Very happy with our service to have a modern thermostat installed. Our initial install was very old and meant the new install wasn’t as simple as expected, but Dan was able to come up with a solution and we love the new unit.
2/26/26 Heating check up on an 8 year old 80% Luxaire Natural Gas Furnace Started tuneup and completed tuneup running combustion tests, both tests show good combustion levels. Tested return and supply temperatures and found a temp rise of 56 degrees which is in appropriate data plate range. Tested static and found total static to be 1.03inwc. Checked gas pressure, found single stage valve running at 3.19inwc, I adjusted this to 3.51inwc. Checked all electrical connections including total system amps, inducer amps, blower amps, blower capacitor, ignitor and flame sensor, all electrical components functioning properly. Filter was replaced today. Pulled and cleaned flame sensor. Visually inspected blower motor and burners, both in good condition. Pulled high limit safety and scoped heat exchanger, did not discover any cracks or rusting. Ensured all pressure switch tubing is clear. Homeowner signed and paid in full for an upgraded thermostat today, did not have thermostat on van, w
I arrived to the customers home for a peco heat pump assessment on a 8 yr old system . I checked all electrical connections and voltages . I checked the air filter and replaced, supplied by the customer 16x21x1 . Inspected the indoor coil and tested electric heat package. Took temp splits for the electric heat and blower motor amperage draws. I looked at the outdoor heat pump and tested for an outdoor btu output. Inspected the outdoor components and unit pressures. Everything is working fine at this time of service. I went through the thermostat and adjusted some settings for her aux heat . Her bills have been high . I did leave an estimate for a ez trap for a water protection. For her to review.
I arrived to the customers home for no heat on an oil furnace. I the Found system is getting oil , and pump is working , but the unit wasn’t combusting. Found oil residue in the blast tube and on the nozzle assembly. Faulty nozzle. I replaced the nozzle and cleared the nozzle assembly. I put everything back together and set the electrodes . I bled and primed the burner. Tested system operation and combustion. I covered the nozzle replacement we were just here recently for a maintenance. Collected for prime and purge and diagnostic. Collected $249.58, paid by cc.
Performed ductless system inspection on recently installed two indoor head one outdoor heat pump. Clean filters, check temperature rise 30 degrees rise both units, check outdoor unit electrical and refrigeration piping ok system is working properly at the time of service.
Fully assessed no heating situation. Found that on emergency heat gas furnace was running fine. This is a 2016 trane hybrid system. The issue is with the heat pump. Got homeowner to switch thermostat back to regular heat to check 410a refrigerant pressures. Found system had 410a in the system but when only run for about 3 seconds. Found a call between c&y with 27 volts. Found no led’s on defrost board or eev board. There is also no surge protector on disconnect. Also unit is becoming un level. Gave homeowner estimate. Also will need to get pricing on eev board and defrost boards, there could be further issues. Would recommend replacing heat pump system.
Performed quality assurance on recently installed Bosch heat pump. Test back up heat 15 kw ok. Check heat pump operation check supply and return air temps, 30 degree split. Test safeties ok. Per customer lockout emergency heat at 40 degrees and set timer 40 minutes for electric to come on. System is working properly at the time service. System pass inspection.
03/03/26 Dan I arrived to the customers home to service their 2 yr old 95% Trane gas furnace system. I started with checking the air filter and found good, she has a clean air effects . I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I inspected and tested the burners , flame sensor and the igniter. I water tested all tubing and hoses and inspected the collector box . I inspected the exhaust and fresh air pipe for restrictions and bellies. I inspected the inducer and the blower motor operation. I checked and tested for combustion and took temp rise splits at the return and the supply. Everything is running fine newer system. I collected for 189.00 renewal paid by cc.
Performed precision heat tune up on 2024 Goodman gas furnace. Replaced aprilaire 413 air filter. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked temperature rise. Checked gas pressure. Cleaned flame sensor. Wire brushed burners. Performed combustion test. Found old uv bulb on system installed incorrectly and not working provide options for newer uv air purifiers. Propane gas furnace is working properly at time of service.

