Reviewed equipment with Michelle to inspect installation. Installation looks professional and there were no issues. Found air filter to be getting dirty, informed Michelle to replace 16x25x1 filter as soon as possible. Tested system in ac mode and measured system charge and tested all components operation. Measured supply air temp. Michelle said 2nd floor is hotter than the first floor and this was a problem before the installation. Inspected ductwork and found 2 return grills on the second floor that were abandoned when a wall was removed in the kitchen. There are currently no return air ducts on the second floor and this is why it is hotter. Found a path in dining room corner that aligns with 2nd floor bedroom and mechanical room where a return can go. Michelle will weight out the cost of getting a contractor to put in a soffit. Luis 5-10-26 customer called Joe, they have an issue with the electrical panel, upon arrival check outdoor ac breaker and found to be damaged visually inspect panel, I was not able to install new breaker due bud bars been damaged. Customer needs to contact electrician to inspect electrical panel, most likely customer will need to upgrade electrical panel for safety purposes.

Replaced txv pressure tested evacuated and charged system to standards with fresh refrigerant. Tested operations . Supply at 49.

Luis 12-8-25 performed quality assurance on recently installed system. Check indoor and outdoor units. All electrical connections and components ok. Check heater operation settings on second stage delay ok CFM on heat and ac side ok. Test safeties ok. Check static pressure. Rerun side is very high in can be improve by adding different type of grill (floor metal grill and making the opening bigger). See photos. We can also increase return flexes to 8 currently 7 in (2). I also replaced filter. Customer will set up WiFi later on. I showed customer how to operate Settings on thermostat. Customer also would want to move unit coupe feet away from door see photos. Joe is aware this.

Luis 11-17-25 customer called in for no heat, thermostat issues, found unit off upon arrival. Thermostat would not move from 67 up or down. I manually jumper board to test operation, heater did not work until third time. Flames were bouncing as soon as blower come on. I performed combustion test and smoke test, heater filled smoke test, this indicates there is now an opening on heat exchanger, could be welding connections, gaskets or cracks. Unit is from 1992. Customer decided to keep heater off and to get an estimate to replace system. I took photos of indoor and outdoor units. Joe will email Michelle and go over system replacement options.

Completed heat tune up for natural gas furnace. Replaced 16x25x1 folter Inspected heat exchanger, burners, flue pipe, inducer assembly and hoses Inspected hot surface ignitor and verified resistance with meter Cleaned flame sensor and verified flame rectification circuit Measured temperature rise and static pressure Checked wiring, controls, electric motors and components; there are no surge protectors; left estimate for a surge protector for each of the 2 main circuits of system Checked manifold gas pressure Inspected drain and pump. There is a condensate pump safety but no EZ trap. A wet switch is recommended to shut down equipment in the event of a water leak on floor provided estimate Combustion, draft and smoke tests: Pass Gas furnace is operating well at this time. Homeowners renewed and paid for plan today.

Performed Precision Heating Tune Up on Amana Gas Furnace. Replaced the Air Filter for system. Inspected electrical components and connections. Cleaned pressure switch tubing. Cleaned flame sensor and inspected burners. Reviewed system programming on the Control Board. Put into operation and performed combustion testing for low and high stage heating. System operating to standards at this time. Collected payment for service plan membership.
