6/10/25 Luis Customer called in for strong electrical smell coming from indoor furnace. Test system operation is the unit started to operate could smell some electrical burning. I was able to identify blower motor was the source of smell. Check voltage to motor. 122 volts. I did check control board and transformer. I did not see any issue with those components. As I was inspecting unit I also noticed small crack on heat exchanger. Showed photos to customer and provided estimate for repairs. Customer approved repairs replacement of blower motor, installation of surge protection.customer paid 50% for repairs. Warranty: Replacement of blower motor under parts only warranty. 6-12-25 Luis return visit to install new blower more under parts only warranty, I also installed surge protection for indoor unit. Test operation of system ok. Supply and return air temps ok. Did not perform tune up. 54 supply 74 return.

Reviewed home with Sue to determine best scenario for adding air conditioning to home. Need to perform calculations and provide estimate using 1 system for both floors.

Completed QA for 40,000 BTU natural gas furnace with 1.5 ton AC. Inspected all aspects of install: mechanical, wiring, ductwork, etc, Replaced 16x25x1 filter with a 16x24x1. Fits a little better in the rack. Checked control board settings. Tested AC. Added 6oz R410A refrigerant. Final subcooling 8° Measured temperature split. The one return grille in dining room is noisy. We need to come back with a different style grille that is more open by design. He is fine with it off for now. System passes quality assurance inspection.

Upon arrival, I performed maintenance on AC system. Changed 16x25x1 air filter. Inspected evaporator coil and drain pan. Cleared and tested drain line. Inspected blower assembly and electrical connections. Cycled system in cooling and checked static pressure and temperature differentials. Proceeded to outdoor unit. Inspected outdoor coil and condenser fan. Checked electrical connections and components on outdoor unit. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures. System is operating appropriately at this time.

Upon arrival, owner stated water stopped leaking when handyman came out and cleared drain. Cleared and tested all condensate traps. Re primed traps to ensure proper operation. Water is draining appropriately at this time.

Installed new Goodman air handler with 10kw heat kit. Placed air handler in existing drain pan and installed new wet switch. Reused return and supply. Tapped/ caulked return and supply. Adapted condensate line and installed new ez trap. Adapted high volt and installed new 60amp breaker on airhandler. Installed new Goodman communicating thermostat and wired in low volt with safeties. Flushed existing line set and connected to new equipment. Installed new Goodman outdoor heat pump on leveled pad and snow legs. Installed new rector seal disconnect and wired it into outdoor unit. Cleaned up work area and tested out equipment.

Arrived to the job with Aaron. Returned door had fallen off a rooftop unit, which was leaving the unit exposed to the outside elements. Customers were getting water inside the building most likely from the rain here and check the pressure pressures. Pressures were good. Splits were good and super heat was good . No charge to the customer today recall.
