Luis is competent and professional

Luis 9-8-25 Performed precision heat tune up on amana 100000 btu 80% gas furnace. Replaced 14x25x1 air filter. Checked all electrical conections and components. Cleaned flame sensor. Checked gas pressures. Checked temperature rise. Performed combustion test. Gas furnace is working fine at time of inspection. Provided estimate to add whole house humidifier and air cleaner

Homeowner explained that the last 3 billing cycles his bill has tripled. Homeowners moved in 3 years ago. Equipment is 5 Ton Heat pump with 20KW electric heat kit. Installed 7/2012. Used York warranty website to determine install date. 20x22x1 filter ok When I arrived I checked condition of filter. Then took air side temperature measurements. Return 71°F Supply 61.5°F = 9.5° Split. Went to check refrigerant pressures. Ethan (homeowner) then explained that Complete services was here and charged the unit 3# R410A in early July. Pressures were ok. 6.4°SC No drain safeties wired in. Left estimate for EZ trap and wire in pump safety. Vinyl tubing ran outside. There is a humidifier it will freeze in winter. Left estimate to run vinyl tubing inside to a new barb in plumbing. Found indoor amps to be 22A. Electric heat sequencer stuck closed. I traced out which element and sequencer had current. Detached the corresponding lead wire and wrapped in electrical tape, and tuned system back o

Found small clog in dehumidifier drain line. Unscrewed 3/4” male cap (hand tight) Forced cable tie through trap and water immediately began flowing. Flushed drain with gallon H20. Also made sure HVAC trap and drainwere clear. Also cleaned filter. Dehumidifier working well at this time. Dried area as best as possible. Recommend putting a floor fan to speed up drying any moisture on the floor. Also recommend leaving door between mechanical room and newly finished “workout” room open. Will help keep humidity in that room at bay.

Completed QA for 80,000 BTU natural gas furnace: Inspected all aspects of install. Ductwork connections, mechanical, wiring, piping etc. Verified fan speed settings for heat and cooling. 2 Ton AC. During the process I discussed adding a surge protector to the outdoor unit. We installed surge protector for blower motor of new furnace. She agreed. Completed work today. 08/29/25 Dan Gas furnace tuneup on a 90% furnace , the system is 10 months old . I Checked the air filter and replaced the 413 supplied by the customer. I also serviced the humidifier during the check up. I Checked the wiring connections and the voltages . Flushed the drain lines and furnace traps. Inspected the burners and flame sensors and cleaned . Inspected the flue pipes for leaks and bellies. checked the thermostat in heating mode and checked the gas pressures and the furnace safeties. checked the motor amps on the inducer operation and blower motors. Took indoor heat temp rise and tested for combustion on the system. The furnace is in good working order at this time of service. I looked at the a/c and found pressures to be fine . I have a 16 sh and 9 sc . Temps were good. Issue may have been the air filter , it was dirty. Both sides of the system are running fine at this time service
Barry was incredibly informative, courteous, and thorough.

Completed QA for 3 ton Heat pump install. Inspected all aspects of install: Mechanical, wiring, ductwork connections, drain and refrigerant piping. 20x23x1 filter is clean. Airflow set for 408CFM/Ton Temperature split 71.5-53.3 Walk through with homeowner the function of EZ trap and how to clean drain. Checked refrigerant charge. Configured power motor to open in .5 seconds after an under/over voltage event. Currently thermostat can’t support heat pump/hydronic heat at up. He is aware that he will need thermostat upgrade if he wants to use heat pump. He noticed mold on inside of flex duct collar on the one supply trunk 14x8. He would like us to provide estimate to replace the flex collar with sheet metal fittings. I took photos of supply duct. There is a box with enough space to work with. Would require (2) 45° (14”x8”) and a new piece of 14x8. May be other options as well. He also would like estimate to do a sediment filter for his well water. He’s not interested In more compr

Barry was prompt and professional in the service of our hvac system. We’re pleased with DiBiase and their technicians and will continue working with them.

QA for 2 Ton AC with 60,000BTU funace install. Filter size 14x25x1 Installed AG3000 surge protector at outdoor equipment disconnect. Inspected all aspects of install: Mechnical, wiring, control settings, gas, flue, drain and refrigerant piping. Measured temperature split in cooling. Checked refrigerant pressures/charge. Tested drain safeties. Only issue was low voltage wiring. They jumpered W1 and W2 at board which will take staging out of the equation..will run in high stage only. On Goodman 2-stage furnaces with single stage thermostat: Land white conductor on W1 and set the AHS (Automatic Heat staging) option on control to 10 or 20 min or Auto. Page 29 in manual. The other thing I saw was they used the wrong airflow chart in the manual. The model number here is GR9T.. Install passes quality assurance.
