Found 3 Ton R410A heat pump with failed indoor blower motor. It is a variable speed blower motor. Contacted Ferguson for prove and availability Found compressor not starting Turbo capacitor wired for 45/5 Good Outdoor unit Needs hard start kit and contactor. Condensate pump in attic needs to be inside a pan with its own water safety shut off. This is included in the estimate labeled Mandatory repairs. *System is well beyond the lifespan for heat pump system. Dates to 2006 would not recommend spend any money on repairs. I’m nice we get system running there may be additional issues IE refrigerant undercharge. System is down until repairs are made. Gary decided he wants a consultation for system upgrade. Consultation set up for 12-1PM today.

Arrived at call for comfort issue, went to boiler and checked all settings, parameters, and reading kn boiler. Noticed the outdoor temperature was off by about 5 degrees from the actual temperature. There is a setting on the boiler to adjust temperature plus or minus 5 degrees so I set it to read 5 degrees below and the boiler immediately ramped up to satisfy, performed combustion analysis and checked over entire system to ensure no other issues were present. Told customer to monitor system overnight and if it still didn't satisfy we would have to replace sensor. House is very old and had one foot thick stone walls, older system in house had cast iron radiators but now has slant fin bas boards when it was renovated.
