Job Locations and Reviews

Spoke with Bob on arrival who indicated unit was not keeping up consistently on hot days and temperature would climb during the day until is was up in the 80s. Walked the home, the unit installed is for the 2nd floor only. Reviewed installation and inspected ductwork for leakage. Old ducts are not sealed, it is recommended to seal ductwork but this is not related to problem. Inspected wiring and found unit wired as 2 stage and outdoor unit is a single stage unit. Rewired to jump Y1 and Y2 together as recommended in installation manual. Checked dipswitches to ensure airflow is setup properly, set to 390 cfm/ton and set to 2 ton. There was no signs of condensation in pan or around drain line but trap is not insulated. Turned system on and checked system charge and delta across coil. Superheat at 18 degf and subcooling at 8 degf and delta T at 18 degf. System is working properly at this time. It was 75 degf outside so there were no signs of a problem. Instructed Bob to call me

Installed new unico system with trane A/C outdoor. Placed unit in existing condensate pan and reused existing wet switch.Adapted return and supply. Tapped/caulked return and supply. Insulated return and supply ductwork. Adapted high volt and installed new 240v switch. Adapted condensate line and installed new ez trap. Reused existing thermostat and wired in low volt with safeties. Flushed line set and connected to new equipment. Installed new A/C outdoor on leveled pad. Installed new disconnect with surge protector and wired into outdoor unit. Cleaned up work area and tested out equipment. Unable to fit blower surge protector on unico system.
Nate is punctual, knowledgeable, highly professional, and describes what he is doing so the homeowner fully understands. Great job!

Install is complete and all issues have been resolved . There is alittle drop of water that triggered the wet switch . I put wet switch on islolation pad to rise up a bit and reset. System is running to standards

Reviewed jobsite and discussed projects regarding attic insulation, ventilation, and conditioning. Also, looked at releveling outdoor Trane unit and servicing Trane system.
Nate is thorough, knowledgeable, courteous, prompt, and highly professional. He does an excellent job of explaining how the equipment works. Highly recommended!

Upon arrival, found two dampers closed on duct work may have been bumped during the install not really too sure, I opened. Checked system check charge check temperature checked wiring checked all DIP switch settings and thermostat settings. System is set to manufacturer specifications at this time.
AC went out Sunday. Callled DiBiase and within a few hours their technician Barry showed up. He diagnosed the problem quickly and restored our AC.

Found failed dual run capacitor at outdoor unit causing outdoor fan not to run. Offered 2 options for repairs to outdoor unit: (1) Replace failed capacitor (2) Replace failed capacitor and replace hard start kit Also left estimate for plan membership. 20x20x1 filter ok Megaohm test (indicates integrity of compressor motor): Pass R22 Refrigerant diagnostics: Ok Temperature split 82°-63°=19° Good There is a wet switch in equipment pan but there is not an EZ trap. Left email estimate for EZ trap. System operating ok. I had conversation about age of equipment condition of indoor coil. If a major repair is needed it will be very costly. Recommend upgrading system. Homeowner paid for diagnostic fee and replace capacitor today.

Found System coil pan, not sitting properly along with the fact that the wire was in front of the outlet drain and blocking the water. The pan overflowed and caused water in the safety pan and the wet switch shut the system down, repositioned the coil, drain and wiring to not block, flow of water along with made repairs on the supply and return Plenum due to poor installation practices. It was a horrible install.

Set new unit in new auxiliary drain pan. Adapted to supply and return ducts. Adapted to lineset. Adapted to existing gravity drain. Made all high and low voltage connections to unit wiring all safeties to break 24v r call to thermostat. Set new unit on new pad and snow legs and leveled. Hung new disconnect box and sealed to wall. Adapted to lineset. Brazed pressure tested evacuated and charged system. Made all high and low voltage connections to unit. Performed all test out procedures cleaned all work areas and reviewed installation with homeowner.

Estimate

6-12-25 Luis customer called it for a second opinion AC not cooling properly. Customer has two high velocity systems one in the basement and one and the third floor. The third floor is the one having issues. Found system running upon arrival unit not cooling. Inspect coils indoor and outdoor. I found outdoor coil leaking on bottom circuit. Indoor coil has some rust and corrosion, some oil around drain. On outside coil you could hear refrigerant leaking, provided estimate to replace coil. Would recommend getting and estimate to replace system. Home comfort consultant to come out tomorrow afternoon between 2 and 4 PM.
