1/13/25. Removed old bypass valve from tankless water heater ( was not an easy job). Installed new bypass valve and bleed air and checked for leaks no leaks found. Cycled both sinks in basement and delivered 120 degree water ever time. Tankless water heater is working properly, no error codes came up on display.

Performed precision heat tune up on (1) 2016 Lennox gas furnace and (1) Lennox heat pump system for loft area. Replace both air filters. Checked all electrical connections and components. Provided options for water protection for both systems. Checked temperature rise. Performed combustion test. Blew out tubing. Cleaned flame sensor. Homeowner wanted an estimate to flush tankless water heater, provided estimate. Found condenser fan motor for loft area bearings are failing, took video. Provided estimate. Both systems are 10 years old would recommend getting a consultation visit.

Fully asssed heat pump making noise situation. Checked temperature rise it was 26 degrees. R410a refrigerant pressures were 366/116 . Found grill outside making some noise put foam tape under grill. Homeowner played a video and it sounded like when the heat pump is running in defrost mode. Did not find any issues at this time. Heat pump is working properly at time of service.

Fully assessed heat pump operation. Checked temperature rise, temperature rise was 32 degrees. Checked 410a refrigerant pressures on the roof they were 333/108. Tested emergency heat. Heat pump is working properly at time of service. No issues at this time. During the cold spell in the 20’s heat pumps do struggle.

Recovers all refrigerant from the system. Removed old outdoor txv and bi flow filter dryer. Installed new txv and filter dryer. Pressure tested at 320 psi nitrogen and soap checked. Vacuumed down system to 380 microns. Added in 6 lbs 8ozs of r 410a ( provided by Atwater). Ran system in heating mode pressures are 302/120 very good. Temperature rise is

I arrived to the customers home to look at his 600 humidifier that we just installed recently. Customer says humidity levels won’t get above 34% sits around 33% has it set at 40% I went and made sure that the humidifier was working. Humidifier is getting plenty of water. It’s getting hot water And there’s sufficient hot air blown across the panel. The humidifier is working fine at this time of service no concern of the humidifier working properly. This is a new humidifier install no charge warranty.

After turning off water to humidifier. Opened up line and found line had a lot of mineral build up. Blew out line with hot water pressure and replaced screen coming into solenoid. Also replaced feeder tube line and humidifier tray and pad. Had full flow to humidifier. Explained to customer that with this set up the only time the humidifier is adding water is when the system is calling for heat. Do not know how well humidity will regulate do to every home is different. Also with these cold temperatures humidity is also very low. Humidifier is operating correctly at time of service.

From the assess no heating situation. First Troy mentioned that the backup heat did not seem like it was working correctly. Tested electric strip heater, and only half of it was working. The other half had burned out. Took photos of stripped nameplate need to provide estimate to replace strip heater. Also went up on roof and found heat pump locked out on high pressure lockout. Reset system and went to test operation. As soon as board would call to run, it would go straight into high-pressure lockout and not even come on. Tested contactor and found contactor had shorted out defrost board. Replaced contactor and defrost board and tested heat pump operation. Refrigerant pressures were. 296/63. Very good. Temperature rise was 19°. Heat pump is working correctly at total service. Need to look into replacement strip heater.

Completed (2) heat tune ups for natural gas furnace. Replaced (2) 16x25x1 filters Inspected heat exchanger, burners, flue pipe, inducer assembly and hoses Inspected hot surface ignitor and verified resistance with meter Cleaned flame sensor and verified flame rectification circuit Measured temperature rise and static pressure Checked wiring, controls, electric motors and components; there are no surge protectors; left estimate for a surge protector for each furnace, Checked mainofold gas pressure Inspected drain and pump. There is a condensate pump safety but no EZ trap. Left estimate for EZ trap. There are also no wet switches. Wet switch/flood safety will shut equipment down if water is detection floors near equipment. The surrounding rooms are finished, wet switches are strongly recommended. Fully assessed no heating situation. Found indoor unit and outdoor running but went on the roof and found compressor trying to start but not starting. Found hard start kit has failed and broke open inside outside unit. Replaced Ssp6 hard start kit and tested operation. R410a refrigerant pressures were 327/87 good at this time ( this system is also a leaker). Checked temperature rise it was 19 degrees. Do not know if compressor will fail. Heat pump is working at time of service.
