Performed precision heat tune up on amana gas furnace. Aprilaire 501 air filter is ok. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked temperature rise. Found 115v condensation pump is starting to fail running a very long run cycle. Provided estimate to replace pump. Checked gas pressure. Checked resistance of hsi. Replaced #35 humidifier pad with one homeowner provided, let him know that because we are not doing a full service we can’t guarantee it won’t leak. Performed combustion test. Gas furnace is working properly at time of service.

I arrived to the customers home to service their 4 yr old gas furnace system. I started with checking the air filter and replaced , the customer supplies the air filters. . I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I inspected and tested the burners , flame sensor and the igniter. I water tested all tubing and hoses. I inspected the exhaust and fresh air pipe for restrictions and bellies. I inspected the inducer and the blower motor operation. I checked and tested for combustion and took temp rise splits at the return and the supply. Everything is running fine at this time of service. Collected for 189.00 renewal

Completed heat tune up for oil boiler. Cleaned heat exchanger and inspected flue piping and chimney. Good amount of soot. There was quite a bit of dirt and dryer lint around burner air band which is the likely cause of boiler sooting.n Replaced oil filter, strainer with gasket and nozzle. Strainer and filter were very dirty Inspected electrode condition and alignment, transformer, cad cell eye, and air bands for debris. Air n bands were dirty Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components Combustion, smoke and draft tests: Pass Oil tank is 45 years old, beginning to break down internally. It is a buried tank. Would need a separate consultation to give price. Section of smoke pipe rusted through. Offered to replace. Replaced all smoke pipe except the length off breech of burner. Completed work today. Oil furnace. operating well at this time. I showed her how to keep an eye on the oil burner air bands and to keep them clean of lint and dirt. Invoice paid today.

Installed new Trane furnace. Adapted to supply and return. Adapted to existing gas line and vents. Installed blower surge protector, EZ trap and a condensate pump with vinyl. Installed Trane Link thermostat and relay panel. Installed new 2 ton Trane heat pump on 4” snow legs and pad. Installed rectorseal power monitoring disconnect. Replaced lineset. Cleaned work area and tested out all operations. Adjust refrigerant pressures in spring.

Installed new Trane furnace and coil. Adapted to return and supply plenums. New condensate pump with vinyl, EZ trap and blower surge protector. Adapted to existing gas line and vents. Wired unit conventional as we did not have correct parts for install. Installed new 3 ton Trane heat pump on 4” snow legs and pad. Installed rectorseal power monitoring disconnect. Replaced lineset. Cleaned work area and tested all operations, adjust charge as needed when unit is fully working.

Fully assessed no heating situation. Found thermostat in fan on position when I arrived with variable speed blower motor not running. Found 24 v between c&g and 247 volts going to motor with call from circuit board but blower motor is shot. Gave heat pump a call for heat , outdoor heat pump came on and was running in heat mode. Heat pump system is from 2010 would highly recommended replacement heat pump system. Talked to Maurice he said he would like the repair quoted and replacement quoted. Need to set up appointment to have someone come out to give replacement quote. System is down.

They had allowed tank to run empty before ordering oil. I believe oil tank gauge is not working. We will provide estimate to replace. Tank is also very old. When I arrived there was a soft lockout on the primary control. Offered oil Heat plan and to prime and start heater. Had to go through 3 prime cycles purging to get all the waste (gunk and water) out of oil line. She agreed to plan after I made recommendations to replace the oil filter and strainer. She agreed to plan+diagnostic+prime and start oil burner. I replaced the RF1 filter and pump strainer today which is part of tune up. The tech who does the tune up will not have to replace RF1 oil filter or strainer. The oil filter canister body is very old and has some corrosion on bottom. Left estimate to replace. EX 30 expansion tank has failed provided estimate to replace.