Luis 3-2-26 customer called in because they wanted to make sure no issues with unit. Customer has bosch heat pump with propane back up the heater. They stated that they have used more propane this year. Upon arrival test system operation thermostat is calling for heat pump outside. Unit is running check supply return. Air temperature is 25° split between the supply and the return with 38° outside. Balance point for the heat pump it’s 30 and 35 for back up heat check heat pump refrigerant levels ok as I was checking system unit went into defrost. Defrost was completed normal. I compare refrigerant levels with gauges and inverter board. Both numbers are close enough within 10 psi difference. Heat pump is working properly I don’t see any issues. This winter is been colder than other years that’s why propane heater is been running more often.
03/03/26 Dan I started with the indoor head and checked the wiring connections and the voltages . I pulled and cleaned the air filters if needed. I inspected the blower wheel and the cleanliness of the indoor mini split head . I tested the fan speeds with the remote for proper operation. I turned the system on heat and checked my supply and return temps. I went to the outdoor heat pump. And checked my wiring connections and the voltages . I tested for pressures and system compressor and fan components. Both sides of the system are working fine at this time of service. Collected for $89.00 paid by cc.
Luis 3-3-26 performed heat pump inspection on Goodman heat pump installed by dibiase 2025. Check all electrical connections and components, replace air filter 16x20x1 check airflow test 8 kw back up heat ok. Check refrigerant levels and heat pump electrical ok. System is running properly at the time of service, I noticed thermostat brings back up heat right away. No way to control staging or lockout provided estimate to install new thermostat s1200.
Performed precision heat pump tune up on 2013 trane heat pump system. Replaced aprilaire 210 air filter, homeowner provided. Checked operation of emergency heat. Checked temperature rise. Checked all electrical connections and components. System went through defrost while on site. Found that when compressor ramps up to 2nd stage it was very noisy. ( this is a sign the compressor is starting to fail, do not know longevity). Provided estimate to replace the compressor but due to being 13 years old would recommend replacing system. Talked to homeowner about this. Heat pump is working at this time.

For each furnace: Inspected heat exchanger, burners, flue pipe, inducer assembly and hoses Inspected hot surface ignitor and verified resistance with meter Cleaned flame sensor and verified flame rectification circuit Measured temperature rise and static pressure Checked wiring, controls, electric motors and components; there are no surge protectors; left estimate for a surge protector for each furnace Checked manifold gas pressures. Soap bubble gas leak test on each furnace: Pass Inspected drains and pump. There is a condensate pump safety but no EZ trap. Left estimate for EZ trap. Both systems lack water safeties. This is especially important for attic system. There is no water shutoff in equipment pan. If water overspills it will ruin ceilings below. Provided email estimate for wet switch for each system.

Performed precision heat tune up on 2016 amana propane high efficiency gas furnace. Replaced aprilaire 413 air filter ( provided by homeowner. Checked all electrical connections and components. Cleaned flame sensor, checked gas pressure. Checked temperature rise. Found burners getting pretty rusted and corroded, provided estimate to up grade to stainless steel burners. Performed combustion test. Gas furnace is working properly at time of service.
Note: Proposal is based on oil tank being below 1/4 tank. Disconnect, remove, and dispose of old oil tank. Install new Roth oil tank in existing location. Install new Roth tank kit with new gauge and whistle. Repipe new tank to outside. Complete all mechanical connections to the new oil tank. Install Tiger Loop system on boiler to automatically remove air from the lines. 2/27/26 Dan I arrived to the customers home to bleed the oil fired burner. We have just installed a Roth oil tank the day before for the customer and the lines needed to be bled before turning on the boiler . I took photos of the new tank and inspected for any leaks on the joints . I turned the power back on to the oil boiler and bled the oil burner. Tested system operation, everything is back up and running. No charge included with the install .
2/27/26 Installed new pressure transducer on suction line on outlet of king valve. Used soap and bubbles to check for leaks, no leaks found. Checked 410a pressures with gauges they were 325/84. They were within 10 psi now of digital board readings. Inverter ramped up correctly. Re level system with stone. Checked temperature rise at air handler. Temp rise was supply 102, return was 75 27 degree rise. Heat pump is working properly at time of service.

