Job Locations and Reviews
Fully assed bypass humidifier install. Took photos. Drain is gravity into the sewer. Provided customer with estimate. Homeowner has another company to give one more estimate and will let us know.
Fully assessed no heating situation on crown oil furnace. Found furnace off when I arrived gave system a call for heat and found burner shutting off on primary control. Bled about a gallon of brown oil from system until I got red oil. Furnace fired up and continue to run. As the system was running, found circuit board started turning on and off burner repeatedly. Wiggled mole connection on circuit board and found that this was an issue also. Widen pins for now and made a more solid connection. Burner continued to stay running. Would recommend replacement of oil burner circuit board. Replaced oil filter pump screen and point60 x 60 W nozzle. Performed combustion test. Oil boiler is running for now our office to provide quote to replace circuit board.
Fully assessed no heating situation. Went up to rooftop system. Found no leds on control board. Checked for power at disconnect, found no 240 v. Went to breaker panel and found 40 amp breaker to rooftop was tripped. Reset breaker and tested operation of gas furnace, performed combustion test, everything was working correctly in heating mode. Switched over to cooling mode and found rooftop had 194 psi 410a. Found compressor locked up. Then tripped circuit breaker again. Our office to provide compressor replacement quote.
Nate and I out for a QA. Installed 1in flange valve for purge bled boiler and Tested all operation. All ok upon departure
Disconnected and removed indoor unit. Remounted wall bracket and reconnected high volt low volt condensate line and line set. Pressure tested line set and pulled vacuum. Released charge from outdoor unit and tested out equipment.
10/24/25 Dan I wrote for no heat. I found the furnace wouldn’t light all the way across to the other burners found burner tubes were very dirty. I quoted the customer for pulling the burner tubes and cleaning and testing. I also left a recommendation for replacing the five burner tubes with stainless steel, I got approval from the customer to clean the burners. I shut the system down remove my burner tubes. I checked the orifices for Clarence. Put the tubes back in once cleaned. Turn the system back on and tested system operation and combustion everything back at this time of service. I collected $ 330.01 paid by cc. The customer will review his estimate for the stainless steel burners.
10/24/25 Dan I arrived to the customers home to service their 15 yr old oil furnace system. I started with checking the air filter , the customer services his air filter, filter size is 16x25x5. I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I checked and replaced my strainer and nozzle , and replaced the garber oil filter. I inspected and set my electrodes for proper gapping for optimal performance. I inspected the flue pipe for corrosion and pitting. Inspected my heat exchanger and the chimney for clearance. I bled the oil burner and tested system for smoke and combustion. I took temp rise splits at the return and the supply. Everything is running fine at this time of service. Collected for oil furnace contract and for the garber oil filter total due $287.25 I inspected and tested the Bosch heat pump . New system is working fine .
Responded to service call about fan running constantly when thermostat was set to heat. Found that thermostat was wired incorrectly causing the unit to kick on the fan constantly. Upon arrival noticed that unit was leaning off the wall. Upon further inspection found that top bracket for unit was ripped off the wall. Will have to return to repair. Upon returning we may need to bring some 2x4 so we can mount the top bracket to wood. Entire indoors unit will need to be removed and reinstalled.
Upon arrival found system oil, furnace, primary control, locked out. Replaced oil line filter, pump filter, and oil nozzle. 60x.60w. Bled system until clean oil presented itself, started system, and did smoke test. System is running to manufacture specifications at this time.
Fully assessed no heating situation. After talking to tennet found that maintenance had already fixed the issue with blowing the 3 amp fuse by replacing the contactor. Found orange wire in b terminal when it was supposed to be switched to black wire. Black wire was originally being used do to orange wire was broken. After switching back to black wire at the thermostat heat pump came on properly. Checked 410a refrigerant pressures they were 273/106. Also checked temperature rise was 23 degrees. Heat pump system is working properly at time of service.
