When I arrived customer informed me that the heat pump had came back on and seems to be running ok. Decided to check over heat pump system but explained to him that this unit does not save codes. Went out to outside unit and checked 410a refrigerant pressures they were 372/61. Head pressure was a little high but not terrible. Compressor is also drawling at over 12 amps. Removed air filter and replaced with 1” 20x20x1 customer supplied. Compressor very loud from inside the home also. Would recommend replacing heat pump system very soon. Heat pump is working at time of service.

Replace oil filter rf2 nozzle .60x80a and strainer. Check oil flow ok. Performed combustion test and smoke test on heater ok. Draft ok. Check supply and return air temps ok. Cycle heater ok. Heater is working properly at the time of service, I did inform customer About oil tank age, valve at the tank seems like starting to leak. Oil level is very low. Luis 1-23-26 customer just replaced 700m humidifier and it does not work. I check wiring found no power to humidifier, I check all wiring from thermostat to unit and to humidifier, this new humidifier is configured differently than the old one. Quoted to modified wiring and add common to humidifier customer approved repair. Add common and kept same wiring at the thermostat base. After repairs test operation ok. Humidifier is connected to ecobee stag at terminal + and common is connected from air handler. Cobble shows + and - terminal are connected but only + is connected not sure if this will be an issue later on. As now thermostat is bringing humidifier with no issue.

The other 10 KW was never connected to the unit and thermostat was not set up for 15 KW. I provided estimate to corrected this actions. Customer approved repairs. I connected the other 5K bank to the sub panel and fully set thermostat to 15 kw back up heat, I locked out electric heat at 40 degrees. Test system operation ok. 
Reconnect 5KW to electrical subpanel and reconfigure thermostat for 15 KW back up heat.

The condition of the furnace is OK there is rust around the burner port. No rust on the screws at the secondary. Also recommending replacing the burner tubes with stainless steel burner tubes. Customer has LP gas. My gas pressure low and high fire are fine .  I ran a smoke test and a combustion test on the furnace and it passed . The temp rise was fine .  With the condition of the furnace I would recommend replacing in the near future, it’s close to 10 yrs . I talked with the tenants to be sure they are replacing the air filter monthly. Also found older pro 5000 or 6000 the buttons are waring.

Found thermostat had one wire in the wrong terminal, the “r” wire was in “rc” with the jumper in the thermostat base set to 2 wire. Moved wire up to r terminal and jumper to 1 wire and everything came on. Checked over furnace. Entire system is from 2011 and would consider get a price on replacement. Gas furnace is working at time of service.

When testing electric heat it never initiated. I checked electric heat package at the air handler wiring looks good. High voltage connections are good. I went up to the thermostat and checked the wiring connections. Found the W-2 wire was connected in the wrong terminal, I fixed and moved the wire to the right terminal spot . I retested the electric heat and the auxiliary works . I brought my within 1° and my heat pump ran and moved the temperature up more and the auxiliary came in with the heat pump is back up and running again. I did let the customer know that the heat pump is oversized for the home and the ductwork needs to be i Increased . I collected for 268.62 for today.

Luis 1-21-26 customer called in for no heat, this morning they woke up with blank thermostat. Pump was constantly running. Customer clean pump and started to work. Found heater running upon arrival. I tested condensation pump couple times goes off and on normal. Discharge water goes to outside with 3/4 pvc. Customer stated heater worked normally after cleaning pump. At this time not sure what caused the issue. Could be issue with pump or vinyl tubing. I offered to replace pump. Customer decided not to replace pump. I tested condensation pump couple times goes off and on normal. Discharge water goes to outside with 3/4 pvc. Customer stated heater worked normally after cleaning pump. At this time not sure what caused the issue. Could be issue with pump or vinyl tubing. I offered to replace pump. Customer decided not to replace pump. Reviewed house and equipment. Turned system on and tested operation. Found fan speed for heating at medium high. Ran unit for 10-15 minutes. Measured supply and return air temperature. 115 supply temperature and 69 return.

Arrived for no heat. We were here in December for a maintenance. I turned the system on found flame won’t come all the way across system is LP gas. I pulled the burners and they were very dirty.  I cleaned the burners and but back into place and tested system operation. Combustion was good and heat exchanger was fine . I recommended to the customer that the burner tubes are in bad shape and need to be replaced. He agreed and put 50% down for the new burner tubes. Please follow up with the customer when we get the burner tubes to schedule the repair.  This is a recall no charge . I did collect for $335.43  for 50% down for the (5) burner tubes . Remaining balance due after the repair is completed.

Customer had a problem with capacitor last summer and capacitor flux got all over the wires. Customer pointed to thermostat wire, i cut about 5 inches and reconnected to control board. I test system operation and I did not experience any electrical smell. Check water temperature supply and return, 37 out 47 in. Supply temp 78 return temps 55. Test back up heat ok. Cycle heat pump ok. Geothermal unit is working properly at the time of service. I offer service plan for the heat pump. Customer said he will think about it in the future. Reviewed job and found humidity low in the home. Explained thermostat control and how it can force humidify. Recommend Honeywell S1200 with EIM. Found humidifier valve turned off at water heater. Turned valve back on and tested humidifier operation. Bob would also like to have a price for an inline water filter for humidifier to reduce scale buildup. Discussed options on whole house treatment but Bob was not interested at this time. Add inline water filter to existing quote and resend quote.

I started with checking the air filter , and replaced the air filter , it’s a 413 Aprilaire supplied by the customer. I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I replaced my strainer and nozzle , and the oil filter. I inspected and set my electrodes for proper gapping for optimal performance.  I inspected the flue pipe  for corrosion and pitting. Inspected my heat exchanger and the chimney for clearance. I bled the oil burner and tested system for smoke and combustion. I took temp rise splits at the return and the supply. Everything is running fine at this time of service, newer system. 

I collected for the customers $399.00 for his service agreement renewal. Paid by cc. No recommendations at this time .

Dan (technician) showed up on time. Friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. He didn't mind me asking questions (gotta prepare for that zombie apocalypse) and explained what the problem was and how he was fixing it. Had the parts needed right in his van and got it done quickly. My house now has air conditioning again!

Dillon M. was on time and knowledgeable. He provided multiple options for different brands at various price points. Importantly, he was able to educate me on system options including pros and cons. Luke T and installation team were on time, knowledgeable, and courteous. They worked throughout the day and had old equipment picked up and disposed. New A/C Furnace syste looks and works great. All connections lines were replaced and a new concrete pad was installed outside. The house was left clean. Luke walked me through each aspect of the installation and oriented me to the new system. I am very happy I chose DiBiase Heating and Cooling. Competitive price and prompt service. As part of DiBiase installation protocol, Tan came to the house 1 week after installation to complete a full review of all systems and to help me develop strategies for effective cooling throughout the house. He spent considerable time testing and optimizing the unit, discussed operation of the unit and provided education related warranties, proper filters, and mechanical functions. Nathan was on time and demonstrating a lot of experience. I asked to have the drain line rerouted in the basement, and despite challenges in th e ceiling area, he handled it well. Everything was tied down tightly. He walked me through all parts of his work to ensure I was satisfied.
