Performed ac tune up. check indoor and outdoor unit. Airflow supply and return temperatures ok 19 degree split Check drain and test pump ok. Check outdoor unit refrigerant charge super heat and sub cooling. Check 8 degrees cycle ac unit ok. System is working under manufacturer specifications. Provided estimate to install surge protection In future.

Performed quality assurance on recently installed heat pump. Went over indoor and outdoor units, check all wiring, safeties, blower speed, coils, air temps supply and return ok. Test alarm on sensor ok. Test 10 kw heat ok. Test and check heat pump operation, check refrigerant levels ok. Check thermostat operation and settings ok. Unit is running within manufacture specifications.

Perform AC tuneup on a 3 ton heat pump check electrical components floor high voltage is replace air filter. Check supply return our temperatures unit. It’s a downflow modular home type of style system. Checked blower motor electrical components went outside and checked heat pump check refrigerant levels and pressures capacitor contactor cycle unit couple times OK compressor is noisy as I was checking refrigerant levels stop cooling. It’s a little lower than normal probably during the installation not enough for refrigerant was added. Customer will get back to the original contractor. Refrigerant caps were very difficult to remove you need special key to remove caps.

Home Is vacant. Oil boiler with radiators. Customer stated previous tenant were not running boiler due to water leak from some of the radiators. Found boiler with no water upon arrival. Boiler it self is leaking. There is other major leaks throughout the house that we won’t know until new boiler is installed. Exhaust pipe is not attached to chimney. Oil tanks are about to start leaking. This job requires major attention. Only supervisor decision on what we can do. Potentially boiler conversion and radiators repairs.

Inspected the new indoor coil and tested the ez trap and the condensate pump. Took indoor temp splits for the return and the supply. Checked the outdoor level and the disconnect level make sure all penetrations are caulked and tested in AC mode on outdoor unit. Checked the charge by using super heat sub cool methods. Talked with the customer to see if he had any questions. The new system looks good. It’s up and running at this time of service.

Performed a/c tune up on 3 ton Daikin a/c system. Checked all electrical conections and components. Check air filter ok. Flush drain test pump ok inspect indoor coil. Check supply and return airflow and temperature ok. Check blower motor voltage and amps. Check out unit refrigerant levels and pressures, check capacitor and control board wiring. Clean some weeds from unit to increase outdoor airflow across coil. Coil is about 50% covered with dust/dirt. Also outside pad is no level. Provided estimate to clean coil and level outside pad. Emailed estimate for recommendations. We would replace outside spigot same visit if customer approves estimate.

Installed new trane air handler. Adapted to existing electrical and installed 10kw heat kit. New supply plenum and all new return drop with box. New condensate pump with vinyl, wet switch and EZ Trap. Installed blower motor surge protector. Installed new trane 3 ton heat pump on 36x42 pad and snow legs. Installed disconnect with surge protector. Replaced line set. Cleaned work area and tested out all operations.

Estimate

Upon arrival, talk to homeowner about situation is experiencing low air volume coming from the blower motor after looking at the manual and looking at the blower motor configuration I reset the dip switches to three ton. Blower motor will run on low speed after doing a little bit of investigation. I noticed more has other 4 connections potentially for speed on motor. I used terminals 3 and 5 and motor speed increase by 50%. I finally set speed on terminal 3 to achieve around 1000 cfm. Static pressure was .8 wc. Terminal 5 static pressure was 1.25 wc. I left speed on terminal 3 due to static pressures. Cycle heat and ac ok. Now blower is moving more air across unit. Customer does not have enough wires to connect G terminal on thermostat. I told customer recirculating air will help with comfort.no charge warranty
