Job Locations and Reviews

Performed precision a/c tune up on 2020 trane a/c system. Homeowner just replaced aprilaire 216 air filter. Checked all electrical connections and components. Provided solutions for surge protection for gas furnace, whole home uv air purifier and WiFi premium ecobee thermostat. Checked temperature split. Flushed drain out. Checked temperature split. Checked outside capacitor. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures. Talked to customer about 1 bedroom that does cool as much on the 2nd floor. Explained to homeowner that this is a problem when the house was built as to how the duct was run. You would need to cut open drywall to re run duct a different way to get better air flow. A/c is working properly at time of service.

Found failed capacitor at outdoor unit. It is covered under parts only warranty. Offered to replace. Homeowner agreed replaced today. Tested system afterwards. Dean paid for invoice today.

Upon arrival, I found no power going to outdoor unit. Performed mega ohm test on compressor and found windings were burned out due to recent power surge. Gave homeowner estimate to replace compressor under warranty. homeowner paid deposit on compressor replacement. Need to schedule replacement as soon as possible.

Customer call for no cooling. Indoor unit blows air but no outdoor unit. Found no power to outdoor disconnect, customer has whole house generator, generator switch is probably the issue, there is no light on switch relay from transformer. Customer will contact generac. Provided estimate to install soft start or hard start assist.

Main house system Checked the AC side of the system . Checked the air filter and found good. Checked the wiring connections and the voltages on high volt and low volt. Inspected the indoor coil and flushed and tested the drain line. Checked the blower condition and inspected the blower amps and tested for static pressure. Went to the outdoor unit and inspected the wiring connections and the components . Checked and tested the pressures by using superheat and sub cooling methods. Checked the amps for the compressor and the fan motor and checked the indoor cooling temps at the supply and return. The AC system is working fine at this time of service. Mini split check up Mini split tuneup on one head and one outdoor. Checked the air filters and cleaned. Checked the wiring connections and the voltages. Inspected the unit and the blower operation cleaned if necessary. Check the fan operation for all speeds and checked the unit in cooling mode operation. Took temps from return side

Estimate

Upon arrival, I found fan motor not running outside. Was able to free up fan and get it to run. Homeowner would like a quote to replace system. AC is operational at this time.

Performed precision a/c tune up on carrier a/c system. Replaced 16x25x1 air filter, checked all electrical connections and components. Checked temperature split. Cleaned out ez trap. Checked refrigarant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. A/c is working properly at time of service.

Found inducer assembly for carrier furnace seized but got it going by hand. Homeowner replaced batteries in thermostat. Clicked thermostat on to sub base correctly. Homeowner just replaced 16x25x4 filter. This is indication that inducer is failing. Carrier inducers are known to do this from time to time. It’s a nuisance to have to start by hand. Left estimate to replace inducer assembly. She will contact us when she wants to move forward. Repair will be up to a week from when they agree to estimate because part must be ordered and may have to be shipped from a distant distributor. Combustion tests: Pass Temperature rise ok. Cycled furnace on and off twice. Homeowner paid for diagnostic fee today.
