Needed to update estimate in sales builder
Replaced both boards inside 4 yr old attic crawl space air handler. Daikin proprietary thermostat still flashing red with error. Unable to determine cause of error. Office to schedule lead tech to diagnose issue. No payment was collected today. Also found outdoor surge protector tripped. Removed from circuit but error still persisted on thermostat.
7/1/26. Fully assessed no cooling situation on 2016 carrier split a/c system. Found burnt up hard start kit, capacitor, and double pole contactor. Also found hole burnt thru electric panel cover on unit. Wayne wanted to replace burnt up parts to see if compressor was ok. Checked compressor with megometer it passed. Replaced all parts an cut off burnt up wires. Everything was supplied by riverworks except double pole contactor. Tested a/c operation. Compressor amps were 10 amps which were good. Checked r410a refrigerant pressures they were 359/125 16 subcooling and 12 superheat. 13 subcooling is what it calls for so not bad. A/c is working properly at time of service.

6/29/26. Performed quality assurance on recently installed magic pak a/c and gas furnace. Checked over all electrical connections and components. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures. Checked temperature split it was 19 degrees. Checked manifold gas pressure in heating mode which was 3.51 w.c. System is working properly at quality assurance check.
6/29/26. Went over trouble shooting the reversing valve with Andrew from Ferguson tech support. Gave system a call for cooling and had no voltage to the reversing valve and system was still heating. Switched over to heating mode and had 209 v ac. Tapped on the valve and it will not shift. Andrew is going to speak with his higher ups to see if next steps,
6/29/26. Performed quality assurance on recently installed trane gas furnace a/c, checked all electrical connections and components. Found wet switch wired into the system wrong. Found wet switch r tied into safety loop not circuit board, re wired and tested wet switch operation. Checked temperature split. Checked 454b refrigerant pressures and temperatures. System is working properly at quality assurance check.
Estimate
6/22/26. Fully assessed no cooling situation on 2000 Bryant a/c system. Found r-22 system was tripping the breaker. Found someone mounted the capacitor in a way that it moved and shorted up against the housing. Re did crimp ends and mounted up capacitor with plastic strapping. Compressor is shaking like crazy and is going to mechanically fail. Recommend to Dave to get a cost on system replacement possibly up grading to a heat pump. He will give us a call.
Double checked all dipswitches at indoor control. Set for 12,000 BTU and correct indoor unit. Dipswitch SW5-8 is turned on to account for us having a non Mitsubishi control (Honeywell) Checked resistance of reversing valve coil: Called Mitsubishi tech support 1800-433-4822 they provided case number case no: 1054867 Followed troubleshooting procedures. Remove power to compressor>turn cooling ON>wait 3 mi>check voltage at P.C. Inverter board terminals 271….0Volts. Flow chart states: replace reversing valve. Tech support confirmed bad reversing valve. Talked to our management we will contact Ferguson.

Minor emergency with blower fried. Prompt scheduling and fix. Luis explained fully and completed all the work. I think he even went and picked up the part.
