I made sure all wiring and connections were completed in a neatly manner. I checked the air filter and replaced if needed filter size is 20x20x1. I made sure the system had all the proper accessories tied into the equipment. I Inspected the indoor coil and tested electric heat package. I looked at the outdoor heat pump and checked my wiring and checked the level of the disconnect and the heat pump.  Inspected the outdoor components and unit pressures. Everything is in good working order.

I arrived to the customers home to look at there 7 yr old Goodman heat pump not working. 
Outdoor heat pump wouldn’t run. I checked  the indoor system 1st and everything looks good. I got out to the outdoor unit and It had an error code for 2P which is a high-pressure cut out. Found my pressures were equalized and were good. I reset the unit to see system operation. The unit came on for about five seconds and then shut off, went back into a delay and then showed 2P again. I removed the top of the unit and looked at the high-pressure leads and found one was wore on a piece of copper tubing.  I fix the wire lead and put Everything back together and separated from the copper. I turned the system back on and the heat pump came on and stayed on for the duration of the time. Pressures were excellent . The high pressure switch was faulty  due to a short against the copper. The system satisfied, I bumped up the thermostat and  the system did come on again for the 2nd time. I did visually see the indoor control board was burnt in the top left corner near the fuse. But the system is actively running. I checked the outdoor heat pump and found pressures are great. The outdoor heat pump is running good and indoor temperatures were excellent. I believe what was happening possibly was that the indoor auxiliary heat was working intermittently due to the board being damaged. I sent over an exposition form to order the control board for the indoor unit. System is actively running at this time of service collected for new service contract , Diagnostic and 50% down on the control board . Total collected for today was $828.69 paid by credit card

I arrived to the customers home to service their 3 yr old Amana 95% gas furnace system. 
I started with checking the air filter and replaced , the filter size is 16x25x1. I also recommended in servicing the humidifier, was declined at this time. I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I inspected and tested the  burners , flame sensor and the igniter. I water tested all tubing and hoses. I inspected the exhaust and fresh air pipe for restrictions and bellies. I inspected the inducer and the blower motor operation. Concern was about energy bills. Equipment is 2 ton package heat pump  with 10KW electric heat kit.

They have a nest thermostat which allows for only limited control of electric heat use. I recommend smart thermostat where you can specify exactly what outdoor temperature the electric heat is locked out of use.
Tested electric heat amps 10KW 42A Good. 
Checked refrigerant charge pressures 348/96 45° Outdoor temperature: Good

Temperature rise with heat pump is 67-85=18° Ok considering this is a 14 SEER system ok. 

The front living room grille (close to exterior wall) was closed. I told them it is better to have them all open in heating season. 

I honestly don’t have anything to bring to homeowners attention . These package units are only so efficient

Concern was about energy bills. Equipment is 2 ton package heat pump with 10KW electric heat kit. They have a nest thermostat which allows for only limited control of electric heat use. I recommend smart thermostat where you can specify exactly what outdoor temperature the electric heat is locked out of use. Tested electric heat amps 10KW 42A Good. Checked refrigerant charge pressures 348/96 45° Outdoor temperature: Good Temperature rise with heat pump is 67-85=18° Ok considering this is a 14 SEER system ok. The front living room grille (close to exterior wall) was closed. I told them it is better to have them all open in heating season. I honestly don’t have anything to bring to homeowners attention . I arrived to look at the customers thermostat and eim control. He doesn’t believe the humidifier is working. Went through the thermostat settings and found everything was OK. Check the EIM board that looks OK could’ve been some kind of error on the thermostat, but the humidifier is working. Did recommend to the customer about replacing his outer casing for the water panel in the top starting to calcify to a point of replacement. No charge warranty.

Dillon M. was on time and knowledgeable. He provided multiple options for different brands at various price points. Importantly, he was able to educate me on system options including pros and cons. Luke T and installation team were on time, knowledgeable, and courteous. They worked throughout the day and had old equipment picked up and disposed. New A/C Furnace syste looks and works great. All connections lines were replaced and a new concrete pad was installed outside. The house was left clean. Luke walked me through each aspect of the installation and oriented me to the new system. I am very happy I chose DiBiase Heating and Cooling. Competitive price and prompt service. As part of DiBiase installation protocol, Tan came to the house 1 week after installation to complete a full review of all systems and to help me develop strategies for effective cooling throughout the house. He spent considerable time testing and optimizing the unit, discussed operation of the unit and provided education related warranties, proper filters, and mechanical functions. Nathan was on time and demonstrating a lot of experience. I asked to have the drain line rerouted in the basement, and despite challenges in th e ceiling area, he handled it well. Everything was tied down tightly. He walked me through all parts of his work to ensure I was satisfied.
