had a lot of issues.. The system stopped working this week with no power at the compressor. I called DiBiase to take a look to help me out. Kurt methodically tracked it down step by step and I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. Each step of the process was explained clearly as to why and how. He quickly found the issue and repaired it. I couldn't be happier and have already recommended DiBiase. Finding qualified and honest people these days is becoming more difficult all the time. I feel like I have found a diamond in the rough. Highly recommend.
Hey there! Thank you so much for the thoughtful and detailed review! We're thrilled to hear Kurt was able to get to the bottom of the issue and restore your system with professionalism and care. It means a lot that you’ve already recommended us—our team works hard to earn that trust. We're grateful you found us and look forward to being your go-to HVAC team moving forward!

Fully assessed no cooling situation. Homeowner had a power surge the a few days later system quit working. Found 240 v going to 75 va transformer but no 24 v coming out. System is a split climate master geothermal. Replaced transformer with 50 va for now. Customer signed up for maintenance plan. Will need to return with correct 75 Va transformer and install at maintenance visit. After replacing transformer tested out system air temperature split was 20 degrees. System is working properly at time of service.

Minsiplit comdensate pump not keeping up. I took every apart and cleaned pump. Then tested. There is 3/8” vinyl tubing outside from a previously used low profile pump n opposite side of wall from Minisplit. Accessible by grate in ceiling. If issue with pump leaking happens again I have estimate to add new 120V condensate pump in a pan with 9V water alarm. Adapt minisplit tubing to 3/4” PVC and discharge to outside by either reusing abandoned 3/8” vinyl or using new. If issue with water leaking onto floor happens again we need to go forward with this.

Inspected control board and OVC switch which is compressor overload switch. It is reading less than 1 ohm which means it’s good according to Trane diagnostics troubleshooting. I started system and what I noticed is after about 2.5 minutes run time the unit Cur off the outdoor fan. Head pressure rose to 530+ and suction pressure also high 191! It had all the signs of being overcharged or having compressor or temp sensor issues. I recovered refrigerant and tested system again. And pressures were ok. Temperature split 78-54 at each indoor head. At the. Of my time on the job compressor made loud noises and unit shut off. Started running again 5 min later. No error codes on outdoor control. We will provide system upgrade. Management will have to come to assess and provide quote. We will have to reuse refrigerant piping. I informed Mike.
