Measure temperature rise, static pressure. Electrical low and high voltage. Performed combustion test. Found heater off upon arrival, found rollout wiring disconnected, (neighbor came around yesterday and cleaned sensor probably by accident wire came off) connected wire back in place and test operation, condensation pump drain goes outside. Luis 2-6-26. Customer called in for heat pump not working properly outside Keeps short cycling. I found outdoor heat on locked out on low pressure. I reset the unit unit starts and takes few seconds to go off on low pressure switch. I was able to keep the unit runout by manually closing contactor. After troubleshooting system found system has a leak and also there’s a restriction in the system. After discussing situation with customer, he wants to get an estimate to replace system. Home comfort consultant to come out tomorrow morning between 9 and 10.

Customer just wanted to have his boiler looked at wasn’t sure if it’s working correctly or not. He’s leaving for Florida and didn’t want to leave his wife with the house that wasn’t heating . I arrived to the customers home to look at his Weil McLain ultra boiler it’s 6 yrs old. I went through the system with the customer. I checked each floor at the baseboard heat and all were given about 124°to 128° heat, I went to the boiler and the boiler temperature was 170° and the water pressure was 18 psi. I did find some baseboard heat were closed off I opened the louvers. They There are  no active error codes on the ultra boiler . He has the boiler thermostat setpoint at 69° which it was satisfied.  No issues with the boiler . Please check to see when he is scheduled for his heat check up. I collected for $190.00 for tonight paid by check

I arrived to the customers home to service their 10 yr old rheem 95% gas furnace system. 
I started with checking the air filter and found good, I did leave a filter on hand.  The filter size is 16x25x1. I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I inspected and tested the  burners , flame sensor and the spark igniter. I water tested all tubing and hoses. I inspected the exhaust and fresh air pipe for restrictions and bellies. I inspected the inducer and the blower motor operation. I checked and tested for combustion and took temp rise splits at the return and the supply. Everything is running fine at this time of service. 
It needs a 0.30” pressure switch, I left the system as is from when Kurt was here the system is running fine . Will collect payment when we get the correct pressure switch.

2nd floor zone is also air bound.
I changed out the zone valve head to verify whether it is the power head or the valve itself. Unfortunately the valve itself is stuck closed. Getting no flow through the hydronic zone at all.
This valve needs to be replaced altogether and the system purged. 
Made (2) estimates.
1. Minimal repairs: Replace zone valve and purge hydronic loop
2. minimal repairs plus replace air eliminator head and auto air vent

She agreed to do everything (zone valve+ air elimination head+auto air vent+ purge zone. 

I collected for half of balance of repair plus diagnostic fee today.
We will communicate and schedule to return to complete work.

Found venting open and condensation drain no reason for low pressure switch to be open. Jumped out w1 and w2 together on circuit board for now. Also jumpeded high and low pressure switch wiring together. Now furnace is staying running. Need to locate pressure switches and provide customer with quote. Customer has heat at this time.

Made heavy demand for heat at all 3 indoor heads and measured temperature rise at all 3 heads.
Found be be (25°-32°) supply temps ranging from 95-99°: Good
Also checked liquid pressure with refrigerant probe. 288 psi with Outdoor Temperature 24°F.: Good

When outdoor temperatures are in the single digits overnight the unit WILL have to go into defrost cycles where the indoor units shut off for periods up to 20 minutes. The light will flash on mode heads during normal defrost cycles. 

I also told them to always make sure the remotes are set to the same mode. It will not work if remotes are set to different modes.

When outdoor temperatures are in the single digits overnight the unit WILL have to go into defrost cycles where the indoor units shut off for periods up to 20 minutes. The light will flash on mode heads during normal defrost cycles. 

I also told them to always make sure the remotes are set to the same mode. It will not work if remotes are set to different modes.

When arriving to the Weil McLain 22 yr old oil fired boiler, I found all three zones were calling for heat.  zone one zone two and zone 4 which is domestic hot water. I checked my Aqua stat and found I have 120 V coming into stat ,  120 volts for the oil burner but nothing out for circulator. I Quoted customer for a new aqua stat , she approved the repair . I Replaced the aqua stat and turned  the system back on . The oil burner tried to fire but cut out and then it would try again. The circulator is working again through the aqua stat and the burner is holding 120 volts. but the burner can’t light off. After further diagnosis we found the primary control failed on the oil burner. I had a primary control on my truck that would replace that failed control. I gave the customer a price for the primary control. She approved that as well. Once the new part was installed we retested the system and made sure all parameters were set correctly. I checked all my tubing, checked my water trap and the vacuum pole on the inducer for the pressure switch. I could not replicate issue again. Customer will monitor the system to see if it drops out again if it does, possibly will need to replace the pressure switches on the furnace. I collected for the service contract renewal, and diagnostic for tonight.  
We could set up the customer for his first heat check up and then see how the system is running at that time as well.

