Customers cooling setpoint is 78° during day and he drops it to 76° overnight. Humidity stays at 60% as read by Ecobee thermostat. Noticed thermostat was displaying humidity of 64% but my psychrometer was reading 54% I took thermostat off and put back on. It went through an 8 min calibration and thermostat reading close to my psychrometer now. I started by setting “AC Overcool Max” on Ecobee to 2° Then selected “Dehumidify using AC” and set target to 54%. Effectively this will run the AC and overcool 2° beyond the setpoint in the interest of getting humidity down to 54%. We are telling the equipment “continue to run the AC to dehumidify” Also enabled accelerated cooling/heating at outdoor control and diaboled adaptive capacity. This will result in the indoor coil temperature dropping quicker thereby increasing dehumidification. Fan Speeds: 1134 CFM in 1st Stage 1288 CFM in 2nd Stage. Good Temperature split 20.5° Good The humidity could be related to a building performance issue.
Completed QA for 3 Ton Bosch inverter heat pump install. Filter size is 18x20x1; clean Went over all aspects of install: mechanical, wiring, controls, configuration, refrigeration charge. Accelerated cooling is enabled and adaptive capacity is disabled using outdoor control. I addressed water safety issues (wiring and filed wet switch) on a service call 6/12/26 Wrapped trap in foam insulation tape. 8° SC when it ramps up to 70+ Hz Temperature split 20° Install passes QA inspection
Completed QA for 3 Ton Bosch inverted heat pump install. Inspected all aspects: mechanical, wiring, controls, ductwork connections, piping, etc. Accelerated cooling and heating is enabled. Adaptive capacity disabled. Using outdoor control. (2) Water safeties are wired and configured to produce custom alerts. Refrigerant charge and temperature split: Good. Cycled on 6/12/26 Wrapped ez trap in foam insulation tape Install passes QA.
Completed QA for install Propane Furnace/heat pump hybrid. Replaced 16x25x1 filter Inspected all aspects of install: mechanical, ductwork connections, wiring, controls, etc Equipment not properly grounded the ground was landed on the receptacle at the 4x4 box but not to the found of the funace controls. Added ground today. Furnace breaker not labeled in panel *was labeled Refer… Changed heating fan speed from, 1830 to 1620 Wired (3) water safeties so they produce custom alerts and disable heating cooling and dehumidification and enable fan. Power monitor settings: Over-voltage: 264; under-voltage: 216, delay: 2 seconds, restore: 3 min (180 sec). Furnace combustion tests: Pass. Unit was running at 2.9° SC in second stage. I added 33 oz r454B to get to 10° SC. Outdoor temperature 80°. Unit was installed end of April so understand that it is t charged perfect Install passes QA. Pay attention to grounding!

7/8/26. Fully assessed no cooling situation. Found thermostat was going blank every so often. Went up in attic and found dirt in drain line that was causing the ez trap float switch to shut off the system. Tried calling several phone numbers to get a hold of someone to talk about the clogged drain line this is not covered under warranty our office to bill out. Cleared drain line.
7/7/26 Installed ZapPro surge protector at outdoor equipment contactor inside service panel. Installed VZPro surge protector for indoor blower motor. Replaced REME air cleaner cell. Tested system afterwards Aprilaire 413 filter Good Temperature split 21° System operating well at this time. Homeowner paid balance today,
7/2/26. Fully assessed no cooling situation. Found after talking to homeowner that the indoor blower would not run but the outside a/c would continue to run. Found a B4 and B6 error code in the history. This is a blower motor not communicating with circuit board code. This code can be caused by low voltage coming in causing a communication error. Voltage coming into furnace is very low at 112v this can cause communication error due to the high demand of everyone running there a/cs. Told customer all you can do is try to reset it until the demand goes down if the problem still occurs we will need to see if it’s a board or blower motor. System is working properly at time of service.
