I arrived to look at a new mini split that was put in at the end of August. It is leaking a lot of water. I did confirm that drain line is clear. The issue that I’m seeing is the drain line comes across the back of the mini split with the line set goes up and out through the hole doesn’t have great pitch, two things one we can remove the covering in the mini split and see if we can adjust the drain line or we can use a pump for this unit the drain the water. I would probably recommend you guys or send the install crew back I will talk with management about this unit .

Homeowner described that temperature rises to around 71° in the afternoon. Thermostat on first floor wall near hallway. This morning when I arrived the thermostat was satisfied 68° Homeowner put sticky notes around the evaporator door and bypass pipe of humidifier noting air leaks. I taped and siliconed sections as appropriate. It is very common for these sections to leak some air especially during high fan speed operations. The trunk duct is inaccessible above drywall soffit and ceiling. I can feel air coming from there. Refrigerant pressures are Good 10° Subcooling. Would be a good idea to come back and place an insulated koozie around TXV. Please have tech bring one with upcoming AC tune up. System operating well at this time.
Fully assessed water leaking situation on recently installed Hisense mini split system installed by dibiase. Found water dripping from mini split head. Found condensation drain going up hill over top of linset as it exists the wall. Was able to break out some of the dry wall and pull on condensation hose from down below to get it tucked under linset. Used water bottle and poured water over the coil, no water dripped from mini split head. Put system into cooling mode and tested operation, did not see any more water dripping. Let customer know to keep an eye on it and and further issues we would need to guys and extension ladder to re route the drain even more. A/c is working properly at time of service.

No cooling for 1st floor system 2 Ton R22 AC with 60,000 BTU Gas furnace located in basement hanging on unistrut. Found very dirty 12x24x1 filter. Replaced with 1 that homeowner had. Informed hi. That this was the last of this filter he had down there. Needs to order more. Found compressor not running. Cause is failed 30/5 uF dual capacitor. Offered to replace today. Replaced capacitor and wiring connectors. Tested system operations. Found unit very low on R22 refrigerant. Will it perform well while running this low on R22 refrigerant and may ice up inside. We set up a system replacement consultation for today, He will make a decision once he has concrete pricing.
