3/13/26. Performed precision heat tune up on 2011 York fully communicating gas furnace. Replaced high efficiency 401 air filter ( provided by homeowner). Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked temperature rise. Homeowner pointed out that the system has been noisier than normal. Found inducer motor bearings are failing. Also found the furnace is pipped in with tract pipe inside the cabinet which is illegal. Found some rusting going on inside heat exchanger. Provided options for repair, but highly recommend replacing gas furnace and a/c together, system is fully communicating. Gas furnace is working at time of service.

Berwyn, PA - Luis 3-7-26 I was here yesterday afternoon to fix second floor heat zoning, after hours I left second floor started to over heat even when thermostat was off. I checked system operation, after deep troubleshooting, I found two issues with boiler system. Isolation relay was stuck close making contact to the boiler all the time this is why second floor was overheated, I also found zone valve head and valve and defective, to replace the valve we need to drain boiler completely, add water feeder and expansion tank. I provided estimate for repairs. As stated during las visit highly recommend system replacement, customer will continue to pay for service calls and repairs. Customer will have to use main floor thermostat to control second floor.  Office to follow up with customer.

First floor 2.5 (30,000 Btu)Goodman and attic 3 ton (36000 Btu) Goodman. Both units are 1 year old. Reviewed jobsite to find solutions for imbalancing of rooms on the first floor due to running new fireplace - recommend running the main system fan to circulate air and balancing. Master bedroom not maintaining the proper temperature during cold times. Recommend replacing the air conditioner in space with a heat pump - sent a proposal to replace..

Went back up to the thermostat and found it was on cooling instead of heating, this is why the furnace was not running. Turned to heating and everything came on. Performed a combustion test. Also performed an inspection with a camera of the heat exchanger. Gas furnace and a/c were installed in 2003. Took photos of heat exchanger inside and out, a lot of rust on heat exchanger. Did not see any cracks yet but is in rough shape. Would recommend replacing the system.

System is 16 years old, I check attic air handler all electrical airflow supply and return air temps 23 degree split regular heat mode. I check compressor side in basement, water pressure and Temperature for in and out. Good numbers. Check amp draw and voltage on compressor ok. Cycle heat pump. I could not test back up heat, there an issue with wiring or electrical components, i did some troubleshooting during tune up, this time is not sufficient to determine the issue. I provided estimate for advanced diagnostics, customer declined troubleshooting he would call when he has an issue. Heat pump is working properly at the time of service, I would recommend getting an estimate to replace system. I also emailed estimate for recommendations regards water protection, surge protection and electrical safety disconnect for attic unit. Paul explained that another company has been working on system. Has been through 2-3 thermostats service record from the other company shows that they have replaced the outdoor control, condensate safety switch, transformer and fuse. 
Went through troubleshooting procedures to determine short.
Ultimately found the insulation of the  low pressure switch wires melted through and the copper exposed. 
Took photos. 
Also verified ohm value of contactor: Good
Wrapped wires in electrical tape and used a piece of foam insulation tape to wrap the piece of capillary refrigerant piping should the wires fall back to this point again they will not be affected.
Afterwards wired everything back together and tested system. 

No issues. Ran system 12 minutes or so.
Temp rise 69-89 Good
