Found burners not lighting across. Cleaned for now. This furnace has a 10 year part warranty. We will provide a quote for labor only replacement of the burners. Also cleaned flame sensor, checked gas pressures, checked ignitor condition and ohm value of ignitor. We were here 4 days ago. Did not charge diagnostic today. Cycled system several times after cleaning burners. System operating well at this time.
Luis 2-13-26 • replace two stage inducer motor under part warranty, removed old one and installed new one. Test operation and check amp draw ok. Cycle heater ok.
Fully assessed no heating situation. Found system calling for heat when I arrived and running on heat pump. System is a hybrid system from 2015. ( homeowner mentioned to me the system is still under parts warranty. Went outside to check 410a refrigerant pressures they were 300/67. Switched system to emergency heat and found inducer motor sounds terrible. This is a 2 speed inducer motor. Our office to check part warranty on this inducer motor and provide estimate to replace motor. System is at the point would consider replacement. System is working at this time but don’t know how long.
Completed heat tune up for natural gas furnace. Replaced 16x20x1 filter; they are using MERV 13. I recommend using MERV 8. If you use MERV 13, replace monthly Inspected heat exchanger, burners, flue pipe, inducer assembly and hoses Inspected hot surface ignitor and verified resistance with meter Cleaned flame sensor and verified flame rectification circuit Measured temperature rise and static pressure Checked wiring, controls, electric motors and components; there are no surge protectors; left estimate for a surge protector for each of the 2 main circuits of system. There is 18/5 wire between thermostat and furnace. The yellow conductor is not being used. I determined by testing that there must be a break in the yellow conductor somewhere which is why the green conductor is used for the Y1 contact. Therefore they do not have control of use of fan. Provided email estimate for Honeywell S1200 Elite Pro thermostat with EIM (equipment interface module) which will allow for control of fan

Noise issue is ticking and banging sounds related to the ductwork expanding. Only happens in heating mode. Static pressure .86” in heating and fan speeds are correct. There is no loud banging close to equipment that is commonly heard when there is a severe underside or an improperly supported return duct. We opened (3) basement supply grilles in an attempt to alleviate sound issue. Unfortunately the ductwork is covered by drywall ceiling can’t assess ductwork orientation 100,000 BTU Gas furnace. . Furnace drain is ran as a tube to a floor drain to the sump and is double trapped draining slowly. The 2” standpipe sticking up leading to sump is too high to allow for hard piping the drain to that point so a condensate pump with receptacle and vinyl discharge tubing and the adapter fitting to go from funace drain tubing to 3/4” pvc would be needed. Provided estimate to pipe furnace drain to the pump and discharge to the floor drain. We can keep the AC drain directly fed to the sump st

Luis was here on time. He came on a Sunday night for which I am very thankful, and did an excellent job of getting my air back on very quickly.
Very impressed. Called mid day with a concern. The office staff was helpful and efficient. Received same day service and an immediate fix. Would definitely recommend. Our tech Barry was quick efficient, fixed the issue and made suggestions. Thank you Barry and team.
I have used another company for the last 30+ years and when I needed this HVAC servicing quickly was told it would be sometime in September (now July). I asked a friend who they used that was reliable and they said "Barry with DiBoise" was their preferred technician and company by far. I called got an appointment quickly. Barry was not only extremely good technically but also was excellent at explaining to me why and how the service steps would help improve the operation of my HVAC as he performed the Service. I heartily recommend DiBoise and hope you are lucky enough also to get Barry!
