Job Locations and Reviews
I arrived to the customers home to service their 2 yr old Bosch 95% gas furnace system. I started with checking the air filter and found good , the filter size is 16x25x1. I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I inspected and tested the burners , flame sensor and the igniter. I water tested all tubing and hoses. I inspected the exhaust and fresh air pipe for restrictions and bellies. I inspected the inducer and the blower motor operation. I checked and tested for combustion and took temp rise splits at the return and the supply. Everything is running fine at this time newer system.
Performed quality assurance check on recently installed trane high efficiency gas furnace and a/c. Checked all electrical connections and components. Found humidifier wired directly to 24 v transformer and running all the time. Wired it correctly thru the humidifier terminals. Also found that the saddle valve was used on per. Cut out and installed shark bite style valve. Can’t get to outside unit to check due to snow and gate stuck shut. Gas furnace is working properly at qa.
I came out to customers home to do A combustion check on the first floor system which is being replaced next week. Bob was out for the estimate today . The combustion wasn’t great and it failed the smoke test , also was in the air stream of the supply. The system is shut down and gas is shut off to the system for safety purposes . I Did check the second floor system and that is running ok. The second floor system is ok to run, but the first floor is shut down. If needed the customer said they will stay with other family members till the new system is installed on the first floor. Collected for $89 for today for quick check up on the second floor. Fully assessed no heating situation. Found after giving furnace a call for heat found the inducer motor locked up. System is from 2011. Would highly recommended replacement of gas furnace. Provided option to replace inducer motor assembly. Ran out and picked up o.e.m. Inducer assembly. Tested operation. Performed combustion test. There is a (2) year guarantee on the inducer assembly from dibiase. Gas furnace is working properly at time of service.
1/29/26 Dan I arrived to the customers home to look at his Bradford white water heater. We had put the water heater in of 2020. The customers expansion tank has failed, it’s waterlogged. I quoted a customer for a new expansion tank. He approved the repair and also renewed his service contract . I shut the water off at the house and at the water heater. I removed the failed expansion tank and replaced with the new OEM tank. I made sure new expansion tank pressure was set within the water heater pressure and lnspected for water leaks . I collected for tank install and system renewal contract, paid by cc. His new expansion tank has 2 yrs labor and parts warranty.
I arrived to the customers home to service their 3 yr old spirit oil furnace system. I started with checking the air filter , the customer services his air filter, 20x25x4. I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I checked and replaced my strainer and nozzle , and the spin on oil filter. I inspected and set my electrodes for proper gapping for optimal performance. I inspected the flue pipe for corrosion and pitting, and I Inspected the power vented in line motor. I inspected my heat exchanger and the chimney for clearance. I bled the oil burner and tested system for smoke and combustion. I took temp rise splits at the return and the supply. Everything is running fine at this time of service. I collected $38.25 for the spin on oil filter. Paid by cc.
Fully assessed burning smell situation on Goodman heat pump system ( installed by another contractor). Ran system in heat pump mode only and went outside to outside heat pump to check 410a refrigerant pressures at 16 degrees f. Pressures were 225/64. Temperatures rise at air handler was only 14 degrees. ( cold outside temp is effecting temperature rise). Then checked out auxiliary heat operations. Found auxiliary heat worked drawling 41 amps, but found wiring feeding it and 40 amp contactor were burnt. Connections to auxiliary heat breaker were not very tight. Provided estimate to repair wiring and replace 40 amp double pole breaker. Customer agreed and also signed up for maintenance plan. Also waived ($99) diagnostic per management. Also made adjustments to thermostat per auxiliary heat. Changed settings from factory 2.9 to 2.0 Fahrenheit. Heat pump is working properly at time of service.
1/23/26 Heating check up on 4 year old 410A Amana Heatpump 5 Tons with 20KW electric heat kit Replaced Aprilaire 213 filter provided by homeowner Indoor and outdoor coils in good condition. Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components. Found burnt wires on one of the double pole contactors @ 20KW electric heat kit. Contactor terminals in bad shape on contactor. Replaced burnt Contactor and repaired wiring as necessary. Tested electric heat afterwards. 42.8 on EACH breaker: total amps 84 Good. I noticed that the breaker in panel that feeds the air handler is slightly oversized. It is a 150A. 110A is ideal according to most recent wiring standards. She will call electrician. Left estimates for surge protectors. Measured temperature rise and static pressure Inspected drains. Verified integrity of compressor and defrost cycle Checked refrigerant charge/pressures. Set new unit on bump up box and adapted existing return to unit. Built custom transition between coil and supply duct. Ran new lineset from indoor unit it to outdoor unit. Adapted existing gas line to new unit and leak checked all joints. Ran new condensate drain to new condensate pump with new Vinyl running to point of indoor discharge. Made all high and low voltage connections to unit. Wired all safeties in series to break 24v R call to new Honeywell s1200 thermostat. Adapted existing vent pipes to new unit. Retired Humidifier into new unit. Set new unit on new pad and leveled. Hung new disconnect box with surge protector and sealed to wall. Piped in new lineset. Brazed pressure tested evacuated and charged system. Made all high and low voltage connections to unit. Performed all test put procedures cleaned all work areas and reviewed installation with homeowner. *homeowner states new unit is vibrating* I replaced blower squirrel cage and sealed all penetration holes in metal du
I arrived to the customers home to install and re route a 3/8 condensation tubing from the outside to the indoor main drain of the customers home. Installed and tested for leaks . Collected balance of $231.39 paid by cc.
