Completed heat tune up for 100,000 BTU natural gas furnace. (Furnace installed Oct. 2022; AC Installed July 2019) Replaced 16x25x1 filter; was very dirty recommend replacing once every 2-3 months provided estimate for Air ranger electrostatic filter. This filter assembly powered by 24V acts as a MERV 14 filter. Replace media every 3-4 months. Indoor and outdoor coils in good condition Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components; left estimate for surge protector for outdoor equipment circuit Inspected heat exchanger, burners, flue pipe, inducer assembly and hoses Inspected hot surface ignitor and verified resistance with meter Cleaned flame sensor and verified flame rectification circuit Measured temperature rise and static pressure Checked mainofold gas pressure Inspected drain and pump. Cleared EZ trap and flushed with water. System does not have a wet switch. This switch would shut equipment down if water makes its way on floor near equipment. Provided email estim
Completed AC tune up for 5 Ton Lennox heat pump system. Equipment is propane furnace/heat pump hybrid System is 12 years old. Filter Replaced in February; in good condition Indoor coil had refrigerant oil on the top right side. Conducted electronic leak search and found leak at top of A coil. Showed homeowner video of this. Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components; left estimates for surge protectors Measured temperature split and static pressure Inspected drains; drain, tested pump; added treatment tabs to pump. Left previous estimate to replace pump and tubing. Checked integrity of compressor motor (mega ohm test) Assessed refrigerant charge checked pressures. 2.8° Subcooling. Refrigerant pressures and date indicate and undercharge which correlates to finding leak at indoor coil. Provided 2 estimates 1. Charge system up to 2# R410A refrigerant. Replaced 20x25x5 filter provided by homeowners Inspected heat exchanger, burners, flue pipe, inducer assembly and hoses Inspected hot surface ignitor and verified resistance with meter Cleaned flame sensor and verified flame rectification circuit Measured temperature rise and static pressure Checked wiring, controls, electric motors and components; there are no surge protectors; left estimate for a surge protector for each of the 2 main circuits of system. Also provided estimate for Honeywell S1200 thermostat for better control of aux heat lockout. Current thermostat is a NEST. Checked manifold gas pressure Inspected drain and pump. As previously noted vinyl discharge tubing of condensate pump is in bad condition. Left estimate to replace condensate pump and vinyl tubing. We will run new vinyl tubing to the 3” plumbing to make freeze proof will allow for use of humidifier. As of last couple years humidifier is not
• Shut off gas to manifold • Remove old burners • Install and properly align new burners • Turn on gas tp manifold • Test operation of system 2/26/26 Barry Replaced (5) Burners under parts warranty. Also cleaned and inspected flame sensor. Verified ignitor ohm reading. Afterwards tested system. Gas pressure, combustion analysis and flame sense/rectification. System operating well at this time.
Found burners not lighting across. Cleaned for now. This furnace has a 10 year part warranty. We will provide a quote for labor only replacement of the burners. Also cleaned flame sensor, checked gas pressures, checked ignitor condition and ohm value of ignitor. We were here 4 days ago. Did not charge diagnostic today. Cycled system several times after cleaning burners. System operating well at this time.
Luis 2-13-26 • replace two stage inducer motor under part warranty, removed old one and installed new one. Test operation and check amp draw ok. Cycle heater ok.
Fully assessed no heating situation. Found system calling for heat when I arrived and running on heat pump. System is a hybrid system from 2015. ( homeowner mentioned to me the system is still under parts warranty. Went outside to check 410a refrigerant pressures they were 300/67. Switched system to emergency heat and found inducer motor sounds terrible. This is a 2 speed inducer motor. Our office to check part warranty on this inducer motor and provide estimate to replace motor. System is at the point would consider replacement. System is working at this time but don’t know how long.
Completed heat tune up for natural gas furnace. Replaced 16x20x1 filter; they are using MERV 13. I recommend using MERV 8. If you use MERV 13, replace monthly Inspected heat exchanger, burners, flue pipe, inducer assembly and hoses Inspected hot surface ignitor and verified resistance with meter Cleaned flame sensor and verified flame rectification circuit Measured temperature rise and static pressure Checked wiring, controls, electric motors and components; there are no surge protectors; left estimate for a surge protector for each of the 2 main circuits of system. There is 18/5 wire between thermostat and furnace. The yellow conductor is not being used. I determined by testing that there must be a break in the yellow conductor somewhere which is why the green conductor is used for the Y1 contact. Therefore they do not have control of use of fan. Basement 40A Good Measured temperature rise and static pressure Observed both systems defrost cycle. Assessed refrigerant charge checked R454B pressures. Good Both heat pump systems are operating well at this time.
