Fully assessed water leaking situation on humidifier. Opened up humidifier and found feed tube was not installed correctly by homeowner it was over top of the humidifier tray. Showed homeowner this and installed correctly. Took static pressure readings when only the top floor zone was calling. Return after the filter static and before the coil was 1.7. Over all static was 1.3 w.c.. made adjustments in cool cloud from from 83% on high stage to 81%. Also adjusted trim from zero to -4%. This is as low as the high stage can be adjusted. Talked to management about possibly of using a pressure switch to open up the solenoid when the static becomes to high. Our office to provide a solution. Customer is not happy at this time and wanted the humidifier issue resolved today.

Found power monitor at outdoor unit not powered.
L1 to ground 123V
L2 to ground 123V
L1 to L2 0V

Turned breaker (30A GE) to outdoor unit off then back on. Then had 244V to power monitor.
No error codes in outdoor unit history.
System came on after power monitor delay. 3 Min.
Ran for 10 minutes pulling 10A well within the range of the 30A breaker.

Took door off panel and checked tightness/torque of breaker lugs.

Installed Ecobee pro. Set compressor lockout to 20°F.

During last test out found 0V at power monitor again. Resetting breaker did nothing. I can hear buzzing in panel. They are going to call electrician.

Lowered fan speed to the low side of the 4Ton profiles based on noise level.

Only thing to do to finish QA will be to check refrigerant charge and temperature rise. System is down until electrical issues are resolved.

I arrived for a comfort issue no heat on a Amana 80% furnace 7 yrs old. I looked at Margaret’s thermostats and both were set for 74° and 58° in house. I went to the gas furnace in the closet on the 2nd level and I could hear the blower motor screaming. The blower was running but not the burners. Found the 413 air filter was clogged solid with fine dust. I checked my static with the clogged filter at 1.83” and the new filter at 1.02” . I checked overall operation. The system is back up and running. The temp is at 66° and rising. I had told Margaret that she’s going to need to change the 413 air filter more frequently in between our seasonal visits. She’s going to order the filters online. Today I collect 241.67paid by cc.

4 Ton Heat pump dates to 2016 with oil furnace auxiliary dates to 2001.

Found high voltage wire disconnected from contactor terminal and terminal itself thoroughly burnt.
This contactor has been replaced once by another contactor.
Megaohm test: Pass reading within good. 70/7.5uF capacitor Good,

After installing new contactor. I found that the low pressure switch on refrigerant system was open even though I had 116 psi pressure standing.
The switch closed when I lightly tapped on the body of the switch. Pressure switch is intermittently locking out system. The switch itself is faulty I bypassed for now and left estimate to install a remote low pressure switch at the service port.

Refrigerant pressures 351/98 outdoor temperature 41°F matches manufacturer target suction pressure for 40-45°F day. See photos of charts.

Recommend upgrading system oil furnace and heat pump. The heat pump sits close to roof and there are no gutters so ice falls on heat pump. Make sure we off the weather

Luis 1-3-26 customer called in for no heat from recently installed heat pump. Found unit off upon arrival set thermostat to heat and test operation low voltage ok. Getting 24 volts between y and c on outdoor, error code f1, I troubleshoot unit, ohm sensors, ambient, discharge and coil sensor all within range. Fan start for little bit, then I can hear compressor try to start but it won’t start. I check resistance across three winding. .3 between all three, book calls for .4 to .5 we need to contact tech support for further assistance.

1/6/26
Restored power and found error code 0d… Discharge Temperature sensor fault
Checked ohm value of discharge sensor and compared to chart value.
Ohmed out ok 26000 ohms. 43°F
Cleaned discharge pipe on compress and the temp sensor itself.
Pressures 277/82 with 43° outdoor temperature. Matches chart.
Temperature rise 69-91. Good
Did not observe any error codes or issue. System ran for approximately 45 minutes.

System operating well at this time.
