The valve on oil tank is a fire omatic valve that is stuck OPEN. Tried multiple times to close valve. Filter and strainer cannot be replaced until new valve is installed. We will provide email estimate to pull tank into vacuum and install new valve. Tank is 50 years old so you the other option is to replace the oil tank altogether with new valve. Completed remainder of tune up procedures. Replaced 16x25x1 air filter Cleaned heat exchanger. Only minimal soot and some rust in heat exchanger. Inspected all burner components. Cad cell eye is glazed over. Provided email estimate to replace. Nozzle is .50 80A or what is currently in there is Steinen. 50 80 HT. Measured temperature rise Combustion and draft tests pass. Open return. For this applications there must be return ducts ducted to appliance from the living space. As it is, the return air will influence the draft and combustion of the furnace. System operating ok but needs new oil tank or at very least new tank valve.
Completed heat tune up for natural gas furnace. Homeowners will replace 20x25x4 filter soon Inspected heat exchanger, burners, flue pipe, inducer assembly and hoses. Propane burners are very corroded. There have already been no heat issues caused by burners back to 2023. Burners are worse now. I removed buildup of rust from crossover ports. Strongly recommend upgrading burners to stainless steel. Inspected hot surface ignitor and verified resistance with meter Cleaned flame sensor and verified flame rectification circuit Measured temperature rise and static pressure Checked wiring, controls, electric motors and components; there are no surge protectors; left estimate for a surge protector for each of the 2 main circuits of system Checked manifold gas pressure; there is an appliance connector inside furnace compartment. Performed quality assurance check. Tested unit operation and checked all the DIP switch settings along with the quality of work done regarding the install system to manufacture specifications at this time. The unit needed to be cleaned up again inside. I collected check
Quality assurance check all dip switches,tested system analyzed the install quality of work, operation system is currently running . customers happy with the work .schrader valve caps on the outdoor unit were loose unit needed to be cleaned up inside, and switches needed to be adjusted.
Performed precision heat tune up on trane heat pump system. Homeowner replaces 14x25x1 air filter. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked temperature rise. Found only 14-2 power wire feeding 5 kw in air handler. Power wire should be a 10-2 with a 30 amp double pole breaker. Also found aqua guard water detection switch in pa recommend upgrading to wet switch. Inspected evaporation coil. Tested outdoor capacitor. Checked 410a refrigerant pressures. Provided estimate to install surge protector on mini split system. Found a spot inside condenser coil where aluminum fins were ripped off possibly because of an I’ve chunk in side. No damage to pipping inside though. Did not heat any loud cluck from heat pump while on site. Heat pump is working properly at time of service.

Luis 12-3-25 customer has a Rheem tankless water heater propane. It does not fire all the time code 11 I check venting, inlet gas pressures. Propane, gas pressure coming in as 11 inches water column. I will probably increase that about 13 inches water column. Also, I will recommend getting rid of the concentric kit and run 3 inch venting to the outside for intake and exhaust. Customer will take care of those tasks. If customers still has issues, further troubleshooting will be required. Office to decide if we work on this type of equipment.
I arrived to the customers home for a water leak on the furnace. The threads on the bar fitting coming out of furnace into the PVC was loose not very tight. The system is about five years old. I remove the fitting put some Teflon tape on it and tightened back into the PVC water tested the system no water at this time. I collected for $164.52 paid by cc.
Installed new trane gas furnace and A/C coil. Built new return and supply. Tapped/caulked return and supply. Adapted high volt and installed new outlet and switch. Adapted gas line and flue pipes. Ran new condensate line with ez trap and condensate pump. Ran new vinyl from condensate pump to sump pump located in basement. Installed new t6 thermostat and wired low volt with safeties. Ran new line set and connected to new equipment. Installed new A/C outdoor on leveled pad. Installed new disconnect with surge protector and wired into outdoor unit. Cleaned up work are and tested our equipment. To come to test AC.

Barry was very thorough. He found an issue we were not aware of and though he had already been here a couple hours services our heating system, he reached out to his supply department to ensure they had parts in stock. He then left to pick up those parts, came back and installed them. Talk about taking care of the customer. Barry is awesome at customer service.
