Job Locations and Reviews
2nd floor system I completed a check up on an 6 yr old 95% gas furnace system. I started with checking the air filter and replaced , the filter size is 16x25x1. I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I inspected and tested the burners , flame sensor and the igniter. I water tested all tubing and hoses. I inspected the exhaust and fresh air pipe for restrictions and bellies. I inspected the inducer and the blower motor operation. I checked and tested for combustion and took temp rise splits at the return and the supply. Everything is running fine at this time of service. 1st floor system I completed a check up on a 20+ yr old 80% Lennox gas furnace system. I started with checking the air filter and replaced, filter size is 16x25x1 . I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I inspected and tested the burners , flame sensor and the igniter. I inspected the exhaust for restrictions and rust and holes. I inspected the inducer and the blower motor oper
(2) EZ trap (1) for each system. Fully serviceable AC drain trap with overfill protection switches 2/20/26 Dan I arrived to the customers home to install two EZ trap systems for both coils in the basement. I cut out old PVC piping to accommodate for the new EZ traps per system . Once completed I wired the safeties in series with the condensation pumps. I checked for leaks and tested the safeties for proper operation. Collected balance for the new water safeties. Paid by cc.
Luis 2-17-26 Flush tankless hot water heater with descaler solution test system operation ok. After minutes of running, hot water temperature dropped. I called tech support for troubleshooting, found check valve components not working properly, provided estimate to replace check valve. 2-18-26 Replacement of check valve for water heater, test operation check all hot water faucets test operation for 30 minutes ok water heater is working properly 120 F.
I arrived for no heat on a heat pump system. Thermostat was calling for heat. It was 51 in the house. Nothing was running downstairs or outside. I found my heater contactor has failed. The system is six years old. The contactor is covered under the manufacturer warranty, but did quote out for labor warranty to the customer. She saved roughly over $300.00 . The customer approved the repair. Remove the failed heater contactor, and replaced with the new OEM contactor tested each portion of the system for operation. Everything is back up or running at this time of service.
Luis 2-16-26 customer called in for no hot water, tankless navien not providing enough hot water. I check inlet filter ok no error codes showing, I contact tech support and they said before any further troubleshooting, flushing is necessary. We need to come back to perform tankless flush then we can further troubleshoot unit, there is a chance unit just needs flushing and will work fine. We will check operation after flushing. No expansion tank and pressure reducing valve are installed. We will need 90 fitting to connect to the hot water connection. See photos. Water pressure is 90 psi. I provided estimate to install pressure reducing valve and expansion tank.
Looked over system there is an 18/8 wire ran between thermostat and air handler. There is enough conductors to install a WiFi thermostat. Let rich know that it is possible. They will let us know next steps. Rich would like a quote sent over to install a very basic WiFi thermostat.
Fully assessed no heating situation. Found breakers off when I arrived. Turned on breakers and tested out system. Found emergency heat did come on and it was drawing 19.65 A working correctly. Found that heat pump did not come on. Found thermostat was configured and set up as conventional not heat pump. Flip switch on back a thermostat and check settings. Tested out heat pump system on the roof. 410a pressures were 245/87. Temperature rise was 20 degrees. Heat pump system is working properly at time of service.
Luis 2-16-26 customer has newer heat pump with gas heater as back up. Customer stated heating pump was not blowing hot air, I checked system operation, zoning system two thermostats it’s old style Trane communication 3 wire system. I check system operation I noticed system was running at 560 cfm and compressor showing 46%, system was working properly, it took very long to bring up blower speed. I tried resetting unit, I looked at thermostat to see if we can change minimum compressor speed. I could not find any setting, I also noticed the back heat did not had any locked out setting. I asked customer about this and he said to set to 50/40 compressor balance point, system is working properly at the time of service.
Found spirovent head corroded and needs replaced. 2/1/26 Isolated and drained hydronic system as necessary. This is a hydronic coil set up, Removed failed spirovent head. Installed new. Pressurized and purged system. Tested afterwards. Temperature rise 35° Left thermostat set to emergency heat enabled so it will only run oil hydronic coil. They do not connect thermostat to app or WiFi so temperature lockouts aren’t available or play a role in controls. System operating well at this time.
Had a problem with two steam radiators. Luis arrived and diagnosed the problem, corrected it and verified that the radiators are now working properly. My tenants and new baby are warm and happy. Luis does it again!
