Job Locations and Reviews
Luis 12-13-25 customer called in for gas smell coming from heater, I check heater operation and check all connections no smell cycle heater couple times and no smell. I check intake and exhaust ok. I talked to ray and told him if smell comes back he will need to contact peco they have a better leak detector.
Performed precision heat tune up on 2003 Rudd gas furnace. Replaced 16x25x1 air filter. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked temperature rise. Cleaned flame sensor. Checked gas pressure. Performed combustion test. Examined heat exchanger with camera and found some deep rust pitting in heat exchanger, didn’t find any holes thru yet but recommend replacing furnace before this happens. Also found inducer motor is making noise. Provided estimate to replace inducer but this does not fix condition of heat exchanger. Recommend getting a replacement quote from dibiase. She is going to talk to her family first she will get back to us.
Performed precision heat tune up on (2) Lennox propane gas furnaces. Replaced 20x25x4 air filter for basement furnace, provided by homeowner. 16x25x5 filter homeowner is going to replace. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked gas pressure. Cleaned flame sensors. Checked resistance of hsi. Inspected heat exchangers with camera. Found no surge protection on ethier system both have variable speed motors, provided estimate to install. Inspected burners. Provided estimate to replace non working humidifier with Aprilaire 620 humidifier. Performed combustion test. Both furnaces are working at time of service. Basement furnace is 12 years old would consider replacement.
Fully assessed no heating situation on pump and dump geothermal. Gave system a call for heat geothermal came right on. Checked temperature rise it was 26 degrees. R 410a refrigerant pressures were 337/90. Checked loop temperatures they were 55 degrees water in and 33 degrees out. Would recommend performing repairs provided by previous technician and insulate piping and replacing water solenoid valves 3/4”. Water out temp is low and this could cause lock outs due to not enough water flow through coax coil. There were no lock out codes present while I was on site. Geothermal is working but could lock out if loop gets too cold.
Estimate
Fully assessed no heating situation. Mattioni was already on site. Found that the inducer motor was sticking and not starting every time. Inducer motor is just out of labor warranty. Gave estimate to replace inducer assembly, customer is going with other company to replace.
DiBiase is simply the best. I called tonight with a heating problem and they came right out just like they have always done. Daniel Ruggirello was excellent - thank you Dan.
I arrived to the customers home system is not running at all. I went down to the furnace in the basement could hear the blower running but no inducer motor check my inducer motor looks like it’s free spinning I went and checked my water drains and my water tube from the collector box to the pressure switch had some debris. I remove the debris out of the small hose place back on the unit cleared. I cleared all my other waterlines and the tubing did have a little bit of water not a lot. I turned the system back on and the heater fried right up system is back up and running at this time of service. The customer would like to have somebody look at his system to give him a new estimate. He had an estimate done, but it’s been a few years. I believe I collected from my diagnostics and clearing up the line.
Found the customers condensation pump for the first floor system is leaking The barb fitting had broken off, causing waters the spray all over the basement when the pump would run . I quoted the customer for a new pump and he approved the repair. I removed the failed pump, and replaced with new and filled the reservoir and tested . The first floor system is back up and running at this time service. Also looked at the customers humidifier. He’s missing his panel holder and the waterline looks a little corroded. I put in for a recommendation for a 600 humidifier kit and repair of the waterline . I also gave a quote for a new 600 M humidifier. The customer will Let us know what he wants to do with the humidifier . I collected for $370.00 for tonight’s service.
I arrived to the customers home for no heat with a blank thermostat. On arrival I can hear the condensate pump running nonstop. The Outside PVC feeding the 3/8 tubing didn’t have really good insulation on it. I removed the small piece of ice on the tip and added a small piece of insulation to reseal . The furnace came back on and I tested the pump multiple times. The customer will leave as is for now and if it freezes again he would like to redirect the 3/8 tubing to his stack drain. I did Leave an estimate for the customer to review. Collected for $84.15 for today’s service.
12/04/25 Dan 2 furnace check ups . I arrived to the customers home to service their 10 yr old system and there 7 yr old system. I started with checking the air filters and replaced both customer supplies his own filters. I did service and test both humidifier systems #10/#35 water panels set both humidifiers at 35% . I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I inspected and tested the burners , flame sensors and the igniters on both units. I water tested all tubing and hoses. I inspected the exhaust and fresh air pipe for restrictions and bellies. I inspected the inducer and the blower motor operations for both units. I checked and tested for combustion and took temp rise splits at the return and the supply's on both systems . Both heat systems are working fine at this time of service. I sent a payment link to the customer for the $378.00 renewal and the 2 humidifier services for $59.00 each , grand total due is $496.00 I recommended water protection for the 1st floor
