Evacuated pressure tested and charged system. Total charge 25 lbs . Factory 6lb 10 oz . Additional charge 18.39lb. System has to be evaluated from two sides . Two pumps and two gauges are needed. Along with full bottle of 454b. Supply temp 112 in heating and 48 in cooling . I need to go back in the next day or two to add a pound and a half of refrigerant.

4/16/26. Found system low on charge pressures were 332/87. Recovered all refrigerant. Leak tested system. Found leak at 3/4” suction line at outdoor unit. Repaired fitting and used 3/4” purple ring. Re pressure tested, no leaks found. Added in 18 lbs 4 ozs of r454b. Refrigerant pressures are now 400/142. System is working properly at time of service.

Issue was homeowner knocked Trane link Thermostat off the wall. When I arrived I put outer frame back together put thermostat back into subbase and cycled power off and on to the thermostat. Initially the display was fine but interface wasnot. Was not responding to touching and eventually screen went blank altogether. The app however is still working to control the system despite the screen being blank. Offered to replace the thermostat today. Homeowners elected not to replace and to use the app. Left estimate to replace Trane Link thermostat. Homeowner agreed to plan membership and diagnostic. Completed AC tune up 3 Ton Trane variable speed. Replaced Aprilaire 413 filter provided by homeowner; was very dirty. Recommend replacing every 6 months. Phoenixville, PA - Talked to homeowner about zone valve operation. Found zone valves opening and closing correctly when I was there. Homeowners described that it was over heating the 1st floor. Explained to them that the can replace both zone valves but would highly recommend replacing boiler instead. Replacing (2) zone valves would be roughly $2000.00 oil boiler is working at time of service.
