Arrived a little early (totally fine, especially as he texted) and got the job done in a few hours. Didn't disrupt the household at all (I work from home). Entry and pathways were left cleaner than they were when the arrived. I;m very happy with today's service replacing a busted water heater.
Bradford White 50 Gallon Natural Gas Atmospheric Water Heater. • Drain, Remove, and Dispose of old water heater. • Install new water heater in drain pan and install water alarm. • Install new expansion tank for new water heater. • Modify piping to new water heater application as needed. • Complete all mechanical and piping connections. • Fill and purge water heater and test operation. • 6 Year Tank and Parts Warranty. • 2 year guarantee.
3/19/26. Replaced faulty control board and replaced 5 sensors. Had to configure control. Tested operation in both heating and cooling mode. System is working properly at time of service.
3/10/26 Kurt & Liz Upon arrival went to rooftop, found only one compressor running on York heatpump serial #N2A1557064. Board was throwing code “1 coil freeze locked out”. Disconnected coil temperature sensor and restarted system, system ran with compressor #1, when second compressor went to start system would shut down and throw same code. Disconnected both temperature sensors and checked resistance, one temperature sensor was at 9.56kiloohms, other sensor was at 12.72 kiloohms. Restarted system with both temperature sensors disconnected, system ran, we found only first compressor still running. Board now throwing code “bad coil temperature sensor” With both sensors disconnected jumped out second compressor on control board and got second compressor to run with first compressor. With second compressor jumped out on control board and temperature sensors disconnected, system ran for extended period of time, until the jumper for the second compressor was removed. Luis 1-26-26 customer called in for no heat. Found system of point arrival. Turn thermostat to heat in check system operation heater will go off on low pressure switch error code will not close check vacuum -2.45 inches water column. I tap on the pressure switch so it works. I putting a universal pressure as temporary until we get all three new pressure switches provided estimate for the repairs. Customer approved repairs. We will need to come back with new precious switches. Customer has heat and system working order. I personally called supply house and order parts. Customer paid 50% for repairs
Fully assessed no heating situation. Found blown glass that there was 120 v on line side coming into furnace but not between hot and neutral. Furnace was installed by dibiase on 11/06/25. Found neutral wire was burnt and not making a good connection. Checked over All connections and re stripped netural wire. This is a recall on install. Tested furnace operation. Gas furnace is working properly at time of service.
Dillon was very professional and respectful while in our home quoting us a price for a new HVAC system. He didn’t try to hard sell us on anything we didn’t need and answered any questions we had.
Estimate
I arrived to the customers home for no heat . The customer had a tripped roll out switch . The system has a cracked heat exchanger. It failed the combustion test and the smoke test. I will talk to the customer what he wants to do moving forward. The furnace is red tagged and is turned off at the switch and the gas shutoff. Customer needs to talk to his wife about what they want to do, I recommended an estimate for replacement. A So showed the customer 3 options pricing for his replacement.
I arrived to the customers home to service there 10 yr old gas furnace system. I started with checking the air filter and replaced, filter size is 16x25x1 . I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I inspected and tested the burners , flame sensor and the igniter. I inspected the exhaust for restrictions and rust and holes. I inspected the inducer and the blower motor operation. I checked and tested for combustion and took temp rise splits at the return and the supply. Everything is running fine at this time of service.
Fully assessed no heating situation. Found furnace not proving low pressure switch. Found ports were open pressure switch has failed. Parts are warranty labor is not need to order low pressure switch assembly for both high and low together. Distributor is not open today. Need to order jumped out for now it is working .
Pulled r-32 refrigarant charge back into outdoor unit. Cut out section of line set and electrical. Got stone brought out from the shop to re level outdoor unit. Brazed in and vacuumed to 159 microns. Ran system in a/c mode. A/c is working properly at time of service.
