Job Locations and Reviews

Upon arrival I cycled system in cooling and proceeded to outdoor unit. Inspected outdoor coil and condenser fan. Checked electrical connections and components on outdoor unit. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures. I then proceeded to indoor unit. Changed air filter. Inspected evaporator coil and drain pan. Cleared and tested drain line. Inspected blower assembly and electrical connections. Checked static pressure and temperature differentials. System is operating appropriately at this time. Gave homeowner estimate to install a ducted E100 dehumidifier and a model 600 M humidifier. Collected deposit on estimate and informed him we will schedule once we get all material in stock.

Found no surge protection on blower motor , installed Ecm surge protector. Also performed precision a/c tune up on Bosch heat pump system. Replaced 18x30x1 air filter. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked temperature split. Brushed out ez trap. Checked readings at outdoor unit control board. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. Heat pump system is working properly at time of service.

Fully assessed no cooling situation. Found that the a/c is freezing up. Went up in attic and found blower running at air handler but r-22 pressures are low. 232/57. System is from 2004 and overall is just shot. Explained to tennet that this system needs to be replaced. Landlord is Amish. Explained to Gregory is the next step is to get someone from our office out to give a replacement quote. System is in the attic.

No one home

Upon arrival, I performed maintenance on AC system. Changed homeowner provided 14x30x1 air filter. Inspected evaporator coil and drain pan. Cleared and tested drain line. Inspected blower assembly and electrical connections. Cycled system in cooling and checked static pressure and temperature differentials. Proceeded to outdoor unit. Inspected outdoor coil and condenser fan. Checked electrical connections and components on outdoor unit. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures. System is operating appropriately at this time.

Upon arrival I found system was running with a 19° temperature drop. Replaced 413 spaceguard air filter and was able to get the system to run at a 29° temperature drop. System is operating appropriately at this time.

Estimate

Inspected the new indoor coil and tested the ez trap and tested the condensate .Took indoor temp splits for the return and the supply. Checked the outdoor level and the disconnect level make sure all penetrations are caulked and tested in AC mode on outdoor unit. Checked the charge by using super heat and sub cool method. Added 13 oz for proper charge. Talked with the customer to see if he had any questions. The new system looks good. It’s up and running at this time of service.
Explained things well
We are so glad to hear that you had a good experience.

Sealed line set penetration holes for possible air leakage also found return from the unit where the sweating is occurring along with leakage from the return and on the other side of the wall. Bathroom is on the other side of the wall, where the room floor is sweating and the fact that it seems to occur after getting in the shower that the floor sweats in the next room. Need to block the next return bay with thermal paning, and put some insulation around the tub and return area in the basement ceiling
Did not help

Fully assessed situation. Found that line set hole was sealed correctly on the outside from install. Found larger problem was open exterior wall cavitys pulling cold air from the basement and mixing with attic air creating condensation at the wooden baseboards. Provided estimate to do 2 part spray foam around basement. Emailed over estimate to homeowner.

Great job as always.
Very responsive, tech fixed the problem and explained the path forward. Very professional, did a great job. I’m not happy with the furnace at all, as it has required service multiple times since it was installed.
