Luis 2-9-26 customer called in for no heat, Lennox heater LP from 2023. Found condensation pump running non stop. Check drain termination and found it goes outside solid frozen. I provided estimate to run new vinyl tubing to inside house location. Customer approved repairs. After running vinyl tubing test system operation ok. Test condensation pump ok. Customer stated they had issues before she can’t remember what kind of issues.
Luis 2-8-26 check no heat complaint, found heater running upon arrival. Check system operation, I used control board to search for older codes. Found code 2 retry and recycle. I inspected burners, some of the burners are back firing, this is why unit would not ignite sometimes, I would recommend replacement of system. For customer request she would like to use the heat pump for now until she decides what’s she’s gonna do. We disable the heater and run heat pump all the time. Tony to follow up with customer sometime tomorrow. No charge for today warranty.
Luis 2-8-26 customer called in for no heat, propane gas heater found unit locked out on pressure switch, found inducer full of water. I check entire heater system, heater system is in bad shape. Ignition components rusted. Heat exchanger is leaking water. Heater would not ignite due to ignition issues. Only option I have for customer is to either rebuild the heater 100% or system replacement. Customer has Tony’s contact information. I will talk to Tony about this location and he will need to follow up with customer. Final professional recommendation is to upgrade system. Customer agree that he’s gonna go with a new system

Luis 2-7-26 customer called in for no heat, found heater running upon arrival customer just replaced filter, customer also stated unit has giving pressure strict issue. I check entire system. Check air delivery system, ignition system, and combustion removal. During troubleshooting I noticed a big spit on heat exchanger, I took photos of split. I talked to homeowner about issue, this is a major issue that needs to address as soon as possible. I did. Performed combustion test and results are ok. I also Informed customer about the risk abut crack heat exchanger, exhaust gases could lean into home. I red tagged heater and from now on it will be customer responsibility if he decides to continue running the heater under circumstances. I provided estimate for repairs. I would also recommend getting an estimate to replace system. Customer signed up for service plan. During today’s visit. Home comfort consultant to come out later on today.
Arrived for an oil furnace not running. Found some soot in the clean outs and sitting in the base plate u def the burner. I recommend before moving forward to clean the furnace then test. They approved the 399.00 fee and the diagnostics . I got the system clean and re tested . Everything is running ok . He needs to get his chimney cleaned , he will take care of it. I highly recommend replacement due to condition and age , it’s 20+ yrs. It did pass combustion. I collected for my time tonight. Paid by cc.
2/3/26 Dan arrived to the customers home to work on their Weil McLain oil fired boiler , It’s 10 yrs old. I started with inspecting for water leaks, and checked all the copper line joints. I checked the temperature pressure gauge. I checked connections and voltages on the boiler and inspected the aqua stat and circulators. I inspected the heat exchanger and cleaned and inspected the flue pipe for corrosion and holes. I made sure the chimney was clear. I replaced the oil filter, the strainer and nozzle . I cleaned and set the electrodes for proper gapping for proper system operation. I bled the oil burner and tested for combustion and checked the return and supply pipes . Everything is working fine with oil fired boiler at this time of service. I did notice that the customer was at a 1/4 tank of oil. I made him aware that if he doesn’t get it filled soon, it may run out and create sludge into the lines going back to the oil burner . He’s going to get oil on Friday. I collected
On arrival I found the Bosch heat pump is working good , but the outdoor temp is 20° and the oil furnace should be running. I went up and checked my settings. Found settings to be good . Did see that the weather app on the thermostat wasn’t on line. Which would tell the pump to shut off at its lock out time and and bring on the oil furnace. When talking with the customers, they said they redid their Wi-Fi set up about a few months ago . This would knock out there weather app. I went back into the thermostat and set the new Wi-Fi and password , know the weather app is working again. I retested the system now and the aux is working . The system is back up and running again like normal. Collected for 164.52 for today’s visit.
Homeowner described that furnace would light across but quickly shut off thereafter. 10 seconds or so. Found dirty flame sensor. Removed and cleaned with fine steel wool. Tested at 2.1uA DX Found some after under inducer very minimal. Water is NOT coming from second heat exchanger cover plate, but from the inducer itself. I caulked the seam at bottom of inducer where leak typically occurs. The best way to address this issue is to install a 3” tee with bushing and barb in exhaust that will divert condensation produced in exhaust directly to the condensate pump. Reminded Michael that the burners are in bad shape. Recommend upgrading to stainless steel. Emailed estimate again Combustion and draft tests: Pass. System operating well at this time,
Another great visit by the famous Luis! He keeps my systems running like fine-tuned clocks!
Barry was very thorough. He found an issue we were not aware of and though he had already been here a couple hours services our heating system, he reached out to his supply department to ensure they had parts in stock. He then left to pick up those parts, came back and installed them. Talk about taking care of the customer. Barry is awesome at customer service.
