I checked and replaced the indoor air filter , the filter size is 16x25x1. I Inspected the indoor coil and tested the primary drain pan and cleared and tested the water drains and traps if applicable. He is very courteous and has a friendly personality. I arrived to the customers home to perform a Q.A. Inspection on there new 1 stage Goodman 90%  gas furnace and a/c system.  I started with checking the air filter , the filter size is 16x25x1. I checked the overall neatness and performance of the newly installed system. I checked over all system accessories. I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I inspected and tested the  burners , flame sensor and the igniter. I water tested all tubing and hoses. I inspected the exhaust and fresh air pipe for restrictions and bellies. I inspected the inducer and the blower motor operation. I checked and tested for combustion and temp splits. I looked at the overall install of the outdoor a/c. I checked the system level and the level of the disconnect. Made sure all penetrations were sealed. Checked the electrical connections and checked for caps. Everything is in good working order.

Customer called in for no cooling. 3 ton ac system from 2006. Blank thermostat, found open 3 amp fuse. Check wiring I noticed contactor reading high resistance, overall condition of system is poor. Customer is aware there could be other issues in near future. Provided estimate for recommendations. Customer decided to do minimum repairs and set up consultation for new ac unit. After replacing contactor test system operation ok. Low voltage wire going outside red conductor seems to be making contact with ground. I used green conductor to prevent any issues. (We might need to run new wire)

Customer had a clicking sound coming from the Trane heat pump outdoor unit , the fan or compressor was not running. I went down to the basement and found the wet switch light was coming on and off on and off continuously causing the outdoor to click , nothing was wet, everything was dry. Faulty wet switch. I replaced the wet switch under warranty with new. I turned  the system back on and checked the  system operation. No charge , newer system.

I found the wireless thermostat was non responsive and could not reconnect with the wireless module downstairs. I quoted the customer for a new thermostat wireless. She approved the repair. I went and grabbed the part and installed the new thermostat . I set up and linked the new thermostat with the control and tested each mode for proper operation. Pressures look good AC system is back up and running again. I collected for $929.00 for today’s service. Paid by cc,  She had a coupon for $35.00 off any repairs above 299.00 cost . I did leave the estimate for them to review for putting the system under a One year contract.

I arrived for a new system , first time trying cooling and it didn’t come on. I Checked all the Components and the connections on the board. Everything looked fine. I had good pressure outside for equalization. I had no recent errors for the AC side just for the heat side. I reset the indoor unit and the outdoor unit for five minutes and powered the system back on. When the power was restored the system came on and started running and cooling. I checked my first stage and second stage pressures and found good. I had the customer, shut the system off and turn it back on again and I actually let it run a cycle on its own. System is back up and running. I will contact customer Sunday to follow up to see how the system is running. No charge warranty new install .

Excellent and fast customer service. Kurt the technician quickly diagnosed the issue and the solution, and did so in very professional and friendly manner. Technician Nathan, also very professional, came out the next day to complete the job and our system was back up and running. So far, so good. DiBiases response time and work thus far make them a company we can recommend.
