On October 6, I conducted a thorough quality assurance inspection on a recently installed mini split system. I examined both the indoor and outdoor units, confirming that the installation was executed to high standards. The customer had some queries regarding the operation of the controller, so I provided a detailed demonstration on how to use it effectively. After the demonstration, I tested the system's operation and found it to be functioning correctly. Additionally, I noted that the breaker for the outdoor unit is rated at 40 amps. The quality assurance check was successful, and I recommended that management review the breaker rating to determine if a replacement is necessary.

On October 5, I conducted a comprehensive heat pump checkup on a two-stage Amana communication system, rated at 3 tons. I inspected and tested all electrical connections, both low and high voltage, and replaced the 20 x 20 x 1 air filter. The humidifier was serviced, and the humidifier pad was replaced. Backup heat at 10 kW was tested and found to be operational. Refrigerant levels and pressures were checked, and the control board was verified to be functioning correctly. No error codes were present, and the system cycled properly.

Luis 9-14-26 Customer called in for no cooling and blank thermostat. Check system operation found water inside auxiliary pan, water sensor activated. Check drain system, filter and refrigerant system. Filter will need to be change, refrigerant levels ok. Found drain trap clogged. I provided estimate for repairs and recommendations. Customer decided to replace ez trap with float style. After replacement of trap test system operation ok. Water sensor took longer than normal to reset. I informed customer about this issue. Customer does it want to replace sensor at this time. Cycle ac system ok. System is back in operation. Luis 9-1-26 Perform gas heat tuneup on a Amana 96+ condensing furnace (2018) check system operation inspect and check all electrical connections and components, clean burners sensor check low and high gas stages. Perform combustion test check supply and turn your temperatures inspect air filter 413 OK at this time. Test condensation pump very difficult to clean, customer aware. Customer has old humidifier, I provided estimate to upgrade to new version. I also provided estimate for recommendations. Adding surge protection and drain protection, when humidifier drain lot of that water ends on drain pan for coils. I provided estimate to separate drain lines.

Luis 8-21-26 Return visit to re attached binding wire back to gas line. Customer also showed me ductwork patch that was not sealed. I used foil tape to seal gaps, I also collected final remaining balance for installation. Check # 2140

07/15/2026 10:30:24 AM - Best Best system for performance, comfort, and value. Luis 8-17-26 return visit to troubleshoot unit. I was able to get unit running main issue was low voltage wiring. After correcting wiring test system operation ok, I performed quality assurance during same visit. I added 1 lb of refrigerant extra to match manufacturer specifications. Office to follow up with customer.

I arrived to the customers home to look at the outdoor unit fan motor for their brand new system . I turned the system on and found the compressor will run, but not the fan motor. I pulled my disconnect and let my system sit for a few minutes. I did check my resistance on my fan motor and it’s not open. I talked to Andrew and we’re going to go ahead and order a board and a fan motor to be safe no charge for today. This is a brand new install. The office will be in touch with the customers on Monday.

Luis 8-3-26 Customer called in for no cooling, found thermostat off upon arrival. Customer stated lines were frozen. I check system operation, current system is from 2002 and uses r22. Check refrigerant levels, air filter air delivery blower. Found refrigerant levels to be low, I explain to customer we no longer carry this type of refrigerant, System currently not operational and requires recommended repairs and has passed normal life expectancy. Replacement of system is strongly recommended.
