Performed precision a/c tune up on Rheem a/c system. Replaced dirty 16x25x1 air filter. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked temperature split. Tested condensation pump. Tested outdoor capacitor. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures. Found no surge protection on Ecm blower motor provided estimate to install. A/c is working properly at time of service.

Found contactor burnt and pitted , Replaced 1 pole 40 amp contractor. Also performed precision a/c tune up on Luxaire a/c. Replaced 16x25x1 air filter. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked temperature spilt. Tested condensation pump. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. A/c is working properly at time of service.

Performed ac tune up on 1.5 ton Goodman heat pump from 2011. Check electrical low and high voltage connections and components, replace filter, flush drain ok, unit does not have safety trap. Flush drain trap test wet switch ok. Check supply and return temps. 15 degree split. Inspect coils there some refrigeration oil in drain pan, possibly coil leaking. Check outdoor unit capacitor and contactor. Capacitor reading below standard rated 30/5 reading 26/4.3. Refrigerant levels are within range but unit not cooling 100 % this is probably due to age. Outdoor pad is not level. Could see the middle of pad starting to sink. This could be Problem soon. Heat pump is 14 years old would recommend getting an estimate to replace system. Performed ac tune up on 2 ton rheem heat pump. Check electrical low and high voltage connections and components, check air filters customer will have to replace filters soon. Check drain and test pump ok. Add tabs to pan. Inspect coil noticed some refrigeration oil on drain pan coming from evaporator coil. Check airflow supply and return air temps. 14 degrees split. Check outdoor unit refrigerant levels and pressures, capacitor and control module on het pump ok. Amp draw and voltage ok. Unit is running low on refrigerant. Indoor coil will need to be change for unit to work properly or add refrigerant. Unit is from 2010 would recommend replacing system. Emailed estimate for recommendations. Performed precision a/c tune up on comfort maker 2012 a/c system. ( gas furnace is from 2006). Replaced 16x25x1 air filter. Checked all electrical connections and components. Found evaporator coil extremely rusted and corroded. Found no shut off switch at furnace, and 10 mfd blower capacitor tested at 7.5 mfd. provided estimate for repairs , but highly recommended replacement. Checked temperature split. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. A/c system is working at time of service. Set up appointment to give a replacement quote.

Perform precision AC tuneup on two Luxair heat pump systems. Replaced two 20 x 25 x 1“ air filters. Checked all electrical connections and components. Blew out condensate drains. Tested condensate pump tested outdoor capacitors. Check refrigerant pressures and temperature at indoor and outdoor units. Both systems are working fine at time of service.

Estimate

Arrived at call for no heat, found unit was tripped out on a limit switch error code, check filter, which was completely plugged and not allowing the furnace to run properly. Removed filter reset unit and tested for well over an hour and let thermostat come All the way up to temperature, customer had new filter told him to filter every three months filter size is 16x25x1. No other issues with system at this time.

Diagnostic tool read no ignition. Bled pump. Lots of water and sludge for a while but eventually got to oil. Tested system afterwards. Also replaced the old purge tee caps with brass ones. I had broken one of the old plastic ones during tune up. This where water was trickling. Educated Carl about keeping tank full and how to bleed pump. And that he will need to bleed when the tank is filled with oil soon. Carl has oil ordered. No charge because I did not replace the one cap.
