Reviewed equipment with customer. Amir stated his enegy gas bill increased by 50 percent this year over last year. House temp was at 73 degf. He mentioned it was the same lasy year. Peco saying it is 6 degf colder this year over last year. Need to review bill data and also review the temperatures to validate data. Reviewed settings on thermostat and furnace, checked air filter, and performed combustion test. Increased high stage setting to 300 seconds from 600 seconds. This will speed high stage operation and will cause unit to shutbdown sooner. Informed Amir this may be best for efficiency but it is not best for comfort. Amir will email.me bill data for further anaysis. Discussed also how a humidifier can help with overall comfort and help lower thermostat settings to save on gas.
Performed precision heat pump tune up on 2016 air temp heat pump. 16x20x1 air filter is clean. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked temperature rise. Found 7.5 mfd capacitor tested weak at 4.3, replaced capacitor. Also installed ez trap for water protection. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures. Heat pump system is working properly at time of service.
Luis 12-1-25 customer called in for no heat oil furnace he had to reset the burner over the weekend found burner with no lockout upon arrival, last 50 cycles ok ended by end of heat call. I went through the troubleshooting. I checked oil pressure 120 psi check electrodes and transformer, I did notice transformer right spring Arcing between spring and transformer body, there was an error code 170 cycle ago (no ignition). I replaced transformer and test operation ok.
Fully assessed humidifier not working. Got humidifier running for a short period of time. Honeywell humidifier circuit board not working correctly. Recommend replacing humidifier with Aprilaire 620 humidifier. Homeowner decided to replace. Also performed precision heat hump tune up. Media filter is ok. Tested emergency heat. Checked temperature rise. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. Heat pump system is working properly at time of service. Need to order humidifier and return and install.

The nozzle listed for this burner on furnace nameplate is .70 60A Inspected electrode condition and alignment, transformer, cad cell eye, and air bands for debris. Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components including fan speeds. Bled oil line and tested system. Combustion, smoke and draft tests: Pass initially Oil tank is old, beginning to break down internally. Recommend replacing oil tank and fill and vent piping. Arrived for no heat on a heat pump system 2nd floor master arzel system not moving air. I found the nest thermostat wasn’t making a great connection the tabs were wore out where the thermostat would click into the subbase. But once it has a connection the heat pump will run. I did check my temp splits and found good . The customer told me the system has been working great. He will look into buying a new nest thermostat. I collected for 84.15 diagnostics.
50 gallon propane power vented water heater 10 yr warranty Installed new rheem propane water heater. Adapted gas line and flue piping. Piped in hot and cold side piping on water heater. Installed new expansion tank and shut off valves. Placed water heater in drain pan with water alarm. Cleaned up work area and tested out water heater.

Returned to the customers home to replace there gas valve on the unit on the left side of the house. I turned the power off and the gas. I removed the failed valve and replaced with new. I tested for gas leaks and then turned the system back on and dialed in the 1st and 2nd stage gas pressures. Evers back up and running at this time of service. Cole Ted for labor warranty for $462.19 paid by cc.

Found failed Temperature+Pressure Valve on 50 gallon propane water heater. Fairly serious leaking on valve a good amount of water had leaked including outside pan. I drained water heater as necessary to stop trickling of valve. Expansion tank and temperature and pressure relief valve have failed. Provided email estimate to replace. Also provided mail estimate for these 2 PLUS whole home pressure reducing valve. Also provided estimate for new water heater. 1 with 6 year tank warranty. The other with 10 year warranty. Gas valve and gas control are OFF. Water heater is drained and valves off so as to stop leaking T+P valve.

