Drained oil tank into oil drums using transfer pump and hoses. Removed oil tank from ledge. Handcrafted oil tank out of basement. Set oil tank aside for scrap guy to collect. Ensured work areas were cleaned.
11/11/25 Tan Performed quality assurance visit on newly installed gas boiler converted from oil. Client has no complaints and thought our team did a great job. While system heats home comfortably, he stated two of his radiators don’t seem to be working. We later found that the valve for the one was not open and it had some air in it. He will test the other one and let our installers know if there’s an issue when we return to take out the oil tank. Started boiler operations. Confirmed pressures were accurate on the gauge. Piping is superb with circulator piped on supply after air eliminator that is tied into expansion tank and the water feed at the point of no pressure change. Pipes returned hot as they should. Checked combustion and found it very good. Draft and smoke test confirmed clean combustion. System settings were good as well. Visually inspected oil tank with install manager on phone and decided that we will pump from the outside with a 50ft hose that should reach. Tank sits
Installed new well McLain boiler. Adapted return and installed new shut off valve and boiler drain. Adapted supply and installed new circ pump, shut off valves, expansion tank, spiral vent, and water feeder. Adapted exhaust pipe and installed new draft and automatic damper. Adapted gas line and installed new shut off valve. Adapted high volt and installed new outlet and switch. Installed new Honeywell thermostat and wired in low voltage to unit. Cleaned up work area and tested out equipment. Installed new resideo automatic water shut off/ freez detector. Installed new water detection alarm for resideo automatic shut off valve. Customer did not want to download and set up the app at this time. Will have to return to remove old oil tank. Oil line was removed at time of install.
Luis 10-22-25 performed oil boiler cleaning/tune up, clean heat exchanger and flue pipe, clean chimney base ok. Inspect low and high voltage connections and components, replace oil filter nozzle and pump strainer. Check oil flow ok test boiler operation performed combustion test and smoke test ok. Check water pressure and temps. There are signs of water leak from boiler block. Customer is aware this condition. I also noticed so,we of the parts at burner wearing out. Fire block chamber inside burner is in bad shape major cracks. Showed customer boiler condition. Current oil boiler does not have water feeder. Would recommend getting an estimate to replace boiler. There is gas in the house. Home comfort consultant to come tomorrow afternoon.
Reviewed home with Scott to discuss options for boiler replacement. Currently has an oil
Hi velocity system good install with a mitigation board just for further reference the wiring for mitigation board in the instructions is not correct. Supply temp 50° system running to manufacture specifications.

Spoke with Bob on arrival who indicated unit was not keeping up consistently on hot days and temperature would climb during the day until is was up in the 80s. Walked the home, the unit installed is for the 2nd floor only. Reviewed installation and inspected ductwork for leakage. Old ducts are not sealed, it is recommended to seal ductwork but this is not related to problem. Inspected wiring and found unit wired as 2 stage and outdoor unit is a single stage unit. Rewired to jump Y1 and Y2 together as recommended in installation manual. Checked dipswitches to ensure airflow is setup properly, set to 390 cfm/ton and set to 2 ton. There was no signs of condensation in pan or around drain line but trap is not insulated. Turned system on and checked system charge and delta across coil. Superheat at 18 degf and subcooling at 8 degf and delta T at 18 degf. System is working properly at this time. It was 75 degf outside so there were no signs of a problem. Instructed Bob to call me
Installed new unico system with trane A/C outdoor. Placed unit in existing condensate pan and reused existing wet switch.Adapted return and supply. Tapped/caulked return and supply. Insulated return and supply ductwork. Adapted high volt and installed new 240v switch. Adapted condensate line and installed new ez trap. Reused existing thermostat and wired in low volt with safeties. Flushed line set and connected to new equipment. Installed new A/C outdoor on leveled pad. Installed new disconnect with surge protector and wired into outdoor unit. Cleaned up work area and tested out equipment. Unable to fit blower surge protector on unico system.
Nate is punctual, knowledgeable, highly professional, and describes what he is doing so the homeowner fully understands. Great job!
Install is complete and all issues have been resolved . There is alittle drop of water that triggered the wet switch . I put wet switch on islolation pad to rise up a bit and reset. System is running to standards