Luis 12-15-25 customer called in for intermittent issue with heat, upon arrival customer stated he has to go down to condensation pump and move it, once he move the pump unit comes on. I test pump couple times it did not failed on me. Customer also stated he has to do that couple times per day. According to customer statement would recommend replacing pump. Customer approved repairs. After replacement of pump, test operation of pump ok. Wired safety to heater I also added 3/4 pvc union for service purposes, cycle heater and unit did not failed any time. System is working properly at the time of service.

I inspected all components and discovered oil filter to be in bad shape as well as electrodes. Provided estimate to replace those items. Customer approved repairs. After repairs test boiler operation ok performed combustion and smoke test ok. Check oil due pressure 140 psi. Test transformer ok. Customer signed up for oil boiler service plan. We will come some time next month for cleaning, I did provide estimate to replace two vents that are no longer working. Boiler is working and heating. New nozzle oil filter pump strainer and electrodes were installed today’s visit, customer signed up for service plan oil boiler. Office will follow up with customer to schedule cleaning.

Riley and I arrived to install new burner tubes for the customers furnace and install a new solenoid Valve for the 600 humidifier with a humidifier rebuild kit . We shut power off to the system. Riley installed the burner tubes and i replaced the solenoid valve and the humidifier 600 rebuild kit. I checked for water leaks .humidifier is back up and running. I removed all of the 10 inch round metal and ran r8 10 inch flex from the dehumidifier to the return. I secured each end with wire ties and tightened and secured with strapping if needed . I turned the dehumidifier back on to the system.  Customer said there’s no more noise very quiet. Customers very happy with the results. no charge under warranty.

I started with checking the air filter and replaced , the filter size is 20x20x1 supplied by the customer. I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. Install went well. A new heat pump was installed to replace a 20 year old AC system. The installers got to my house on time and got everything installed by the end of the day and it was tested and it works well so far, both heating and cooling. The installer was professional and pointed out some features about the blower in the attic and the outside unit. Great job. Couldn't be happier with what was done.

We’ve had a different technician almost every time annd they’ve all been great! I’m old school. I believe in good service, being on time, and most of all, honesty. Kurt went out of his way late Saturday night to help with hvac issue at my home. It was going to be cold/snowy out tonight and honestly felt like he wanted to come out and help. When he arrived he was more than respectful, friendly and personable. My very curious 2 year old and him had a full conversation in the basement while he was doing his test. Ultimately , the problem was fixed and he left a great first impression for DiBiase. I will be asking for him for any future visits if needed.

I could not be happier with DeBiase. Our furnace was having issues yesterday, and Kurt is the technician who helped us on day one. He replaced a couple things trying to get our furnace running. Without explaining in a long drawn out story, on day 2, there was a big problem that came from replacing one of those parts. And it really wasn’t anyone’s fault, just bad luck. So Dan came by day 2. It was a pretty unusual problem. He went above and beyond with checking/cleaning everything, and got the furnace working. The cleaning isn’t “perfect” but it’s an imperfect scenario. Both techs were very thorough and professional. Their work was clean, they were honest, and personable. Felt like these guys really care about the customer, and the quality of work they deliver. I didn’t sign up for a contract or anything yet, but I will not be going anywhere else for my HVAC needs in the future. Thanks again, guys.

My furnace stopped working Sunday night 11/24. I called DIBIASE 1st thing Monday morning. They were excellent in sending a service technician over right away. Unfortunately the technician had no idea how to troubleshoot my furnace. He said the reason it wasn’t working was due to my licensed electrician installed a dimmer switch 5ft. From my thermostat that he caused the power to be cut off from my thermostat by installing the dimmer incorrectly shorting out my thermostat. So, I had my electrician return on 11/26 at $160/hour. He rechecked his wiring and told me it was so totally impossible that the dimmer light switch would cause my thermostat not to work as with very little inspection told me THE LIGHT SWITCH AND THE THERMOSTAT ARE ON 2 SEPARATE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS WIRED TO 2 SEPARATE CIRCUIT BREAKERS IN MY BOX! Why didn’t Tim know this? Why did he advise me to call my electrician to return to fix a light switch to repair my furnace? I’m not paying $84.15 service call fee and due to the very poor advise from DiBiase’s technician DiBiase needs to reimburse me for a useless visit from my electrician charge for $160.00. CALL ME ASAP TO STRAIGHTEN THESE EXPENSES OUT. Thomas Matyjasik