2/26/26 Kurt and Conner: arrived to noise call to find air handler blower motor malfunctioning. Blower spins slowly with no call from thermostat and locked up upon a call for heat. Blower and wheel will need to be replaced. Called distributor for price and availability. Also highly recommended replacement system,
Arrived to Dave’s house to remove the noisy line choke for the gas furnace. This is covered under warranty parts and labor. I turned the furnace off, and removed the existing line choke and replaced with new OEM warranty part. Turn the system on and tested first and second stages of heat no noise from the line choke in second stage heat . Warranty no charge for today.
Luis 2-25-26 performed propane gas heater inspection on first and second floor heaters. First floor Amana 90% heater from 2001. Attic carrier 90% from 2006. First floor checks out ok. Replace air filter, check all internal parts, ignition, air delivery and combustion removal blower ok. Combustion test ok. First floor Amana is working properly. Second floor carrier heater needs some major work. Currently running, during today’s inspection I found several items that will be an issue soon. Ignition components are corded and reading below standard, heat exchanger is starting to fail, I could see black marks on secondary, heater drain trap is not draining properly, inducer makes noise during start up and off cycle. Water was inside inducer, unit is 20 years old. I would highly recommend getting an estimate to replace system. I did provided estimate to rebuild heater. Home comfort consultant to come out tomorrow afternoon between 230/330 for attic system • No obligation quote to replace
1/14/26 Heating check up on an 8 year old 90% Amana natural gas furnace. Started tune up and completed tune up running combustion tests. Both tests show combustion in appropriate levels. Tested return and supply temperatures and found a temp rise of 59 degrees, in appropriate data plate range. Tested static and found total static to be .63inwc. Checked all electrical connections including total system amps, inducer amps, blower amps, igniter and flame sensor, all electrical components functioning properly. Homeowner notified me she recently replaced the filter so filter was not replaced today. Pulled and cleaned burners and pulled and cleaned flame sensor. Pulled the high limit and scoped heat exchanger, no cracks discovered but a good amount of rusting is occurring. Ensured all pressure switch hoses are clean and flushed drain lines to ensure there are no blockages and that condensate pump is functioning properly. Completed heat tune up for Weil McClain Gold oil boiler There was oil when I wiped bottom of oil filter canister. I brought rhis to homeowners attention and offered to replace the oil filter canister. He agreed, Cleaned heat exchanger and inspected flue piping and chimney. Heat exchanger has a cleaning brush stuck in flue passageway This isn’t a major concern but brought it to homeowners attention. This happened with previous company/technician. Replaced oil filter, strainer with gasket and nozzle. All in very bad condition. Inspected electrode condition and alignment, transformer, cad cell eye, and air bands for debris. Electrodes may need to be replaced in upcoming maintenance visits. Provide email estimate to replace when needed, Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components. Provided estimate for water leak sensor to be installed around boiler. Bled oil line and tested system. Took some time to bleed oil line. Tank is 3/4 full. As a reminder there is no control
2/24/26 Barry Homeowner had oil delivery. Tank is 3/4 full according to left gauge. Bled oil pump and tested system. Completed firmware update on primary control. Pre purge is set to 15 seconds Post purge is set to 30 seconds. Configured thermostat to recognize auxiliary heat to be oil furnace. Aux heat Outdoor temperature Lock out 40°F; compressor balance point 35°F Meaning the oil furnace will only operate when outdoor temperature is 40° or lower. Between 35°F and 40° outdoor temperature the system will try to use the heat pump but if temperature drops 2° below setpoint the oil furnace will provide heating. System operating well at this time,
Dan took time to troubleshoot the system and run tests on the system to identify a ground fault not easily detected without taking the heat exchanger apart. Thank you for your diligence!

Dan (technician) showed up on time. Friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. He didn't mind me asking questions (gotta prepare for that zombie apocalypse) and explained what the problem was and how he was fixing it. Had the parts needed right in his van and got it done quickly. My house now has air conditioning again!

Dillon M. was on time and knowledgeable. He provided multiple options for different brands at various price points. Importantly, he was able to educate me on system options including pros and cons. Luke T and installation team were on time, knowledgeable, and courteous. They worked throughout the day and had old equipment picked up and disposed. New A/C Furnace syste looks and works great. All connections lines were replaced and a new concrete pad was installed outside. The house was left clean. Luke walked me through each aspect of the installation and oriented me to the new system. I am very happy I chose DiBiase Heating and Cooling. Competitive price and prompt service. As part of DiBiase installation protocol, Tan came to the house 1 week after installation to complete a full review of all systems and to help me develop strategies for effective cooling throughout the house. He spent considerable time testing and optimizing the unit, discussed operation of the unit and provided education related warranties, proper filters, and mechanical functions. Nathan was on time and demonstrating a lot of experience. I asked to have the drain line rerouted in the basement, and despite challenges in th e ceiling area, he handled it well. Everything was tied down tightly. He walked me through all parts of his work to ensure I was satisfied.
