I arrived to the customers home for 1st floor no heat . Found inducer motor is very noisy. Found inducer motor bearings are failing. Quoted 1,700.00 for inducer motor replacement. The system is 18 yrs old and the a/c wasn’t working to well the previous year per the customer . I recommended replacement for a new system for the 1st floor. The customer decided on having an estimate done for full system replacement. Collected 99.00 for today service ,paid by cc. The system is running at this time .
Found failed expansion tank. Water on air side of tank. This is what caused the t+p valve to trickle. It is no longer opening but may do so from time to time until expansion tank is replaced. There was a long run time of water heater at the end the T-P valve opened You could keep a bucket under it until we can come back for repairs. Keep an eye on area under valve especially after high volume water use. Water heater was installed June 23, 2020. Expansion tank and T+P valve are Not covered by 5 year warranty Water pressure 58 psi Good Provided (3)estimates. 1 is to replace expansion tank (it is in another room next to water meter.) 2. Recommend repairs is to replace BOTH the expansion tank and the T+P valve. 3. Replace T+P valve separate He agreed to replace expansion tank and diagnostic. Collected half today. We will collect balance upon completion of work.
Luis 12-30-25 return visit to replace control module and blower motor for air handler. I also recover refrigerant from heat pump removed 20 lbs, pull vacuum, and added factory charge plus 4 ounce. Total charge 18 lbs and 4 oz. Test system operation ok cycle heat pump monitor refrigerant pressures ok. Check supply and return air temps 21 rise. 71 return and 92 supply air temp. Heat tune up was completed during today’s visit, 20 kw back up heat ok. Installed new filter and new humidifier pad provided by customer. No charge for today’s repair. Warranty from installation.

Set new unit on existing return box. Adapted to Supply duct work.flushed lineset and adapted to unit. Installed 8kw heat kit. Made all high and low voltage connections to unit. Ran new condensate drain to new condensate pump. Wired all safeties to break 24v R call to thermostat. Set new unit on new pad and leveled. Hung new disconnect box with internal surge protector. Adapted existing lineset to new unit. Braz3d pressure tested evacuated and charged system. Made all high and low voltage connections to unit. Performed all test put procedures cleaned all work areas and reviewed installation with homeowner.

Performed precision heat tune up on trane 2 stage gas furnace. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked temperature rise. Aprilaire 501 air filter is ok. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked gas pressure. Blew out and inspected all tubing. Cleaned flame sensor. Performed combustion test. Explained to customer that this furnace is a 2 stage and the furnace vents will blower stronger and weaker at times due to variable speed blower. Also the led reme does buzz when blower is activated this is normal operation. Condensation pump had some junk in it cleaned out and put tabs in pump. Gas furnace is working properly at time of service.
I arrived to the customers home to service their 6 yr old gas furnace system. I started with checking the air filter and replaced , the filter size is 16x20x1. I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I inspected and tested the burners , flame sensor and the igniter. I water tested all tubing and hoses. I inspected the exhaust and fresh air pipe for restrictions and bellies. I inspected the inducer and the blower motor operation. I checked and tested for combustion and took temp rise splits at the return and the supply. Everything is running fine at this time of service.
3 yr old electric heat pump not heating. Performed inspection on system. Upon arrival, found system off on high pressure lockout and blower not running with call for heat present. Checked error history and found indoor blower motor not communicating with control board. Reset power to unit and system ran temporarily then locked out again. System has faulty indoor control board. Ordering indoor control board for return visit. Repair covered under install warranty. Return tech also to recover refrigerant charge and weigh in fresh charge; also covered under install warranty. Set fan to ON and advised customer if system cuts out again to reset both bottom left breakers inside breaker panel. This should reset errors and allow for temporary heat.
