Inspected the drain lines and tested the condensation pump. Inspected the air filter. Looked at temp splits for the system . Outside unit checked the disconnect and the outdoor unit level and made sure all connections are sealed and wiring was completed in a neatly fashion. Refrigerant Charge added 1lb of R454B . The New equipment is working fine at this time of service

3 Ton R22 heat pump. Current system has a 15KW electric heater wired from a 60A breaker and 6 gauge wire. When we offer replacements please size electric heat kit as 10KW. Will also need a 220V receptacle for condensate pump. Urgent pump is 120V wired from a 240V circuit with white as ground. System is low on R22. 50 psi.. I told them they can run it and then run the fan periodically to defrost indoor coil. Took dimensions of air handler. Keep humidifier New Lineset 60+’ Condensate pump pumping to sump. There is 18/5+ 18/2 between thermostat and AH. Total of 7 conductors. They were given options for 15 seer Trane by another company. The other company told them they are 6 weeks out from being able to install. Tiny is scheduled to come out for consultation to pay 8AM. They need to leave by 9:15AM.
Kurt and the other guy with him were great. Clear communication. Awesome work. Highly recommended

Performed precision a/c tune up on carrier a/c system. Homeowner just replaced 20x25x5 air filter. Checked all electrical connections and components. Homeowner signed up for maintenance plan. Replaced very weak 45/5 capacitor. Installed new ecobee lite thermostat. Set up WiFi tested operation. Checked refrigarant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. A/c is working properly at time of service.

Checked the AC side of the systems. Checked all the air filters and replaced and checked all electrical wiring and voltages. Checked the indoor coils and inspected the drain pans . The condensate drains on all units were water tested and cleared. Inspected the condensate pump . Checked all the blower operations and amps. Inspected the outdoor unit coils and inspected the wiring connections and voltages for all units . Tested the pressures by using superheat and subcool methods and checked the amps for the compressor in the fan motors on all units . Checked the indoor cooling temps at the supplies and returns for both systems . Both AC units are working fine at this time of service .

Performed ac tune up on Amana system check electrical low and high voltage connections and components, replace filter, flush drain test pump check airflow supply and return air ok. Check coils, turned off humidifier. Checked outdoor unit refrigerant pressures capacitor and contactor ok cycle unit ok. Noticed some bacteria growing inside indoor coil. Uv light can be install to kill all bacteria and maintain clean coil.
Great service

Completed AC tune up for 2.5 Ton Amana AC system Replaced 16x25x1 filter Indoor and outdoor coils in good condition Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components; left estimates for surge protectors Measured temperature split and static pressure Inspected drains; clears EZ trap, tested pump; added treatment tabs to drain pan. Checked integrity of compressor motor (mega ohm test) Assessed refrigerant charge checked pressures. Number indicate a failed TXV. High superheat and high subcooling. I also checked the temperature differential across the filter drier (located in outdoor unit). Filter drier is ok. System will underperform in cooling until TXV is replaced. Part is covered under warranty but not the labor. I discussed with Mrs. Shoemaker. Provided estimate ($632.19) She agreed. Collected down payment of half of balance. ($316.10). We will collect balance once work is completed. AC system will underperform slightly until TXV is replaced. Work will be schedule

Gas furnace tuneup on a 90% furnace . Checked the air filter and replaced and serviced the customer’s humidifier and tested . Checked the wiring connections and the voltages . Flushed the drain lines and furnace traps and inspected the condensate pump. Inspected the burners and flame sensors and cleaned . Inspected the flue pipes for leaks and bellies. checked the thermostat in heating mode and checked the gas pressures and the furnace safeties. checked the motor amps on the inducer operation and blower motors. Took indoor heat temp rise and tested for combustion on the system. The furnace is in good working order at this time of service.
Highlighted issues and ideas of how they could be fixed and the tradeoffs between the options.

Customer having issues with furnace not working properly. Found furnace on pressure switch error code. Reset unit and checked operation. Check in line vacuum reading 1.45 wc pressure switches rated at 1.27 wc. Tapped on pressure switches and switches closed. Try couple times and all times had to pat in pressure switches to close. Check venting and counted 4 elbows and 2 forty fives, total equivalent lenght is 40 feet. Manufacture call for maximum of 35 feet with the number of fittings. Performed combustion test ok. Would recommend replacement of pressure switches and potentially increasing venting to 3 in.
