Luis 12-1-25 custom turn the heat on for first time and it would not come on. customer called in for no heat oil furnace found primary trim upon arrival check electros transformer, primary control operation all seem to be OK check nozzle ok. I check pump pressure ok nozzle is delivering oil to chamber. (There is water coming from oil line and tank) took photo of oil condition. Recommend getting an estimate to replace system. Customer want home comfort consultant to come out this upcoming Thursday between 4 and 5 pm.

Installed new larrs combination boiler. Adapted vent piping and gas line. Adapted boiler supply piping and installed new spiral vent, circ pump and expansion tank. Adapted boiler return piping and installed new water feeder. Adapted high voltage and installed new outlet for boiler. Pipped in domestic water and installed new mixing valve. Reused existing thermostat and wired in low volt with outdoor sensor. Cleaned up work area and tested out equipment.

Checked dip switch setting , system test and function. Looked over the workmanship of the install. The customer would like a paper copy mailed to her of the paperwork/ invoice. Fixed banging sound on the return side . It was popping turning off and on. System is now functioning to standards

Outdoor unit very noisy. Trane heat pump/propane furnace hybrid. I added a rubber cork bad to one of the pipes near the reversing valve that was up against the side of the unit which helped alleviate noise. I also added to straps to the Lineset inside to take vibrations away. Checked operations Measured temperature rise. System is much quieter now.

Luis 11-29-29 customer has gas boiler that would not heat. Found thermostat calling for heat, circulator pump running but not ignition system. Found gas valve not fully on the on position it was between pilot and on position, I fully moved to on position and test operation ok. Check system operation cycle boiler on temp ok. Boiler is working. (Customer cleaned pilot couple weeks ago and did not fully turn to on). Boiler piping will need some work. I provided estimate to repose return pipe and expansion tank/water feeder/ pressure relief valve. Boiler piping is outdated provided estimate to add expansion tank with new relief valve and water feeder. Also add return. Manifold with purgers.

Completed heat tune up for oil furnace. Replaced 16x25x1 air filter. Cleaned heat exchanger and inspected flue piping and chimney. Light coating of soot. There is no chimney liner. A liner is preferred. Chimney company would run liner. Open return on basement. No ducted return with natural draft appliance. This is considered risky and unsafe. Return air will influence combustion and combustion byproducts can make their way into air strea. Replaced oil filter, strainer with gasket and nozzle. Inspected electrode condition and alignment, transformer, cad cell eye, and air bands for debris. Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components including fan speeds. Luis 11-26-25 customer called in for not hot water. Upon arrival. Customer show me water heater location. Power vented propane found no power to tank. Outlet was tripped on gfci reset switch and test operation water heater came on. I check expansion tank and water pressure, expansion tank has failed water pressure is over 80 psi. I provided estimate to replace both items. I also emailed estimate to replace waste heater.

11-26-25 Luis; perform gas heat check up on a York 80 k Btu 90+ condensing furnace. Check all electrical connections and components went through air delivery combustion removal and ignition systems. Replace air filter performed combustion test check supply return air temperature rise. During today’s visit, I didn’t notice some items that will need attention. Inducer assembly is running higher amps than normal ignition components they are low standards. I did inspect heat exchanger and there’s some heavily corroded/rust areas that will potentially be holes soon. Gas heater is from 2010. Would recommend getting an estimate to replace heater. customer to follow up with customer Friday morning.

11-26-25 Luis perform gas heat tuneup on a 96+ Amana two stage furnace check all electric connection components check air filter service humidifier replacement of pad and test operation set it to 35% winter. Clean sensor and inspect burners ok. Cycle heater performed combustion test ok. Air filter ok at this time. Provided estimate to add drain kit on intake pipe to prevent any damage to gas valve (condensation from outside air). Customer approved estimate for the repairs paid 50% deposit office to contact customer to schedule repairs.

Found 0 Volts at secondary (24V) side of both contactors. Found burnt off and detached lead wire to the electric heat contactor. The terminal of contactor in bad shape. Offered to replace contactor under parts warranty and repair wiring connection. I stripped back the wire to a clean point and installed in new contactor. Installed new contactor under parts warranty. Checked over all wiring connections and outdoor control. I explained to her that it is the correct size wire but it was either slightly overtorqued or under torqued on the manufacturer floor and overtime that point of contact overheated and eventually caused the wire to fray and detach. This wiring is all internal/ manufacturer. NOT a field supplied wire. Also offered to install blower motor surge protector. She agreed. Completed work today. Replaced Aprilaire 313 filter provided by homeowner.recommend replacing every 6 months. Tested system including electric heat amps. 40A Good. System operating well at this time.

Completed heat tune up for high efficiency natural gas boiler. Inspected heat exchanger and burners: also clean. Cleaned burner compartment. Vacuumed heat exchanger. Inspected pilot assembly and cleaned with fine steel wool Inspected hyrdronic components: air scoop, feed valves, expansion tank, circulator. Checked wiring controls and components. The display is glitching, the light goes in and out, limited use of control. Although boiler is operating the display is acting up. We will provide estimate to replace boiler display. 11/25/25 Dan I arrived to the customers home to service their 3 yr old gas furnace system. I started with checking the air filter and replaced , the filter size is 16x25x1. I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I inspected and tested the burners , flame sensor and the igniter. I water tested all tubing and hoses. I inspected the exhaust and fresh air pipe for restrictions and bellies. I inspected the inducer and the blower motor operation. I checked and tested for combustion and took temp rise splits at the return and the supply. Everything is running fine at this time of service. He’s interested in doing a humidifier 600 on his return side .with bypass . I quoted $1,220.18. He would also like to know if the newer 600 is available with pricing .

Installed and hung new Trane air handler. Adapted to supply metal and made custom return transition. Adapted to copper condensate line with pvc. New 30x60 drain pan with wet switch and EZ trap. Adapted to existing electrical. Reconfigured electrical panel to make it a 240v circuit. Installed new Trane heat pump on new pad and legs. Installed rectorseal power monitoring disconnect. Replaced lineset. Tested all operations and cleaned work area. Adjust charge in spring.

arrived to the customers home to service their 20 + yr old oil furnace system. I started with checking the air filter and replaced, the filter size is 14x25x1. I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I checked and replaced my strainer and nozzle , and the oil filter. I inspected and set my electrodes for proper gapping for optimal performance. I inspected the flue pipe for corrosion and pitting. Inspected my heat exchanger and the chimney for clearance. I bled the oil burner and tested system for smoke and combustion. Garage oil furnace he is using to keep lawn equipment equipment from getting too cold. Oil leaks in a couple different spots on oil line. Broke the flare nuts and realized the flares were not of great quality. Also appeared to be tiny leak in filter canister. Reflared all joints. Installed new filter canister. Also determined the metric to SAE riello adapter fitting itself was leaking. Presented options and homeowner agreed. Replaced all firming and made all new flare joints and installed new oil filter canister. Bled line and tested. Combustion tests: Pass Furnace needs (2) 12x20x1 filters. Flushed drain with vinegar. There is a condensate pump safety and EZ trap but no wet switch. Wet switch will shut equipment down if water is detected on floor near unit.
