Installed new Trane TAM air handler with Trane link thermostat and 10 kw heat kit. Adapted to existing electrical and metal. Installed unit in 30x60 pan. Replaced lineset and reused line hide.
Very impressed. Called mid day with a concern. The office staff was helpful and efficient. Received same day service and an immediate fix. Would definitely recommend. Our tech Barry was quick efficient, fixed the issue and made suggestions. Thank you Barry and team.

Ducted Mitsubishi Minisplit. Attic Drain pan was full of water. 14x20x1 filter clean (MERV11) Float style safety switch shut equipment down. I used wet vac to remove water from drain pan…approximately 15 gallons h20. Made sure switch contacts closed. Cleared drain line with c02 gun then water as well as using cable tie to clear trap. There is no clean out at coil port and trap is difficult to clean. Left estimate for EZ trap with clean out and float style overfill protection switch. Also added a few rubber pads at a point to give proper pitch to the drain. Rewired system. Had to reset breakers and wait full 5 min before restoring power. Allowed system to run 10 min, Temperature split and refrigerant pressures Good System operating well at this time. Krissy approved repairs and allowed to charge card on file for invoice. Locked both door of area and placed key in envelope where it was when I got here per Krissy request

I have used another company for the last 30+ years and when I needed this HVAC servicing quickly was told it would be sometime in September (now July). I asked a friend who they used that was reliable and they said "Barry with DiBoise" was their preferred technician and company by far. I called got an appointment quickly. Barry was not only extremely good technically but also was excellent at explaining to me why and how the service steps would help improve the operation of my HVAC as he performed the Service. I heartily recommend DiBoise and hope you are lucky enough also to get Barry!

Home inspector told her she needs to clean outdoor coil. Offered tune up and clean outdoor coil. 4Ton Lennox heat pump: 2 zones Ariel zoning Basement and Upstairs. Cleaned outdoor coil, includes disassembly of all hardware to access all (4) sides of coil. See uploaded photos of before and after. Ran system for 12 min after coil cleaning to allow refrigerant pressures to acclimate. Completed AC tune up: Replaced 20x25x1 air filter Indoor coil in good condition. There is a UV light system installed in supply plenum. Inspected wiring, control, electric motors Checked drains. Measured temperature split. Refrigerant pressures indicate slight undercharge of refrigerant. Subcooling is 1.7°. Target is 5° based on manufacturer chart and indoor coil matchup. Offered to charge system. She agreed. Added 17oz R410A refrigerant. Original pressures: 262/114 16°SH 1.3°SC Final pressures 274/112 14°SH 4.8°SC System operating well at this time. Homeowner paid for invoice today,

Completed QA for 2 Ton Trane heat pump for basement. Went over all aspects of install. Filter size in 20x23x1 Checked thermostat configuration: Aux heat lockout 35°. Good Inspected wiring, controls, fan speeds. It is set for 812 CFM. Installed blower motor surge protector. Measured temperature split (69-49) and static pressure. Checked refrigerant charge and diagnostics. Added 18oz R454B to get to design subcooling 12°. Install passes quality assurance.

Completed QA for 4 Ton Tran Inverter Heat pump. This is the main system. The (2) QA jobs were scheduled as 1st Floor and second floor. There is no such animal. Its main system and basement, Filter size 20x23x1 replace every 2 months. Showed Cheryl how to do it. Verified fan speed settings. Measured temperature split. Checked refrigerant pressures charge. Added 11.5 oz R454B to get to target subcooling. Was missing blower motor surge protector. Installed today. System cooled the house 4° (74-70) during 1 hour testing period. Tested condensate pump. Extended vinyl tubing and sleeved with 1/2” PVC outside to get water away from foundation of house. Checked Ecobee thermostat configuration. Install passes quality assurance inspection.

No cooling. 3 Ton Rheem heat pump Outdoor control has failed in such a way that the “Y Out” terminal does not have voltage. Therefore contactor does not close. I have proper voltage to the board. I directly wired Y to the contactor for now so it will work in cooling. We need to source and send estimate for replacement control. Refrigerant pressures ok. Attic equipment does not have water safeties. Left estimate for water safeties (Wet switch AND EZ trap) Need to replace board. System will operate in cooling for now. I discussed plan and the fact that he will save on future repairs including this one. Homeowners paid for plan membership and diagnostic fee today.

Upon arrival I performed diagnostic on ac system. Found indoor coil was frozen. Thawed coil and cycled at system. Checked refrigerant pressures and found they were low. Added 2LBs of refrigerant with uv dye. cycle system to ensure proper operation. System is operating appropriately at this time.

Completed QA for 3.5 Ton Trane R454B heat pump system. Auxiliary heat is oil fired hydronic. Filter size 14x30x1 in good condition Inspected all aspects of install, mechanical, wiring, ductwork connections, etc. Checked fan speed settings. Measured temperature split in cooling (72-53) Running at 9.3° SC with outdoor temperature 71° Install passes QA. I wrapped the EZ trap body and spliced the insulation on the suction line. But otherwise very good. Homeowner wants to know what has to happen to get tax credit.
