Fully assessed whistling noise coming from gas furnace. Gave system a call for cooling, turned thermostat way down and let it run. Checked over joints and connections on duct work for the most part everything is sealed. Let fan ramp up but did not hear any whistling . Explained to homeowner that if they can pin point the spot they could just take silver tape and seal it. System is cooling properly at time of service.
He stuck with it to resolve the issue.

Customer called in for no cooling. After taking to customer issue is outside. Control board shows ON idle. Indoor unit shows AC2 calling for cool. Indoor unit is not reading outdoor ac. Reset power and still did not connect to outdoor. I upload latest software on indoor unit. Still same results. No blinking light on outdoor unit. I was able to reset control board by holding manual buttons. Manual test mode. After Manual testing unit came on. Indoor unit was registering c1 can’t communicate with outside unit. I check wiring I replace blue wire nuts to assure good connections. (One of the connections was fully attached) unit work fine after adjustments. Customer will call us back for any update.

Luis 7-28-25 customer called in for no cooling on second floor system Armstrong gas heater, indoor blower does not run, outdoor condenser runs. Found system off upon arrival. Test system operation found blower motor does not spin, check high voltage to motor, and check motor windings. Found resistor to be at fault. New blower motor is needed. Provided estimate for repairs. Unit is from 2014 suggested to get an estimate to replace system customer declined system replacement option. Customer approved Replacement of indoor blower motor. New module and motor. Installation of Ecm surge protector And service plan for both units. Two LP gas heaters and two ac units. I was able to get blower running for now. We will order parts and get back to customer once we get them from manufacturer.

L6 error code at outdoor control. Open start winding Found failed dual run capacitor at outdoor unit. Reading 0 uF. Also checked microfarad reading of KS1 start kit 272uF Good Offered to replace under Amanda parts warranty. Discussed plan renewal. Jai agreed. Replaced 35/5uF dual capacitor at outdoor unit. Completed AC tune up Aprilaire 413 filter needs to be replaced soon. I didn’t have one on truck to offer. Jai will buy and replace soon. Indoor and outdoor coils in good condition Inspected wiring, contros, and electric motors. Measured temperature split (78.4-56.8) and static pressure. Cleared EZ trap flushed drain and tested pump. Verified refrigerant charge/pressures Verified integrity of compressor motor. System operating well at this time. At the end I offered to install surge protector for indoor equipment circuit. Jai agreed. Completed work and processed separate payment for this. Both circuits of the HVAC equipment now have surge protection.

System was running when I anrrive and Dan said it had cooled a few degrees. They said around 1PM they noticed air was moving but was warm. There was a five yellow flash on coresense module. Either and interruption of the indoor blower or TXV/refrigerant issue. I flushed drain with 1.5 gallons water. Made sure flow was good to pump on basement. Cleaned outdoor coil with nearby hose bib. 2 sections had a lot of debris. Offers Hard start assist kit for outdoor unit. Pressures and temperature split were good when I arrived. Paid for diagnostic fee and T05 hard start today.

I arrived to check on a sunroom system , a rheem split system. I checked both return air filters and they were fine. I checked the blower condition . The coil you cannot gain access, un cased coil . I went to the outdoor unit checked my pressures by using super heat sub cool found system is slightly low and running in efficiently but is cooling the space. My recommendation is replacing the system. It’s 19 years old and a R 22 system. The customer declined an estimate at this time . They are in the process of having a Geo system put in. I collected for my diagnostic paid by credit card.
Great response

No AC issue where indoor fan run but not outdoor equipment. He said he turns indoor equipment off and back on last night. First went to outdoor control. 0 active error codes. Error code history has a few different error codes but none active. Noticed backside of outdoor coil was dirty. Cleaned with nearby hose, Reset power to outdoor unit, Started system and checked refrigerant pressures: Good. Checked temperature split 78-59=19° Good Based on the fact that there are no active error codes on either of the 2 control boards and that diagnostics are good: This was a nuisance communication error. I showed Luis how to reset both the “ Air conditioning” breaker (top left of panel) AND the “Heater” breaker 20A single pole tandem breaker), I took a photo of breaker in the panel with these breaker highlighted.

7/23/25 I arrived to replace the customer’s blower motor. I removed the blower housing and then remove the motor from the wheel. I removed the motor bracket and placed onto the new motor. I put the new motor back into the blower wheel section and then mounted blower housing back into the unit wired motor back in add a surge protection for the motor turned the system on and tested. Everything is back up and running at this time of service collected for balance paid by credit card.

7/17/25 Dan R I arrived to the customers home to remove locking caps off of a Lennox outdoor unit. Took a few hours to remove the locking caps. Once the locking caps were removed i got set up to charge the system. I took an indoor wet bulb indoor return temps and outdoor temps to get calculated superheat. I looked at the coil and the air filter before charging the system. I added 3 pounds of 410 a refrigerant to the system for proper system operation I collected for the charging of the system and two hours of labor charges. Collected for 1,083.88 for today’s service paid by credit card.

Checked the AC side of the systems. Checked all the air filters and replaced if needed . The customer will replace the 1st floor filter . I checked all electrical wiring and voltages. Checked the indoor coils and inspected the drain pans . The condensate drains on all units were water tested and cleared. Inspected the condensate pumps. On both 1st and 2nd floor systems. Checked all the blower operations and amps. Inspected the outdoor unit coils and inspected the wiring connections and voltages for all units . Tested the pressures by using superheat and subcool methods and checked the amps for the compressor in the fan motors on all units . Checked the indoor cooling temps at the supplies and returns for both systems . Both AC units are working fine at this time of service .
It was a pleasure meeting Joe DiBiase, the owner of the company. He is very nice and conscientious, and he spent a couple of hours doing different things to resolve the issue I was having with my air conditioner. I would highly recommend his company.
Kurt was very nice and arrived on time. He was very professional and completed the job in a timely manner.
The three young men who did my HVAC installation were very nice and professional. They used drop cloths to protect the floors and carpet so that no mess was left behind. And they we're very careful when bringing equipment into and out of the house. Also, Tony Fiore, who is my sales rep, has been very good at communicating with me when I've had questions. He promptly returns calls and text messages.
