Issue was homeowner knocked Trane link Thermostat off the wall. When I arrived I put outer frame back together put thermostat back into subbase and cycled power off and on to the thermostat. Initially the display was fine but interface wasnot. Was not responding to touching and eventually screen went blank altogether. The app however is still working to control the system despite the screen being blank. Offered to replace the thermostat today. Homeowners elected not to replace and to use the app. Left estimate to replace Trane Link thermostat. Homeowner agreed to plan membership and diagnostic. Completed AC tune up 3 Ton Trane variable speed. Replaced Aprilaire 413 filter provided by homeowner; was very dirty. Recommend replacing every 6 months. Phoenixville, PA - Talked to homeowner about zone valve operation. Found zone valves opening and closing correctly when I was there. Homeowners described that it was over heating the 1st floor. Explained to them that the can replace both zone valves but would highly recommend replacing boiler instead. Replacing (2) zone valves would be roughly $2000.00 oil boiler is working at time of service.

Measured amp draw on blower motor, found back up heat was not coming on operating normally. Found blower motor drawling 2.34 amps. Took photos of how dip switches are set at this time. Also checked 410 a refrigerant pressure it was 321 psi. Had 108 degrees supply temp. Heat pump is working properly at time of service. Will look into a wind hood for the outside unit.

Maintenance wanted to flush the drain with water from first floor water heater. Explained to them that there could be frozen pipes further up the line. Was able to get water to un thaw for now. Wayne is going to try to get the heat tape working. Gas furnace is working at time of service.

I arrived to the customers home to service there new laars 95% boiler . I started with inspecting the temperature and pressure gauge. I looked at the boiler for any water leaks around the whole system. I inspected wiring connections and the neatness of the total install. I inspected the ignition system and the water drainage and made sure the condensation pump was working fine. I inspected the expansion tank and the water feeder and the circulators for proper operation. I tested for combustion to be sure it was in correct system tolerance. I checked my return and supply water temps and checked the domestic side of the boiler. The new laars boiler is in good working order. Collected for a new check for $16,248.00
