Will re braze over crack on pressure switch. Pump up with nitrogen and leak test. Vacuum down system below 500 microns. Added in factory charge( 410a provided by Atwater). 8/20/26. Recovered all refrigerant from the system. Brazed over broken joint at high pressure switch. Pressure tested with nitrogen at 300 psi. Vacuumed down system below 500 microns. Added in factory 410a refrigerant charge ( provided by Atwater). Tested out heat pump system. 410a pressures were 295/131 with 11 subcooling and 19 superheat. Temperature split was 18. A/c is working properly at time of service.

8/19/26. Replaced failed blower motor and tested operation. Temperature split was 18 degrees. 410a refrigerant pressures were 330/132 with 13 subcooling and 10 superheat. A/c is working properly at time of service.

8/19/26. Fully assessed no cooling situation on 2016 Rudd heat pump system. Gave system a call for cooling and went up on roof. Found 410a heat pump system running at 132/14 pretty much flat. Found bad leak at high pressure switch provided option to repair. Also would consider replacement. Added back in factory 410a refrigerant charge for now. 410 a refrigerant pressures are 335/134 with 11 subcooling, temperature split is 18 degrees. A/c is working at this time but do not know how long charge will last.

Luis 8-18-26 Tenant called in for noise coming from steam boiler. Talked to tenant upon arrival, they described as if the boiler was low on water, I flush water to test low water cutoff and water feeder system, water came out dirty. Test operation of low water cutoff/feeder ok. No issues found. Have a feeling water levels was low or sensor was not reading water level correctly due to dirty water. No issues found. Customer will call us back if still have issues.

8/18/26 Dan I arrived to the customers home to service their 6 yr old Amana a/c system . I checked the wiring connections and the voltages . I checked and found the indoor air filter is good , the filter size is a 201 I Inspected the indoor coil and tested the primary drain pan and cleared and tested the water drains and traps if applicable. I Took indoor temp splits at the return and the supply and checked the blower motor condition and operation. I looked at the outdoor unit wiring connections and voltages . I inspected the outdoor components and checked my unit pressures by using super heat sub cool method. System in good operating condition at this time. Looked over the customers Bosch tankless water heater with Jim and addressed a few issues.

8/18/26. Fully assessed 2016 Rudd heat pump. Checked temperature split it was 17 degrees. Found system was turned was up while tennet was away. Explained to him that it’s better to keep a consistent temperature. R 410a pressures were 366/134 with 15 subcooling and 15 superheat. Tennet has only lived there a few weeks. A/c is working fine at time of service. Dropped 2 degrees while on site

8/18/26. Fully assessed blower motor stuck running on 2016 Rudd heat pump system. Found blower motor constantly running. Found indoor control board was very corroded took photos. Replaced control board and tested operation. Temp split was 18 degrees. Blower is now turning off correctly. Checked 410a refrigerant pressures they were 360/132 subcooling was a little high at 18 superheat was 14 which is fine. High subcooling can be a txv starting to go bad .Heat pump is working properly at time of service.

8/17/26. Fully assessed drain clogg on 2016 Rudd heat pump system. Poured water over coil and nothing drained. Found clogg in drain line at drain pan. Tried blowing out with co2 and used ez trap brush. Ended up partially removing coil to get to drain stub. Found black rubber glove in drain line, this definitely explains clogg. Pulled out and tested with water. Coil is draining perfectly at this time.

8/17/26. Fully assessed no cooling situation on 2016 Rudd heat pump system. Gave system a call for cooling and found as it was running with a 19 degree temperature split. The blower motor would stop, rock back and fourth and a/c would continue to run. Blower motor is failing, do not have one on the truck. Provided estimate to replace motor.

8/17/26. Fully assessed no cooling situation on 2016 Rudd a/c. Was not able to get into apartment right away so went up on rooftop and got everything set up and gauges on. Gave system a call for cooling and found compressor not coming on. Compressor was replaced in 2022. Tested 30/5 capacitor it tested good. Found failed Ssp6 hard start kit. Replaced hard start kit with one on the truck and tested operation. 410a pressures were 265/127 with 7 subcooling and 14 superheat. Checked temperature split at indoor unit it was. 17 degrees. A/c is working properly at time of service. System is at replacement age.
