Job Locations and Reviews
Fully assessed heat pump not heating correctly. Found system only had a 5 degree temperature rise. Checked 410a refrigerant pressures they were 285/135, very high suction pressure. Found failed outdoor txv. Need to provide estimate to replace outdoor txv. Let tennet know if heat pump stops working to switch to emergency heat. Our office to follow up with repair estimate.
Found wiring shorted together causing blower to constantly run. From the install of the system by another company the low voltage wiring was very sloppy. Replaced 10 ft section of thermostat wiring between thermostat and air handler and also fixed and cleaned up terrible junction on the roof. Changed some colors of the wiring due to being shorted together tested operation. Heat pump is working properly at time of service.
Estimate
Fully assessed no heating situation on Lennox heat pump with hot water coil heated by system 2000 gas gun boiler. Found this heat pump system heats the master bedroom. Found cold air blowing out the vents and system was calling for heat pump. Found 2021 Lennox heat pump locked out on low pressure. Put gauges on the system and found it to be completely flat on charge. Gave her a price to do a nitrogen leak search on system but also told her to check in with installing contractor for any warranty with them. Switched thermostat to aux and master bedroom is now heating with hot water coil. Did not see any oil at evaporator coil. Outside unit is covered in ice and snow not a good time to do a leak search. System is running on back up heat. Other company on their service record replaced txv valves several times.
Fully assessed humidity situation. Found humidifier was wired to thermostat correctly but was not putting out enough water flow from old valve to increase humidity. Need to return with new 3/4” shark bite valve and various propress fittings to remove old soldier 3/4” copper tee took photos. Need to look into install if new valve was included or not.
Fully assessed heating situation. Checked temperature rise at air handler it was 16 degrees. Checked 410a refrigerant pressures they were 276/71 very good. System is maintaining 74 degrees in the apartment. Tested defrost operation on the roof, worked fine. Suggested to tenants that since it’s on the outside wall it will be several degrees cooler. Suggested adding a space heater just for the front rooms. Heat pump is working properly at time of service.
Fully assessed heat pump. Found system set to 75° indoor temperature and thermostat was at 74°. Turn the system down to 74 and 74 and system shut off appropriately. Check temperature rise on heat pump. Temperature rise was 15° at. 31 degrees outside temp. Tennet is trying to maintain 80 degrees all year long, this is not possible with a heat pump system. Went upstairs on rooftop and checked 410a refrigarant pressures they were 322/64 very good. Heat pump system is working properly at time of service, no ice build up on outside coil which was original call, defrost is working properly.
Excellent speedy and courteous
Luis 12-14-25 customer called in for no heat. Error code pressure switch. Check system operation and found no propane, customer has two 420 tanks. One tanks was closed reading 80% other tank was empty I open up other tank, customer will call propane company to get delivery so both tanks are fill. Ther will be a charge for today’s visit non related to installation.
I arrived to the customers home to replace there failed PRV at the main . I shut the order off to the house. I removed the failed PRV and replaced with the new OEM Prv . Checked for water leaks and checked pressure at incoming house pressure valve is holding at 50 psi . I collected for $499.23 balance paid by cc.
Rebuild boiler 80% ignition Luis 12-12-25 I went over system replacement option with customer and we came to a conclusion that new boiler will be the best idea. I called Joe while on site. He email estimate that included new circulation pump and an air vent. Customer sign contract online and will contact Joe for the next step. No repairs were made during today’s visit.