Found oil furnace primary on soft lock out. Used contractor tool to troubleshoot: past 2 cycles “Did not light” Inspected nozzle assembly, cad cell eye and the past cycles as well. Cad cell ohms good. Attached bleed through wrench to bleed port of pump and bled oil line which had a considerable amount of water until I had a full column of oil present in bleed hose. Closed bleed port. Light off was a little hard this time around because of oil in chamber. Also used Beckett contractor to extend pre purge run time from 15 seconds to 30 seconds and also set the post purge time to 30 seconds. Was set up for 0 post purge time when I arrived. Light off is now much smoother as a result. Oil tank is old not in great condition. Oil line is buried. Recommend replacing tank. If a grandy 275 is to be used and tank in same place That wall will have to be deconstructed/demoed. Left estimate for plan memberships Oil Heat only Oil Heat+AC Oil furnace operating well at this time.
Fully assessed no heating situation. Found system locked out when we arrived. Found geothermal was locked out on a code 4. Looked over control board and found the jw3 jumper was never cut for a closed loop system with antifreeze. This can cause a code 4. Cut jumper and tested operation. Loop pressure was 38 psi. Loop temperature split was 7 degrees, very good. Checked air temp rise it was 24 degrees. Geothermal is working properly at this time.

11/25/25 Dan I Arrived to the customers home for a heat pump check up on a 11yr old system . I checked all electrical connections and voltages . I checked the air filter and replaced, filter size is 16x25x1 . Inspected the indoor coil and tested electric heat package. Took temp splits for the electric heat and blower motor amperage draws. I looked at the outdoor heat pump and tested for an outdoor btu output. Inspected the outdoor components and unit pressures. Everything is working fine at this time of service.
11-24-25 Luis; customer called in for service on gas heater. Found thermostat set to 66 and room temp 66. Customer stated that he noticed in the last couple days heater has not worked properly. I increase set point and test operation. Heater would go into trial for ignition, flames would come on after couple seconds go off. I inspected ignition system. Found all burners sensor and igniter in bad shape. I inspected heat exchangers and discovered two major cracks on heat exchanger approximately 2 inches in length. I talked to customer and showed him where I was taking photos from. At this time my final recommendation would be replacing system. I did provided estimate for repairs (rebuilding system), I called office to set up consultation for later in this afternoon.
Luis 11-24-25 performed gas heat tune up on two units. Attic and basement both units are 80% efficiency style. Check all electrical connections and components, replace air filter. For attic basement ok at this time. Clean sensor and check ignition. Performed combustion test on both units. Clue both units. Ok service humidifier for first floor. Replacement of pad test and set to winter 35%. I also helped customer installed new thermostat I did some wiring modifications at the unit, test new thermostat ok. I did provided estimate for recommendations for both units. See estimates ignition, and bacteria preventative, condensation pump and vinyl for first floor. I would also recommend getting an estimate to replace systems. Office to follow up with customer.
Furnace drain issues. Was causing water getting into pressure switch tubing and thereby preventing switch fro, closing (1.2” vacuum) required vacuum 1.4” Took apart and cleared the rubber “boot” that is connected to the inducer drain port. Took apart furnace drain trap and cleaned in sink. Made sure all drains were clear. Replaced 3/8” tubing from the inducer “boot” fitting to the trap. Furnace is 23+ years old. (6) Burners in bad shape. Lots of rust in burner compartment. Provided email estimate to replace burners. Cleaned flame sensor and went over basic operations Combustion test: Pass Talked about system upgrade and went over rough estimates using Instant Quote on dibiasehvac.com He decided on plan membership today. Paid for invoice with credit card.
I arrived to the customers home to service there 1 yr old gas boiler. I started with inspecting the temperature and pressure gauge. I looked at the boiler for any water leaks around the whole system. I inspected the heat exchanger, the ignition system and the water drainage . I inspected the expansion tank and the water feeder and the circulator for proper operation. I tested for combustion and checked return and supply water temps . Everything is working fine at this time of service. Collected for $129.00 contract .

Installation team led by Luke was great: on time, courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and hard working. Everything went like clockwork. I commend ownership for assembling a top-flight workforce and for establishing a culture of excellence. Tan provided thorough post-installation follow up inspection and was informative and helpful. All company personnel are on time, are courteous and are good communicators. Overall, great customer service. I recommend DiBiase without reservation. Kurt diagnosed our thermostat problem and installed a new unit. As with other DiBiase techs, he was prompt, courtesy, knowledgeable and efficient. Kurt synched the replacement thermostat to our wi-fi and provided useful information on temp and fan settings. We are very pleased with this service and highly recommend Kurt and company. Technician Barry diagnosed and corrected a sensor problem and the heating function appears to be operating properly at this time. According to the neighbor on site, he was very professional and informative. We will continue to monitor the 6-month old system.
