Return visit for leak search.
UV dye was added to the system in October.
I look for dye using UV light and could not pinpoint leak at indoor coil, outdoor coil or my accessible brazed joint at this time.

*Lineset runs above drywall ceiling and soffit in basement. 60+ feet.
Found system running g at 103 psi with 35+ Superheat and almost 0 Subcooling.

Discussed charging the first floor system needed refrigerant and becoming plan member for both systems. Homeowner agreed,

System needed 53° OZ r410A. *Factory charge is 105oz. Lineset is 60 feet or so so total charge is 8.25 pounds. So system had lost approximately 40% of its charge.

1st Fl system refrigerant data before charging: 251/103 39SH 0.5 SC
1st Fl system refrigerant data after charging: 288/132 10.5SH 6° SC

*Outdoor temperature 73° (light rain and thunderstorms)

*She wants to wait to do AC tune ups in next calendar year that way we can check refrigerant dye at that time.

First floor system operating ok now that it is
