Luis was here on time. He came on a Sunday night for which I am very thankful, and did an excellent job of getting my air back on very quickly.

Sunday night 9 pm Luis 9-14-25 customer called in for no cooling upon arrival found up indoor unit running but no outdoor found manual high pressure switch open, reset switch and test operation, check refrigerant levels and pressures, inspect indoor and outdoor coils. I was able to find some signs of dye on indoor coil and outdoor coil as well. Provided estimate for repairs. Would recommend getting an estimate to replace system, customer will need to do repairs or replacement to maintain system working properly. Emailed estimate for repairs. Home comfort consultant to come to provide estimate on a new system.

Homeowner had condensate pump safety issues starting about. 2 Weeks go. Ultimately replaced his own pump. When I arrived today. Found blown 3A fuse. Checked for any shorts. No shorts determined. Replaced 3A fuse Still no LEDs on board. 24V at transformer Made estimate for. New control board under parts warranty+surge protector Homeowner agreed collected for Plan membership renewal PLUS half of the cost of the estimate. Today: 488.16. We will collect balance once work is completed. (299.15) Control board is ordered by our warehouse. We will contact them to schedule as soon as board is in our hands. I also used ECM motor tester to make sure blower motor module is not shorted and powered the thermostat with 24V from thermostat. Thermostat display: Good. There is still a chance that one of the thermostat contacts is fried or shorted. We will determine this once control is replaced.

Installed EZ Trap, wet switch and blower surge protector. Installed new Trane 3 ton heat pump. Installed on 8” snow legs and new pad. Installed rectorseal power monitoring disconnect. Ducted Mitsubishi Minisplit. Attic Drain pan was full of water. 14x20x1 filter clean (MERV11) Float style safety switch shut equipment down. I used wet vac to remove water from drain pan…approximately 15 gallons h20. Made sure switch contacts closed. Cleared drain line with c02 gun then water as well as using cable tie to clear trap. There is no clean out at coil port and trap is difficult to clean. Left estimate for EZ trap with clean out and float style overfill protection switch. Also added a few rubber pads at a point to give proper pitch to the drain. Rewired system. Had to reset breakers and wait full 5 min before restoring power. Allowed system to run 10 min, Temperature split and refrigerant pressures Good System operating well at this time. Krissy approved repairs and allowed to charge card on file for invoice. Locked both door of area and placed key in envelope where it was when I got here per Krissy request

I have used another company for the last 30+ years and when I needed this HVAC servicing quickly was told it would be sometime in September (now July). I asked a friend who they used that was reliable and they said "Barry with DiBoise" was their preferred technician and company by far. I called got an appointment quickly. Barry was not only extremely good technically but also was excellent at explaining to me why and how the service steps would help improve the operation of my HVAC as he performed the Service. I heartily recommend DiBoise and hope you are lucky enough also to get Barry!
