Luis 1-12-26 return visit to troubleshoot unit. Found unit with error code e7. I called tech support for troubleshooting, based on the information, from inverter board, discharge sensor should be replaced not reading correctly. We need to replace sensor warranty, customer also has labor warranty, we will need to recover refrigerant and measure how much we take out, and add factory charge once job is completed. No charge

1/15/26
Barry

Recovered 5# 13oz R410A; Factory charge is 7# 9oz (121oz)
Pressure tested system and it help 360 psi for 40 minutes. Soap bubble leak check all joints. No leaks found. Also no leak detection dye anywhere.
Replaced compressor discharge temperature sensor.
Triple evacuated system to standards. Less than 500 microns.
Charged system factory charge. 121 oz R410A.
Started system.
Gets stuck at 31 Hz because transducer has failed.
Control thinks it’s 455 psi liquid pressure when it is 308 psi measured and therefore prevents compressor from modulating up.

Luis 1-9-26 customer called in for heat pump not keeping up found thermostat satisfied at 68 set 71 increased temperature on the thermostat and went outside. Check refrigerant levels on the Bosch heat pump. Noticed couple circuits started to iced up. Pressures were lower, I added 10 ounces 410 and pressures came back to normal. I check temperature rise 36 degrees with no electric heat. Cycle the heat pump couple times and thermostat satisfied at 72°. I also added dye to the system so next time when we come out to do inspection, we will need to check for any signs on an indoor and outside unit. No follow up needed until tuneup unless customer has other issues.

I arrived for a comfort issue. Thermostat wasn’t reaching temperature when I got to the house. Thermostat was set to 68° and was satisfied at 68°. I started with checking the air filter. It was ok but it is getting dirty almost 6 months . I started with the electric heat and that works fine . I started the heat pump and checked the pressures and looked at temp splits. System was running fine also tested in defrost mode. It struggles to run when it gets cold due to the auxiliary being locked out at 15°. Which if the auxiliary isn’t available to help with the heat pump it will drop temp in the house and if the filter is dirt as well. He did Agee to set it at 25° lock out . Collected for 84.15 diagnostic paid by cc.

Fully assessed clicking sound situation. Gave system a call for heat several times and ran the fan in fan on was not able to duplicate the sound. More than likely the sound is the relay pulling in from the pressure switch in the ductwork that brings on the booster fan in the attic. Let Kathryn know that the best thing she could do from here is to video record it with her phone and send it into the shop to see the video and go from there . The system is functioning properly at time of service.

Fully assessed 2025 trane link heat pump. Found settings in the thermostat were good for auxiliary heat. Lock out for aux was 36 degrees. Did find that the thermostat was reading 65 degrees when it was 72 degrees in the home. Calibrated thermostat by 4 degrees to make temperature accurate, this will cause system to run less. Checked temperature rise it was 29 degrees. 454b pressures were good. Heat pump is working properly at time of service.

The return bays and grilles have plenty of drywall dust.
Gave her (2) contacts for duct cleaning services ServPro and MoldNMore.
Also provided estimate to clean blower wheel. Blower wheel should be cleaned after ducts are cleaned and I spring when we can use a hose to clean.

She will contact duct cleaning companies and inform them that the returns specifically need attention.

Noticed that there was no wet switch/flood safety in equipment pan. Provided estimate for wet switch/flood safety which will shut equipment down if water is detected in the pan.

She will contact duct cleaning companies soon.

Barry Peirson was our excellent technician today. He added a feature to our existing gas furnace and heat pump AC unit, replaced our thermostat, and provided a quality review of our gas furnace/heat pump that was installed last month. i met with the DiBiase representative (Tony) in my home so he could review our needs and analyze our current setup/view the current situation. He was very professional, arrived on time, and respected both our home and our time. Dillon M. was on time and knowledgeable. He provided multiple options for different brands at various price points. Importantly, he was able to educate me on system options including pros and cons. Luke T and installation team were on time, knowledgeable, and courteous. They worked throughout the day and had old equipment picked up and disposed. New A/C Furnace syste looks and works great. All connections lines were replaced and a new concrete pad was installed outside. The house was left clean. Luke walked me through each aspect of the installation and oriented me to the new system. I am very happy I chose DiBiase Heating and Cooling. Competitive price and prompt service. As part of DiBiase installation protocol, Tan came to the house 1 week after installation to complete a full review of all systems and to help me develop strategies for effective cooling throughout the house. He spent considerable time testing and optimizing the unit, discussed operation of the unit and provided education related warranties, proper filters, and mechanical functions. Nathan was on time and demonstrating a lot of experience. I asked to have the drain line rerouted in the basement, and despite challenges in th e ceiling area, he handled it well. Everything was tied down tightly. He walked me through all parts of his work to ensure I was satisfied.
