I arrived the the customers home to look at her 15 yr old oil furnace not running. She thinks it might be electrical. I found the oil furnace has 120 volts. I inspected the primary control and it wasn’t tripped. I tried the thermostat and it wasn’t responding . I jumped the wires at the thermostat and the oil furnace came on. I quoted a new thermostat Honeywell pro 4 got her approval. I replaced with thermostat and tested system operation. Customer is still aware that the system should be replaced next fall do to it’s age and condition. I collected for the thermostat repair and diagnostic . Total due $448.10 paid by cc.

Replaced Aprilaire 413 filter Inspected heat exchanger, burners, flue pipe, inducer assembly and hoses Inspected hot surface ignitor and verified resistance with meter Cleaned flame sensor and verified flame rectification circuit Measured temperature rise and static pressure Checked wiring, controls, electric motors and components; there are no surge protectors; left estimate for a surge protector for blower motor Checked manifold gas pressures Inspected drain and pump. Combustion, draft and smoke tests: Pass Gas furnace is operating well at this time. Homeowner paid for invoice today: plan membership+filter replacement

I arrived to the customers home to service their 15 yr old oil furnace system.they haven’t had oil for 7 years. I did check my oil and the condition of the oil looks ok no water or discolored. I started with checking the air filter and cleaned. I checked all my electrical connections and voltages. I checked and replaced my strainer and nozzle. There is no oil filter it’s a 2 pipe system and it flows out of the top of the tank. I inspected and set my electrodes for proper gapping for optimal performance. I inspected the flue pipe for corrosion and pitting. Inspected my chimney for clearance. I had -0.041 draft . I bled the oil burner and tested system for smoke and combustion. I took temp rise splits at the return and the supply. Everything is running fine at this time of service.

Injected leak detection dye. Will help us find leaks later. Used superheat method to accurately charge system 3 Ton heat pump. Needed 30oz R410A. Final pressures 267/116 15.5S°SH 1.7°SC Final temperature split 18.5° (75.8-57.2) System will operate well until enough refrigerant leaks out that it becomes problematic again. Total system charge is 10# So the amount added today is 1/5th of charge. Left estimate to replace condensate pump and vinyl tubing. Equipment dates to 2013.

Fully assessed no cooling situation. Found Luxaire heat pump pretty low on charge. 410a refrigerant pressures were 294/99 with 55 superheat. Provided estimate to add refrigerant and dye but highly didn’t recommend it because it could jut leak back out, better of putting money to replacement of heat pump system. Homeowner would like to talk to his wife first before setting up a consultation. A/c is barely working at this time.

Perform precision AC tuneup on amana AC system. Replaced dirty Aprilaire 413 air filter. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked temperature split. Cleaned out ez trap. Found no surge protection for Ecm motor, provided estimate. Found outside coil dirty thoroughly cleaned outside coil. Tested outdoor capacitor, checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. A/c is working properly at time of service.

Check the wiring connections and the voltages. Checked the pressure gauge and the temperature gauge and looked and inspected for any water leaks. Inspected the heat exchanger and inspected the igniter. Inspected the water trap and tested, and inspected the condensate pump. I tested the unit for combustion and checked the zones for good heat from the supply back to the return . Everything is working fine at this time. Checked the AC side of the system . Checked the air filter and found good . Checked the wiring connections and the voltages on high volt and low volt. Inspected the indoor coil and flushed and tested the drain line. Checked the blower condition and inspected the blower amps and tested for static pressure. Went to the outdoor unit and inspected the wiring connections and the components . Checked and tested the pressures by using superheat and sub cooling methods. Checked the amps for the compressor and the fan motor and checked the indoor cooling temps at the supply an

Performed Tune up on Amana gas furnace, checked combustion and gas pressure. Tested blower and inducer motor and cleaned and checked flame sensor and tested burners and heat exchanger. No issues with furnace at this time.water heater is from 2014 and should be replaced before a leak becomes an issue. An estimate was created for replacement.

Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors, thermostat configuration Tested electric heat. 15KW 60A Good Ran system in heat test mode about 20 minutes and assessed system performance Pressures 68/359 temperature rise 24°(69-94) outdoor temperature 30°. Checked defrost cycle System operating well at this time.
